Welcome to our Annual Bull and Female Sale!

Welcome, and thank you for taking the time to look through our Bull & Female sale offering. Your interest and support truly mean a great deal to us, and we are excited to share this set of bulls with you.

At JNR Farms, everything we do starts with great cows. Maternal cow power and proven cow families are the backbone of our program, and they guide every decision we make. The bulls in this sale are backed by generations of productive, sound, fertile females that have consistently done their job. We believe great bulls are simply a reflection of great cows, and that belief has never wavered.

We remain fully committed to 100% Fleckvieh genetics, focusing on cattle that are functional, efficient, and built to last. Productive cattle that work in real-world conditions have always been our focus, and these bulls are bred to sire females you want to keep and calves that perform from birth to market.

It’s an exciting time to be in the cattle business. With record prices and strong optimism across the industry, we are confident in the future and in the value of investing in quality, maternal-focused genetics. The cattle industry is rewarding good cattle, and we believe this offering is well positioned to help our customers succeed.

We are proud of this set of bulls and grateful to everyone who supports JNR Farms. We look forward to visiting with you on sale day and throughout the year, welcoming both new and returning customers, and sharing our enthusiasm for the future.

We would like to point out that we do have a larger than normal percentage of SCURRED POLLED bulls in our offering this year. The scurred gene does not influence whether a calf is horned or polled; it only affects the presence of scurs in animals that are genetically polled. If the buyer would like the scurs removed, we will have our vet remove them at our cost.

Putting a sale like this together is never a one-person effort. We would like to sincerely thank our family, friends, and everyone who lends a hand throughout the year. From calving season to sale day, your help, dedication, and belief in what we do make this possible, and we are truly thankful for each of you.

We are always open to showing and talking cattle so feel free to contact us for a good visit about common interests in this Ag industry.

JNR Farms - The Repkas Jerry, Nicole, Regan & Rayanna Repka

This past year marked an important milestone for our program with the opportunity to purchase and incorporate the Wolfes Fleckvieh mature cow herd. We are extremely grateful for the trust Shane, Shannon, Hanna, and Carmen Wolfe have placed in us, and we are truly honoured to carry forward a cow herd built on the same core values we believe in — strong maternal foundations, longevity, and consistency. These females add meaningful depth to our cow families and further strengthen the future of our program.

The Transcon Team Welcomes You!

Welcome to JNR Farms annual Fleckvieh Simmental Bull and Female sale! This is a must -see set of bulls, so plan to come early for a look, then stay for the greatest prime rib meal you have ever enjoyed!

The Repka’s are great hosts, whether it’s a summer pasture tour (which is always impressive) or a winter bull pen tour. Their busy family operation will always make the time for a visit. I’m sure if you have been fortunate enough to stop by, you’ve enjoyed an amazing steak-I know I have! Jerry cooks up a great one! You will find the Repka’s sale a truly special event to attend.

This year’s bull pen is truly exceptional: dark red and soggy with many being polled! From high performance heavy muscled power bulls to calving ease specialists your search for a herdsire should start at JNR Farms.

I had the opportunity to tour the bull pen the first week of January, I was impressed. There is a great variety of types in the pen that will catch your eye for different reasons. There is absolutely something for everyone here, and I’m confident you will be impressed as well.

The passion and commitment Jerry, Nicole and Regan have for their 100% Fleck cowherd is unmatched. Their constant search for genetics led them to the purchase of the Wolfes Fleckvieh herd in 2025, adding 50 plus mother cows. I believe this step makes JNR the largest herd of 100% Fleckvieh Simmental cows in the nation.

As the herd has grown so has the ability to offer more females in the sale. This year’s offering is larger and deep in quality, so definitely take a serious look. This is the only place you can purchase an open heifer and not take possession until she is bred! The Repka’s will look after that part and send her your way after she is ultrasounded. That seems like buying a bred heifer to me -what great value!

Once again this year you get the opportunity to take a run at the Jamieson’s set of commercial heifers. Tom and his family always bring a strong set of quiet, hairy, sound set of heifers that are highly sought after. With the cattle industry at lifetime high, it’s a great time to step into replacement heifers like these.

Please join us February 21 at JNR Farms for an outstanding set of bulls and females, followed by some world-class hospitality! If you are unable to attend, please reach out to any of us on the Transcon team, we are always happy to assist. Remember, there is always great value in starting your herdbull search early!

• The Quantum calves have been some of the most anticipated of the year, and they have far exceeded our expectations— combining calving ease, muscle, growth, and eye appeal, all wrapped in an attractive, heavy-haired package

• Quantum, our 2024 sale high seller, was one we believed in strongly, purchasing a half interest back from JEM Simmentals to keep his influence moving forward in our program.

