OPTIONAL
BULL WARRANTY
All Mushrush bulls are guaranteed for Breeding soundness, Structural soundness, and disposition (see terms and conditions). If you would like to add coverage for injury or death of your bull, you may purchase the optional Mushrush Ranches warranty. We would like to emphasize that this is not insurance (like that purchased through a broker), rather an additional service offered to our customers.
• Coverage is good for a period of 5 months following purchase.
• Cost is 5% of the purchase price paid at settlement and in the event your bull is permanently injured or dies, you receive credit towards the purchase of another bull in the amount of the original purchase price minus any salvage.
• Details and limitations are available upon request.
HAULING REBATE
Bring your trailer to the sale and receive a $100 rebate per bull. Any bull(s) destined for a state that requires a Trich test to enter will be tested, at our expense, but will not be able to leave sale day. You may bring your trailer back within 7 days of the test results to receive your haul rebate. There is no trucking rebate on the females.
FREE CARE
In lieu of free trucking, buyers may leave bulls in our care, at buyer’s risk, until December 1, 2025 at no charge. Cows and heifers may remain till November 1, 2025 at no charge, to allow for trucking arrangements to be made. If pick up is not made by the applicable deadline for cattle type, feed and board will be charged at $5 per head per day.
DELIVERY
We offer free delivery on bull purchases for the first 300 miles and free delivery anywhere in the continental U.S. for total bull purchases of $35,000 or greater. Delivery for purchases under $35,000 but over 300 miles will be charged as follows:
- 301 thru 500 miles = $150 per bull
- 501 miles and up =$150 per bull + cost over 500 miles prorated among bulls on load
Please provide a facility where we may unload, sort, and reload. If unable to, please make an arrangement with a neighbor, salebarn, etc. We make every effort to get your bulls as close as possible, usually right to your place. However, because some deliveries are made with a 53’ ground load or pot belly trailer, we may consolidate deliveries to one location in the general area. On some long distance deliveries, we may ask you to meet our truck to lessen the time animals are in transit. Please have other cattle near unloading area so bulls are not alone. All deliveries and injuries are at buyer’s risk unless the optional Bull Warranty has been purchased.
Cows and heifers are FOB Strong City, KS, but we can help arrange delivery at a reasonable cost.

The seller, at his option, may either refund the purchase price to the buyer or provide credit towards purchase of a replacement animal. We have examined all pedigrees and performed DNA testing on individuals or pedigrees deemed susceptible to possessing a known genetic defect. THENEXTSTEP INOURRANCHVISION
Over the past several years, we’ve been open about the big changes happening here on the ranch. From converting cropland to cool-season perennial forage, to implementing virtual fencing, and even pursuing an aggressive embryo transfer program—every decision has been made with one goal in mind: to increase our ability to offer a larger selection of age advantaged bulls to our customers in both our Spring and Fall sales. This sale represents one of the final steps in that long-term plan.
The path to this sale began years ago. Historically, our herd has run about 55% Spring calving and 45% Fall. With a larger than-normal embryo project, we set out to grow the number of Fall-calving cows. Today, those efforts have produced a strong group of young Fall heifers coming
into the herd. To make room for them, some of our Spring cows must go.
As a result, every Spring-bred cow over age five and carrying a heifer calf is included in this offering. This wasn’t an easy decision—truthfully, we were hoping H049, the dam of Select Sires’ newest Red Angus bull, would be carrying another son. Instead, she and her heifer calf sell.
We’ve also used some of our very best sires in these matings: Ultra Kool 86H, for example, has consistently produced standout females, and several of his future daughters are represented here. Our old donor A083 is also in the sale pen—a rare chance to tie into proven foundation genetics, as she is a paternal half-sister to the legendary Julian B571. Also for sale is a group of 18-monthold, forage developed bulls. These bulls
have had the opportunity to spend the summer on Flint Hills range where they have developed into fit hard bulls. We are committed to not only offer cutting edge genetics, but to deliver them in a bull that will last your operation for many years to come. With cattle prices at record levels, getting a return on your investment is as important as ever, and we are committed to making bulls that will last.
This sale reflects more than the next step in our ranch vision. It’s a carefully considered offering that gives buyers access to the kind of genetics we’ve built our program on. For anyone looking to add proven maternal strength, elite sires, and long-term value, this is a unique opportunity—coming at a great time to be in the cattle business.

