There is Power in Restraint, Beauty in Intention, and Strength in Calm.
Some evenings, I catch myself watching the city just before iftar. Cars slow down. Windows glow. There’s a gentle anticipation in the air that no clock can measure. And in those moments, I’m reminded that motivation doesn’t always come from pushing harder; it often comes from pausing long enough to notice what truly matters.
Ramadan has that effect on me every year. As an editor, I live by deadlines, structure, and momentum. But this month softly interrupts that rhythm. It asks different questions. Are you being intentional? Are you present in your own life? Are you growing, even when things feel quiet? Strangely enough, those questions feel more powerful than any checklist ever could.