• On the maternal side, Mission’s dam is a maternal sister to JNR Barbarian, a bull that continues to leave his mark across many different herds, adding another layer of proven maternal strength and consistency

• This calf has been a standout since birth, backed by a first-calving Proxy female that has drawn plenty of admiration already — a young cow with all the indicators of a very promising future ahead

• His dam is backed by some of the most productive cow families on the farm — extremely easy-keeping, with natural muscle and shape that is typical of the JNR Boulder cattle, adding another layer of proven maternal strength to this pedigree

• The Franchesca cow line continues to be one we eagerly hope for females from, as it has consistently proven itself as a foundation maternal line in our program

• The dam is a complete, functional cow with a beautiful udder, sound feet, and an excellent temperament. These are the kinds of females that quietly make a herd better

• This bull was born light at birth, yet carries performance with tremendous maternal strength, supported by a cow family that continues to rise to the top. JNR Franchesca 241J’s first calf placed at the top of our 2024 replacement pen

• To round it out, this cow family consistently excels in production, ranking Top 10 for butterfat — another indicator of the maternal power behind this offering

Homo Polled, Dilutor Free

• This Homo Polled Quantum son is sure to catch your eye, combining a smooth, clean build with plenty of style and natural shape — the kind of look that draws attention without sacrificing function

• The grand dam pictured is a JNR Cashmere daughter we purchased as a bred heifer from Lonestone Farms in 2021, a female that has quickly proven her worth. From that investment, we retained a son, JNR Fuse, whose first calves will be hitting the ground this year.

• Matias’ dam was an early Februaryborn female and, despite being one of the youngest in the replacement pen, was among the first to calve, offering an early glimpse of the fertility built into this pedigree

• This bull is built to be an extremely consistent producer, anchored by the Graceful and Mystic cow families on both the top and bottom of his pedigree — two lines known for reliability, productivity, and longevity in our program

• While his young dam’s time was unfortunately cut short due to injury, the maternal strength behind him runs deep. He is backed by a 6- and 12-year-old grand dam, along with 12- and 14-year-old great- granddams that are still in production here today, a powerful testament to the durability and staying power of this cow family

• Phenotypically, he is well balanced, exceptionally thick, and carries plenty of hair, offering both the look and the substance to complement the maternal foundation behind him

• From a phenotype standpoint, this bull brings extreme muscle expression carried deep and wide through his quarter, while maintaining balance and masculinity

• Phenotypically, he is loose made and moderate framed, with a square hip, and he is the kind that will produce excellent replacement females

Homo Polled

• Boy oh boy… this was not an easy decisionAfter a lot of debate — Nicole won this one

• Out of a first-calving female, this is the first homo polled female we have ever offered by public auction in 26 years and she really is a sweet heart of a heifer carrying adequate power in an extremely attractive package

• HOMO Polled and backed by an elite, timetested pedigree on both the top and bottom

• From the very first calf crop of JNR Quantum, a sire who has blown past expectations with sons Lots 1–9 and the second-largest sire group in our replacement pen — this is the only JNR Quantum heifer we are (very reluctantly) letting go

• The JNR Flora 597C cow family is a cornerstone for us: 7 calves produced, only one bull who made the bull pen, with all six daughters retained; her influence continues with granddaughters in Lots 70 and 83

• Ranked #6 for WWT out of 20 sale heifers, backing her look with real performance

Homo Polled

• The first and only JNR Quest female ever offered in our sale — we have 9 daughters and 1 granddaughter retained in our herd, with more arriving this calving season, all noted for their beautiful udders

• JNR Quest has been one of our walking heifer bulls for four years, proving himself with exceptional calving ease, calf vigour, and the ability to sire strong homo polled calves

• A very attractive female — deep-bodied and feminine

• Just a 71 lb birth weight out of a firstcalving heifer, yet an actual weaning weight of 713 lbs — no slouch for performance

• Backed by growth and performance, with JNR Concept and MFI BamBam stacked on the maternal side

• Homo polled genetics add real-world value — no horns to manage, and polled calves every time, making her an easy, addition to any program

REJG MYSTIC 1N

• This was our first calf crop out of JNR Reward, and to date the heaviest use we’ve ever given a first-season bull through both AI and natural service — we were 100% confident in him based on the maternal consistency behind him

• Makenna’s dam, now 14 years old, has had a major influence in our herd through her son JNR Armor, whose genetics appear throughout our pedigrees, along with numerous daughters and granddaughters

