The Unfinished Spin explores the emotional journey of reconnecting with an aabandoned dream. Inspired by my background as a contemporary dancer, the project translates the unfinished motion of a spin into architectural form - expressing tension, memory, and renewal.
The design offers a narrative-driven experience, guiding visitors who have also left behind their creative passions. Entering from the back of the site, the journey begins with a life exhibition hidden underground near the water, a quiet space for reflection. Emerging to ground level, visitors move through small pavilions and sunken outdoor amphitheatre, spaces that encourage interaction and expression. The path culminates at the main theatre, a tall, sculptural form symbolising rebirth and continuation.
Through a progression from stillness to motion, darkness to light, The Unfinished Spin celebrates incompleteness - showing that even paused dreams continue to move within us.

A broken mirror symbolizes fragmented dreams, inner conflict, and reflection - guiding a massing concept of fractured, shifting forms and emotional rupture.
reflects dance movements of turning, release and flow - inspiring a massing that em bodies rhythm, grace, and continuous spatial motion through form.
MASTER PLANNING
1. Reserving the west part as of the historical value to the site.
2. Extending the canal into the site which enhance the interaction between land and water.
3. Locate the programs to create experiences.
