First and foremost I would like to say thank you for looking through our catalog and actually taking the time to read this and thumb through what we’ve spent several years on. It is truly crazy how fast the year does go. We said goodbye to Grandma Shirley in July and we got to officially add Miah to the family when she tied the knot with Tyler in August. We still don’t know how Tyler convinced her it was a good idea to join our chaos. Eastyn was able to show her first set of animals in 4-H this year. She was very excited and it was a big learning experience for Kylee and I.
We would formally like to invite you to our annual production sale the first Tuesday in April, which happens to be April 7th this year, at the farm near Magnolia, Minnesota, at 1:00pm CST. We are proud of these bulls
It is rewarding from a personal standpoint seeing these bulls develop into what they’ve become knowing there
We are a very maternal based cowherd where we put a lot of emphasis on the female with good runners, udders and ones that can bring home big calves while maintaining body
We welcome tours anytime and would be more than happy to talk cattle, see the mommas and show you our vision of where we want to take the cattle.
With sincere gratitude,
Join us!

Lot 1
J2R Headgames N502
CALVED 12/7/24 RAA 5177599 TATTOO N502
U2 HEADSTRONG 273G
RAINBOW HEADS OR TAILS 24J Sire
RING CREEK LADY 61Z
J2R GERTIE L309
LCA RAMBLIN FEVER 092 J2R GERTIE H014
Cool out cross bull who is bigger framed dark cherry red. Out of a first calf heifer that did everything we could ask her to. His mom is a maternal sister to the Elite open heifer as lot 25.
Lot 2
LOT TWO
A true standout from the word go. Super complete bull out of a first calf heifer that will get any cattleman or women excited. Started small and weaned of big. Big footed, big boned, big middled and a big time maternal cow family to back him. The Reba cows in the Brylor program need no introduction for what they’ve done.
Lot 3
Big time growth bull with a WW in the top 6% and a YW in the top 4%! With a solid frame 6.5+ he’s got the diesel to burn to bring home a big set of feeder steers and a set of females you’ll want to keep. His dam is a full sibling to the bull we sold a couple years ago through here that the industry has gotten to know by the name of J2R Resource 144J.
Honestly this guy is one of my favorites in the pen. He’s got a cool build to him and is hard to put a hole in. Balanced on paper but phenotypically he’s got a slender front to him, lays in a wide chest floor, super maternal through his middle and big ol butt on him.
Lot 5
LOT FIVE
512N has had a look from about a month old on. I would argue he is what the cattle industry is lacking. We as cattlemen and women talk about cattle being 3 dimensional wider, deeper, and longer. He has a massive chest floor and I swear is at least 6 to 8 inches longer than any other bull we have to offer this year. I love this bull for his head shape and who his mother is. His head is what I would call the “Angus” type head, stocky, square, wide muzzled and just masculine. His mom 341 is a favorite of mine because of the fact she does what great cows do, she’s super fertile, has a good udder on her with teats that are refined and full of milk. If you want to build a cow herd I’d look hard here.
A dark cherry red moderate bull who has maternal power to boot. Copenhagen and Reckoning both stacked on the bottom half while having Wideload and Pie Legend on the top.
Lot 7
LOT SEVEN ·
Another dark cherry red bull stemming from none other than our O34 cow. This will be the last set of direct offspring from her and it honestly hurts to type that out. She was a great cow for us and we have seen her legacy live on through her offspring. If you like them a little thicker, little stouter, little deeper she would be the one in the lineage. 516 would be a full sib to our high seller we had 3 years ago and he resembles a lot of him. Other than having a recip mom that loved him a little to much, the only thing this guy is short on is ears and a chunk of tail. Hes going to sire feeder steers that get big and are efficient while making females that will last.
Lot 8
LOT EIGHT
519N is a cool dude, hes got a sweet angus head, smooth shoulder, big ribbed and a big square hip. Lot 8 and lot 19 are ET brothers who are also full sibs to one of our previous high sellers 3 years ago that we were able to sample back and use on heifers flawlessly. These brothers are jamm packed full of red meat, good footed, built to last.
Good complete bull from end to end who like his 3 other ET brothers brings the gun to the knife fight. Big boned, big middled, big topped and big hipped with good runners underneath.
Lot 10
LOT TEN
522 is an exciting bull from what he brings to the table. He is a maternal brother to the great J2R Resource 144J bull who has made his mark with the awesome and productive females. 522 and his full ET brother are SUPER stout and are ones that have diesel to burn! Big chest floors, wide topped, big hipped and might be some of the biggest nutted bulls in the offering. These guys are bound to make beautiful productive females and steers that make your neighbors curious.