• A full sibling is expected this calving season, reinforcing our confidence in this mating

• Last year’s maternal sibling, sold to Cora Pawluk, was equally deep and soggy, proving repeatability

• Makenna has loads of hair, built for longevity, and extremely feminine in her design

• From the JNR Mystic 229Z line — note the homo polled grandson in Lot 32

• An exceptionally deep-sided, broody female — powerful yet feminine, be sure to take a good look at this girl

• From the Flora cow family, this heifer is built to mature into a larger-framed, powerful female, just like her dam

• A unique pedigree blend stacking Great Guns Willy Joe with the proven performance of Brink Bulletproof

• Dam JNR Flora 833F ranked #5 for butterfat in the sale heifer group

• JNR Reward now stands as the largest sire group in our replacement pen, bull pen, and sale heifer pen — the uniform, high-quality calves across the board speaks volumes

• Dam ranked #5 for Butterfat out of 20 sale heifers

• Maddison’s dam has produced four consecutive heifers — aside from this female, two are retained in our herd and one sold to Madison Farms (Oregon)

• Dam ranked #4 for milk protein in the sale heifer group

Smooth Polled

• Amelia is a very special female that Nicole would have preferred to keep, we did retain her Maternal sister last year

• A deep, broody heifer with impressive performance—out of a second-calf dam born late January, yet she topped the heifer offering ranking #1 for ADG and WPDA, delivering performance in a polled package

• Her dam ranked #1 for butterfat in the heifer offering, a trait the 127K cow family consistently excels at year after year

• We love this heifer’s capacity and big hip—built to make the kind of calves you want to build a cow herd around

• As with Lot 77, the combination of the 127K cow family and JNR Proxy continues to work exceptionally well

• A 100% horned pedigreed female

• Dam ranked #2 for milk protein, with last year’s heifer calf retained in our herd

• This mating represents a rare opportunity, as semen on JNR Highlight is extremely limited following his unfortunate loss to a broken hip in the bull pasture after his first breeding season

• Fortunately, we retained eight daughters last year, and true to the Haxent line, their udders are nothing short of phenomenal

• We have strong confidence in this mating—Nessa’s grand dam was bred to JNR Highlight in his first year, resulting in a set of twin heifers that both remained in our herd

JNR PROXY - SIRE OF LOT 37-40, 73 AND 77-80

• Another female carrying no polled gene in her pedigree

• From a true cornerstone cow family in our herd, influenced by the powerful Margo line and through JNR Salton—a bull whose impact is found throughout our herd and in pedigrees across Canada and the USA

• JNR Hellina 371A is a 13-year-old, truly trouble-free cow in every sense— and very much a pet—who thankfully left us another beautiful heifer this year to help soften the blow of letting this one go

• Backed by generations of proven producers, with bulls like Arnold’s Evereardy (the bull that began it all for us), C & B Western, and Jahari, and elite cow families including Knights Shyann, MFI Lolita, and our trusted Ellen line, this female is bred to follow in her lineage’s footsteps and be a phenomenal long-term producer

• Needless to say we will be repeating this mating and hopefully the old girl can give us a NOVA 2.0

• With 27 females currently in our herd from the Ellen cow family, along with JNR Concept tracing back to this line, there is absolutely no question—this is proven, predictable production

• The only Maserati female in the sale, making this a unique opportunity

• Out of JNR Martina 113H, who has now had 3 females, and she has never produced a calf over 82 lbs, highlighting calving ease and consistency

• Mirella’s dam is a young, direct Arnold’s Eveready daughter— angular, feminine, and consistent

• We retained both her first and second daughters, each displaying correct, tidy udders we expect from her as well as our Maserati females

• Eye-catching colour and pigment the industry demands

• This heifer has a very bright future ahead of her

Commercial Heifers consigned by Tom & Terri Jamieson & Family

Welcome to the Annual JNR Bull Sale. We would like to sincerely thank Jerry, Nicole, and family for welcoming us back for the sixth year. Once again, we are proud to offer a strong, consistent group of quiet red and black heifers, all sired by JNR bulls and developed with a focus on temperament and functionality. This year’s offering includes several JNR Kanon–sired heifers, adding extra size and depth along with strong maternal strength from the Bullet Proof cow family. All heifers are polled, enrolled in a complete herd health program, and have been palpated prior to sale day.

A big thank-you to our kids, who are out there every day working alongside us—without their help, this wouldn’t be possible. We also extend our appreciation to all past buyers and bidders who have supported us by purchasing our females over the years. If you have any questions, please feel free to call 780-206-7557.
