Thanks to you, our generous Y community, the spirit of giving has been overflowing this season. As our annual Giving Tree collection period comes to a close, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to every member who donated gifts, shared the wish list, or helped spread the word. Your kindness will brighten the holidays for more than 1,500 students at Elliott, Pershing, and Campbell Elementary Schools…all of which are CLC sites and served by the YMCA through Before and After School programing.
Each year, the Giving Tree stands as one of our most cherished YMCA traditions. With your support, these children will receive a special holiday gift chosen just for them. Your contributions have once again ensured that every child feels seen, supported, and celebrated this season.
While gifts have been collected, the magic isn’t over yet. Distribution Day is just around the corner on Friday, December12 at Pershing and Elliott and Tuesday, December 16 at Campbell. At this time, staff and volunteers will help deliver joy directly to the schools. It’s one of the most heartwarming days of the year, and we invite you to follow along on our social channels to see photos from the day!

Out of School Days is a licensed child care program offered at the Cooper, Copple Family, Fallbrook, and Northeast YMCA locations on some Lincoln Public Schools non-school days for youth in kindergarten through age 13.

PARENTS NIGHT OUT

Parents Night Out is an opportunity for kids to have a fun, supervised night at the YMCA while their parents enjoy a dinner date or simply time without the help of little hands. Parents Night Out is offered at the Cooper, Copple Family, and Fallbrook YMCAs.

The event provides a great opportunity for parents to spend an afternoon out shopping, wrapping gifts, or getting the house ready for the holidays while their children enjoy a supervised, fun filled afternoon at the Y. This event is offered at the Fallbrook YMCA.

We had a record breaking year with over 2,500 runners in our17th Annual Turkey Trot presented by Union Bank & Trust! Thank you to our sponsors and all those who trotted with us on Thanksgiving morning!
GIVING TUESDAY
YMCA staff and members from all branches rose to the challenge during Giving Tuesday on December 2. Together, we raised over $36,000 for the YMCA Annual Fundraising Campaign in just ONE day!
ITTY BITTY HOOPERS
Last month, these little all-stars participated in the opening weekend of our Itty Bitty Hoopers program - learning the basics of basketball and having fun along the way!
