Panther Creek Ranch will keep all bulls free of charge until May 1st at the buyers risk. Bulls become property of the new owners as soon as they are sold. If you are planning on leaving your bulls, mortality insurance will be available sale day. If your bull leaves before April 7th, you will receive a $100 credit sale day.
VIEWING
Cattle may be viewed anytime prior to sale day, just give us a call. Each lot will also have a video 10 days prior to the sale you may view on DVAuction.
TERMS OF THE SALE
Cattle will sell under terms and conditions suggested by American Angus Association. Check, cash, or money wire will be accepted.
HEALTH
Interstate health papers will be furnished.
TRUCKING
Free delivery up to 500 miles on all bulls or nationwide on purchases of $15,000 or more. On females, trucking is the responsibility of the buyer but we will help where we can.
LIABILITY
All persons attending this sale do so at their own risk, legal or otherwise for their safety of the behavior of the animals. Owners, nor sale staff assume liability for property loss, damage or accidents that may occur.

BREEDING GUARANTEE
We guarantee that all cattle sold in this sale are fertile to the best of our knowledge. All bulls sell with a breeding guarantee that is if a bull is to be found functionally infertile during the first breeding season we will provide you with a replacement of equal value or issue you a credit minus the salvage value of $2,500 in a future sale.
Your bull is an investment and should be treated as such. Overworked, undercared for, or mismanaged bulls can not be replaced. Fall calving females in this sale have been pregnancy tested and will be guaranteed pregnant sale day. Claims on open fall calving cows will need to be made by May 1st, 2026.

Welcome to our 32nd annual “Workin’ Kind” Bull and Female Sale! This marks our 73rd consecutive year of breeding and selling Angus cattle. We are incredibly grateful to be part of a business that allows our entire family to be involved. The Angus industry has created a deep bond within our family—one that feels almost addictive. We are passionate livestock people, and the pursuit of raising quality cattle is in our blood. Watching our grandkids interact with the livestock, it’s clear they have that same passion. They love being out with the cattle, just as we do.
As you all know, ranching is a tough life, but the rewards are immeasurable. It’s incredibly fulfilling to see our kids grow up with a deep love and passion for the livestock. We are more excited about this offering of cattle than we’ve ever been!! This year, we’re offering the largest and most impressive group of bulls in our 73year history. We look forward to your visual appraisal of them. Again, this year we’ve included three elite open heifers—these are from the very top of our replacement pen and are truly impressive. Additionally, we’re offering a proven donor that will be as interesting as any cow to sell in America this spring! There is also a nice selection of young spring pairs and fall bred females that are as good as you will find and hard to part with.
The cattle are available for viewing at the ranch anytime, and we welcome you to stop by at your convenience. Videos of the sale cattle will be posted at least two weeks prior to sale day on DVAuction. The spring-calving cows were filmed the first week of January before calving began, and they’ve come a long way since then. As in previous years, we won’t be running cattle through the sale ring. Instead, it will be a video sale, with the cattle penned outside the sale barn as usual.

These cattle are raised on fescue pastures and are treated just like commercial cattle. They’re built to perform well anywhere across the country. Heifer Bull - We think these should be true no worries heifer bulls. Guarded Heifer Bull - We think these bulls can be used on heifers under a higher level of management. Obviously on all bulls, until they are proven, we can be absolutely certain of nothing. We can only make these estimations according to the genomics, EPDs, actual birth weights, and our knowledge of the pedigree.

As I write this letter in the middle of winter the cattle market is surging. I can only imagine as we get close to cows on grass and beef on a grill what this market could be. However, I decided not even to think about how good it can be but focus on how my clients and their customers can maximize this God-given time in our lives. There are two factors that I think add to that ability to maximize your success, 1) focus on quality and 2) surround yourself with honest, good people that have talent in what you do. Both of those things can be done at Panther Creek Ranch! As good of cowboys as you can find and quite frankly some of the hardest working best people I have come across in my life. If you have done business here you know that, for you that haven’t, it’s time.
The cattle and offering would stand with their quality anywhere in the country. The bulls are full of red meat, even and sound footed. The more you go through them the more you find. The eyes that design them are some of the best we work with. I believe that can be seen throughout the entire offering. I don’t usually like to single any animals out that are being offered for sale, but I would like to make an exception. Poss Blackcap 2613 is a featured lot and holds as much promise and quality as any female that sells this year. Young in her career, she is newly freshened and ready to make an immediate impact on any program anywhere. She is the kind that bring visitors to your place and in turn brings value to the rest.
As we plow into 2026, I have committed myself to stay focused on the meat and potatoes of the business and that’s the people and the genetics. She is a direct daughter of the $200,000 donor G A R Sunrise 2016, whose progeny have dominated the marketplace with elite carcass merit and balanced maternal value. 2613 is a full sister to the $90,000 Poss Blackcap 2623 and the $150,000 herd sire Poss Devoted, further cementing the strength of this elite mating. The 2016 donor has proven her influence across the breed, with sons averaging over $25,000 in recent sales, making this cow family one of the most consistent sources of high-value genetics in the Angus industry.

The $50,000 top selling bull of the 2025 Edgar Brothers sale! We were so excited to be able to get War Lord bought last spring but are now even more excited about what the calves look like. We have had 50 calves born here at the ranch sired by him and they really look the part!! They have ranged from 65-80 pounds with a couple of exceptions, and several have been born out of first calf heifers.
