The third collaboration between fourth year undergraduate language students at the University of Edinburgh and local school pupils studying languages to Advanced Higher level in Scotland. In this issue, you'll find writing in Spanish, Chinese, French, Italian and German on the themes of Multilingualism and Man vs. Machine. The content includes fiction and non-fiction pieces written by school-level learners with the support, guidance and knowledge of university students. Babble: The School Issue - 3 was published in March 2025 as a supplement to the 13th edition of Babble, the Creative Writing magazine for European Languages and Cultures at Edinburgh. The first School Issue was published in 2023 as a supplement to Babble’s 10th edition.
