Welcome to the 20th Annual Kammerer Livestock Bull Sale. The sale is set for Wednesday, April 15, 2026 @1pm (MST) at the Bull Pen which is located at Amanda’s house (14551 Horseshoe Rd, Piedmont, SD 57769). The easiest way is take I-90 Exit 61 (Flying J/Common Cents exit) out of Rapid City,go North 6 miles on Elk Vale Rd, take a right on Horseshoe Rd, first house on the right (grey house & white barn). If unable to attend please view and bid online with Live Ag.
It is truly an honor to present over 20 years of raising Angus cattle and selling bulls. With every year that passes, we are excited for the opportunty to offer a better set of bulls, introduce new genetics, and continue improving the cow herd that makes this program possible. The lineup of bulls this year is very uniform, and we believe it is one of our best groups to date. Each year we strive to keep improving our quality and strengthening the herd. This year we are offering a larger selection of both AI and ET bulls, along with a very strong set of natural bull-breds.
It seems like yesterday we were given an opportunity to buy some registered angus cattle that included our famous 93 cow (Miss Northlander) she produced most of our ET calves that helped lay the foundation for our females today. The strength of our program begins with strong females. We continue to add good genetics to our cowherd which shows thru our consistency and quality of the cattle we are proud to raise.
It is never boring around the Kammerer Ranch...Amanda is back from Texas where she loved working for Shane & Taylor Hanchey and is now at SD Beef Industry Council as their Director of Communications & Marketing along with still marketing a few horse sales in the area.
Jessica has recently purchased Black Hills AI from Anita Pepin and is now the ABS Global rep and offering her AI and preg checking services under her new business Black Hills Livestock Services. We would like to thank Anita for this opportunity and her years of service to the beef industry. Jessica also works with CBW and SD Stockgrowers.
Jake is full time on the ranch; working on new fences/corrals, welding and chasing after cows.
Dillon has recently come back to the ranch to help and plan his next adventure while also doing some meat cutting from time to time.
We are very grateful for the support we have received over the years and appreciate everyone who has taken an interest in our program. The customer is very important to us, so please call Matt or Jake with any questions you might have.

Announcements: Announcements made from the auction block on sale day will take precedence over printed material or any prior advertising.
Free Delivery: Free Delivery of bulls within 350 miles with purchase over $4,000. Discount of $50 per/bull given if picked up sale day by buyer. Delivery for all others.
Kammerer Livestock Guarantee: Fertility 100% guaranteed. All bulls guaranteed as breeders thru 1st breeding season. Credit will be given back minus salvage value toward next year’s sale or a replacement can be chosen if available.
Kammerer Livestock will retain 1/3 semen interest in all bulls selling.
