Dear valued customers, friends and neighbors,

We are glad to welcome you to the 55th annual bull sale. I apologize for it taking me so long to get this catalog put together. I think I would rather do anything than this.. Sitting down in front of a computer is not my best sport. With that being said I think we have the information put together now and the bulls look dang good.
(Two months ago I wished they were all steers and I didn’t have to do this... ) But.... I look at these bulls and think that would have been a big waste of great genetic potential. Alex and my dad, (and the rest of us heat detecting gathering and the rest of the stuff that goes with it ) have been AIing cows for lots and lots of years putting together some of the best genetics you can find in this cow herd.
I want to say a few words about having this sale on line the way we do it. People say why don’t you have an auction. Here is the benefit to you for doing it this way.
1. The videos are done the same way as when you go to an auction sale and watch the screen. But, here your favorite bull is still available clear to the end of the sale and you don’t have to say “Man I wish I would have bid on that bull they sold 1st .” That bull is still there to bid on.
2. You can bid in the comfort of your own home or driving down the road.
3. You can come look at the bulls any time you want to .
4. You are not being run by a ringman . You are in total control of this bidding process.
5. DV Auction has been great to work with from the customers to working with us. We really appreciate that.
With all that being said we have several bulls in the same sire groups . Put some half brothers together and make your calves uniform.
One last thing I have to say. I really have spent some time studying the Stone Cold sons in this sale and the heifers in the replacement pens and the ones that are now in the cow herd. All I can say is there are very few holes in these as a sire group. They are nice sized when they are born, they grow, they have great dispositions , I really like the look of them . I hope you do to.
We have also been watching what our customers calves have been doing at the local sale barns and wow.... Many sale toppers.... Very happy for them.
Thanks again for your interest in this group of bulls . You won’t be disappointed . They are worth the wait.
