Fox Valley to Celebrate 10 Years
Shopping Centre to Celebrate 10 ‘Absolutely Fabulous’ years with an unmissable Big Birthday Weekend
Fox Valley is gearing up for a landmark celebration this month as it marks 10 years at the heart of the community, inviting visitors to a vibrant and unmissable Big Birthday Weekend.
Fox Valley was officially opened in June 2016 by Dame Joanna Lumley OBE, accompanied by Mark Dransfield Chairman of Dransfield Properties.
On Saturday, June 13th, and Sunday, June 14th, the centre will host a special Big Birthday Weekend packed with celebrations to mark a decade of shopping, dining, events, and community.
Developed on a former steelworks site, the centre has since become an integral part of the Stocksbridge community.
Running on both days from 11am – 4pm, a festival-style atmosphere is promised throughout the weekend of family-friendly entertainment, with plenty of opportunities for the local community to come together and celebrate as a thank you for the continued support Fox Valley has received since opening in 2016.
Over the birthday weekend, visitors can look forward to a lively programme of entertainment including a 10th birthday cake cutting on the Saturday, as well as stilt walkers, an interactive bubble entertainer and performances from Valley Music Festival, Rock Choir and Hannah Rowe – also on Saturday.
