REFLECTING ON LOMA LINDA ACADEMY SINCE 1940 As the 2025–2026 school year began, students prepared for the first day of school and the annual Student Association (SA) Handshake event following classes. This event was created for returning students to meet newcomers and incoming freshmen. We all came together to greet the student body in a long line and reconnect after summer vacation. Although the event is filled with fun and excitement from all the students, its main purpose is to bring the school community together. SA Handshake: Sailing Across The Sea With ‘26 dressed in themed costumes. The senior class met up at the Kids U parking lot to get organized and conceal their displays from the other classes before it was time for the big entrance. Many seniors colored their hair, wore elaborate costumes, and decorated their “float” cars. This year, the seniors followed two fire trucks that kicked off the parade. Some students even sprayed the crowd with water guns and threw candy. After the parade concluded, the games began. The first game was a bat spin. The participant ran to a
