A Dazzling Return: Our Waterlily Court
Our newly enhanced Waterlily Court is a beloved space like no other—and it’s making its grand return just in time for the beginning of aquatics season.
Opening May 9 and serving as the completion of Longwood Reimagined, this elegant, masterfully curated garden stuns with its quiet pools of aquatic treasures and luminous blooms. With 100 varieties of hardy and tropical waterlilies, lotus, and South American water-platters—which adorn the pools starting in late May—a spectacular showcase awaits you. Looking for even more aquatics? Find a variety of hardy waterlilies making their West Conservatory debut. Gracefully adorning its interior canals and outside along its southernmost side nearest the Main Fountain Garden, these day-blooming beauties in hues of yellow, pink, and white add another gorgeous element to this stunning space. Classical Nights Join us as we highlight classical favorites on select evenings throughout the season. Our classical Illuminated Fountain Performances are dramatic, inspiring, and breathtakingly beautiful. Many of these performances are designed by Longwood’s P.S. du Pont Fellow— and our very first fountain choreographer—Colvin Randall, who has been designing shows for 45 years.
