✅ Generalized pain or heaviness in the left side of the chest that might spread to the other side of the chest, arms, or even to the jaw.
✅ This pain might last more than 30 minutes. If it is just before the heart attack, the patient might experience the pain in intervals of 10 to 15 minutes between which they will feel fine.
✅ Sweating
✅ Breathlessness
✅ Dizziness or lightheadedness
✅ Swelling of legs, hands and feet
✅ Sudden fatigue or weakness
✅ Some patients might not feel any of the pain or symptoms. Silent heart attacks are common among long-time diabetic patients, hypertensive patients, women, and older people. These people might experience breathlessness or coughing while lying down or while climbing. These symptoms happen due to the weak performance of the heart.
If you notice any of these symptoms, it is imperative that you immediately take the patient to the hospital and have them get the required medical care. Remember that this can save the lives of the people.
