How it Works

Unless called out for a specific purpose, auction proceeds support the ministry of Lakeside Lutheran High School in three areas: student financial aid, building improvement fund, and general operating fund.

Registration & Bidding

All bids will be online or mobile entries.

To participate most effectively, download the “Auctria” smartphone app. This tool makes it a breeze to access and follow the online auction event. Receive notifications on your device when you’re outbid or win an item. Access the app when you scan the QR code here (both iOS and Android) or at charityauction.bid/mobile

(Scan the QR code with your phone/tablet camera and your device will ask if you want to go to the link destination. Tap yes and your device will take you to the right store.)

If you are at the event in person, some displays will have volunteers who will take your info and enter it for you online. For those who can’t or do not wish to use their own devices, a “Warrior Geek Squad” kiosk is there to assist. Stop there before you browse the offerings to get help.

You are encouraged to bid, buy, and donate. Doing so constitutes a legal contract to purchase that auction item at the price you stated if your bid is the winning bid. The last (highest) valid bid entered prior to the section closing will be the winning bid.

The Auction Committee reserves the right to withdraw any item at any time without notice before the actual sale. In the event of a dispute, the Committee shall act as final authority in determining the winning bid.

Payment & Pick-Up

For the best check-out/item pick-up experience, provide credit/debit card info online prior to event OR upon event check-in.

Auction items are available for pick up at the end of the event. Post-event, all won items should be picked up at LLHS April 20-24 from 10-3.

If you cannot pick up, know that shipping costs are added to your winning bid. Some items cannot ship. Questions? Email grandevent@llhs.org.

Terms of Sale—Unless otherwise noted, all certificates for goods and services must be used within one year of the auction date. All items and services are subject to the terms and conditions specified by the donors.

What do I do with my drink tickets?

Drink tickets (3 per ticketed guest) are redeemable at the bar for a beer, seltzer, or wine. (Feel free to share extra tickets.)

BROWSE. Sneak peek the dessert selection in the West Gym.

FILL OUT CARD. When seated for dinner, write your name, bidder number, and donation amount on the table card. Everyone gets dessert! Cards are collected and table bids are tallied.

DASH! Later in the program, tables are announced in order. Highest bid table gets first pick and sends a “dasher” to either grab their dessert of choice to take to their table, or—if they’d prefer to have the dessert delivered—place their table flag in the dessert of their choice. Other table dashers follow in descending order of table bid totals. Grab ‘em quick!

Our fiesta would not be comlete without capturing the night at the photo booth! A photographer is set up in the south cafeteria with a party backdrop and some fun props to wear and hold as you gather with fam or friends to snap a pic with a camera or your phone. Robotic Arm Workcells

Big changes in store for STEM courses! In an effort to connect students to courses that offer training in skills directly related to current industry standards and broaden our current engineering curriculum, LL is shifting to a 6-course engineering curriculum that includes two new courses—Intro to Robotics and Industrial Robotics—that require VEX CTE workcells.

Grand Event donors have opportunity to fund 2 of the 6 needed ($2,499 ea). Thank you for partnering with us as we strive to move forward helping students reach their potential in engineering and industrial arts careers!

Greenhouse Supplies

A campus improvement planned for summer 2026 (By His Design) involves renovating the courtyard to build a 24x30’ greenhouse and a large garden. The Greenhouse Supplies Fund-a will help outfit the greenhouse with heavy duty benches (elevated surfaces used to optimize plant cultivation by improving ergonomics, increasing growing space, and enhancing plant health through better air circulation and drainage) and supplies such as flats, pots, baskets, a soil tester and a hose wagon, all items that provide students in agriculture, science and FACS classes the full benefits of having a greenhouse. Future courses expect to utilize the renovated courtyard space to provide food and plants for use in the LL kitchen and beyond!

This gave me the opportunity to express my creativity in a new medium. For this project, I used a plasma cutter to create the butterfly outline, then ground it smooth. Mr. Kasper welded the rebar to complete the structure. I finished the piece by torching it to bring out vibrant colors and sealing it with a protective coat."