A bull that has that herd bull look to him. Angus type head, big middled, big topped, big footed and a set of nuts to write home to mom about. His mom was the standout between the 3 flush sisters and the maternal backing behind him is awesome. I am by no means a “carcass guru” but this guys has 4 out of the 5 carcass epds in the top 25%.
Lot 12
LOT TWELVE
A full sib to a sale feature last year going to Lazy TV ranch in SD. I would argue inch for inch he is the heaviest muscled, deepest bodied bull in our offering and is a maternal sib to lot 7. 526 has a cool angus type head, great foot under him, rib shape to spare, big top and big hip on him. Youll be sure to find him on sale day.
LOTS THIRTEEN AND FOURTEEN
A set of full brothers that will be hard to pick from. They are both similar in their type and kind that it’s rewarding to see as a breeder. Big footed big topped wide chest floor bulls that will make a set of steers everyone will want to feed. Maternal brother was the high selling bull in our first annual sale. Lots 9, 13, 14, and 18 are full brothers.
Lot 15
LOT FIFTEEN
Full brother to lot 11 who I would argue has the extras. Bigger boned big footed, big middled, big hipped, dark red in color. Like his brother he can get out and move freely and will cover some terrain to breed those cows. He’s one of my favorites.
LOT SIXTEEN
Cadillac Jack like his brother and brothers before him are bulls that are exciting to crack out. Stout rascal who’s got the red angus characteristics that everyone remembers. Big boned, backed by a great female, and is sure to make some wicked good females.
Well balanced bull from front to back on paper and in the pen. Jammed full of red meat that’ll be sure to make an awesome set of feeders!
LOT EIGHTEEN
Youngest one of the flush brothers but he is sure no slouch. Like his brothers they are the cookie cutter type that have the characteristics to make a big framey set of feeders and a set of females to be desired. Take home the one of your choice or just make it easy and take all 4 of them. Either way you wont be disappointed.
Lot 19
LOT NINETEEN
Full brother to lot 8 who exemplifies a lot of the same characteristics his brother does. Good footed, Masculine head, chalked full of red meat, with performance to boot. Cool set of brothers that’ll be easy to find on sale day.
Lot 20
LOT
If disposition means something to you I would say this guy is your dude. When you walk into the pen he will find you and won’t leave you a lone until you rub his back. Disposition isn’t the only good thing about this guy, dark red, good footed bull who carries extra length. He is out of a first calf heifer that we purchased from Koedam Cattle co and she did a great job with him.
Lot 21
LOT TWENTY-ONE
Maternal brother to lot 5 and the natural calf out of 341. 541 will be a female making machine who combining 341 with 287C. Cherry red color with the herd bull presence, wide muzzled, good footed, big boned bull.
Lot 22
LOT TWENTY-TWO
A calf that I’m super excited about and for good reason. We sampled Pie Hollywood in our ET program and due to us calving earlier I wasn’t able to make these embryos as fast as I wanted and get them in accordingly. This bull has gotten better everyday and I guarantee if he had the same age on him as some of his older pen mates he would lead this sale off. Great cow family where the doll cow line was one of the most productive cow lines at the Rainbow dispersal. Dark cherry red, wide muzzled, angus type head, bold in his rib shape, deep throughout his middle, and a nice square hip at the end of this well rope with good runners to boot. We’ve all had some chances to acquire bulls out of a sire but we believe the cow is the difference and you’ll find that true in this sale. I would try him on larger framed heifers.
Lot 23
LOT TWENTY-THREE
This guy is a product of our pick from the Dvoark dispersal last fall. Dark cherry red in color with the little angus head that a lot of people love. Good cow family behind this guy who will work in a lot of different environments. Heifer safe
LOT TWENTY-FOUR
I’m not going to lie we weren’t sure what to do with this guy at birth because of how young he was and we are sure glad we chose what we did! For being 3 months younger than some of the other pen mates in the group he hasn’t held back. Big time growth, productive dam, and real world performance.
Lot 25
LOT TWENTY-FIVE
Here is a rare opportunity and honestly when Tyler said he was going to put her on the sale I thought he was joking. There isn’t many females that get offered out of 287C and its for good reason. I would love to show you what her 5 year old sisters are doing and what you will have to look forward to. She is broke to tie so whether you decide to jackpot with her, or ad her to your donor arsenal either way it’ll be a win.
Lot 26
LOT TWENTY-SIX
A heifer that I really like. Phenotypically she’s hard to fault, she is smooth as silk, super feminine front third, with a robust middle and is wide in her pin set, stout to the ground and has an awesome set of runners under her. She is one with big time potential and can move the needle which ever way you decide to take her.
