Mayor’s Welcome There’s a jam-packed program of events the whole family will love at this year’s Laidley Spring Festival - all your favourites are back! With boots on and hat set, I’m ready to soak up the spirit of this year’s Grand Street Parade, ‘Country Harvest’, as it rolls proudly down Patrick Street. It’s more than just a celebration of our rich farming heritage—it’s a showcase of the strength and resilience that runs through the heart of the Lockyer Valley. From hardworking local businesses to our thriving schools and dedicated community groups, this parade celebrates the people who keep our region growing strong. It’s a true country celebration of who we are and what we stand for. Join us on Saturday to see Bluey and Bingo for real life in the Bluey Live Interactive Experience before acclaimed Queensland country-pop outfit The Wet Whistles headline the afternoon celebrations. Be sure and catch the demos of culinary excellence in the Producer’s Patch and the gleaming beauties at the Show ‘n’ Shine. If two days is not enough, enjoy the feel-good, honey-drizzled atmosphere, market stalls, delicious eats and a whole swarm of FREE activities for the kids at Sunday’s Bee Happy Day in Forest Hill. In times of tightening the household belt, we’re proud to offer a mostly free event, with a few community events asking for a gold coin donation or small entry fee to support hard-working local organisations. I’m tipping my hat to the dedicated organising team behind this event, and countless volunteers, who have once again given their all to make this event so welcoming. Explore the local geology display and discover the story of Laidley Creek from top to bottom. Inside the Scout Hut, visitors can enjoy two special exhibitions featuring the rocks and geological structures of the Lockyer Valley, alongside a brand-new display showcasing significant Triassic plant fossils from the Esk Basin in the Somerset Region.

LET US DRIVE YOU FRIDAY EVENING The shuttle bus will be running from the Laidley Showgrounds to Twilight Feast and Fest on a constant loop.
SHUTTLE BUS AND PARKING Park the car and use the festival shuttle buses to hop on and off at the various expos occurring at the festival! Buses depart at 9:30am, stopping at all stops on a regular loop. Friday and Saturday, the last bus loop will finish by 2.30pm. Please note the bus is not wheelchair accessible.
