The launch of a collaboration between fourth year undergraduate language students at the University of Edinburgh and local school pupils studying languages to Advanced Higher level in Scotland.
In this first issue, you'll find writing in Spanish and French on the theme of Colours. The content was written by learners in 13 Edinburgh high schools with the support, guidance and knowledge of university students.
Babble: The School Issue - 1 was published in March 2023 as a supplement to the 10th edition of Babble, the Creative Writing magazine for European Languages and Cultures at Edinburgh. It extends a project originally developed by Sylvain Blanche and language students at Edinburgh Napier University.