BUILT ON TRAITS TO KEEP YOU
Lot 1
Our 2025 Fall bull sale offering starts with a set of half-brothers by Mushrush Icon F765. No sire group has had as much positive impact on our program in the last 5 years, and our lead-off bull could set us up for the next 5 years or longer. Lot 1 is linebred Impact and comes by his better than 1% Fertility EPD honestly; his dam maintains a 371-day calving interval. If you share our focus on building cow herds for sustained profitability, Lot 1 is the highest $Ranch bulls we’ve ever offered.
If you like them sound footed and powerfully built, make sure Lot 2 is on your short list. He’s loaded with cow herd traits, fertility and feed efficiency and comes with a little more performance than some of his half-brothers.
Almost a mirror image of his half-brother that sells before him, Lot 3 is stout, athletic and balanced. He will deliver more pounds of calf at weaning while still allowing you to keep his daughters.
Here’s another Icon son that combines excellent cow herd traits with breed leading Feed Efficiency (F:G). His dam maintained a 373-day calving interval and had her 4th calf 3 weeks prior to her 5th birthday.

This Jocko son earns his superior growth EPDs the old-fashioned way, by besting his contemporaries at weaning, yearling and ADG with ratios of 107 across the board. His Impact dam maintained a 370-day calving interval and 4 calves with an average ww ratio of 104.
If you’ve got a lot of heifers to breed, check out Lot 7. He’s age-advantaged alright! He’s a true 2-year-old and a calving ease specialist that dominates for Feed Efficiency. We sure like the idea of unassisted births and buying less feed to market the same or more pounds of beef, and that’s just what this stout Icon son brings to the table.
Here’s a half-brother to the good Hollywood son that sold a few lots back and Lot 9 makes a strong case that the sale order could be switched. His highly fertile dam maintains a 362-day calving interval over 8 calves.
Lot 11 begins a run of “sleep-all-night” calving ease bulls. If you have a large number of heifers to breed, these older, leaner, more athletic Age-Advantage bulls will cover more heifers, cover more ground and produce a higher breed-up.
Lot 15 turned an unspectacular 79 lb. birthweight into big time ratios of 112 weaning and 110 yearling. His 2-year-old dam earned a 105 MPPA by the time she was a 3-year-old. CEDBWWWYWMilkHPGCEMMarbREA

We sell calves by the pound but buy feed by the ton. Lot 16 will change that math in your favor, producing more pounds of calf with less feed – thanks to his Feed Efficiency (F:G) EPD that ranks in the top 1%.
Our Fall 2025 sale is loaded with bulls that excel for $Ranch, and Lot 17 is one of the best! In fact, the average of our entire bull offering averages in the top 5% for $Ranch. Selection for $Ranch over time will create conservative sized cows that don’t eat all the profits, improved breed up, and ultimately more pounds of calves weaned per acre.

Here is a bull that promises to improve your bottom line by bringing more pounds to market. He also stays in bounds with moderate size and adequate cow traits.
If you’ve got cows to breed, take a look at Lot 29. Another high $Profit and $Ranch bull, he’ll produce more pounds with less feed while keeping mature cow size in check.
Another calving ease specialist that has more to offer than just low birth weight. He puts together a complete profile with his top 2% $Ranch, superior fertility and high marbling scores.
Just because we are near the end of the sale, that doesn’t mean these final bulls don’t have plenty to offer. Lots 33-38 rank in the top 4% for $Ranch and best 3% for Fertility.
What a great way to start off the registered cow sale! Lot 101 is versatile with her complete EPD package and phenotype. Her pedigree keeps future breeding options completely open. Imagine the possibilities of what she could do in your herd!
Similar to the lead off cow, Lot 102 has loads of potential. Balanced EPD’s, a history of putting sons through our sales, and a pedigree that will allow you to breed her to just about anything. She’s safe in calf to J117, an outcross bull for us. The first calves were just weaned and we have been happy with them. This is another opportunity to buy two great females in one purchase.

There is no better example of a cow we wish would have been bull bred this year than Lot 103. The success of her progeny has been remarkable. Her first bull went to Ole Farms in Canada, her second calf was the high selling U Pick’em heifer to Young Red Angus in our 2024 spring sale and her third calf is the newest addition to Select Sire’s Red Angus offering. Top Secret will be a go to heifer project AI bull this fall and next spring. These Forager sired cows have worked great for us and are an outcross to about anything in the breed. We flushed her this Spring, and is the type of cow we would take 100 daughters out of!

Lot 104
Lot 104 is an outcross donor in our program. She goes back the 0102X a highly maternal bull that originated at the Crowfoot program in Canada but served many years with Ole Farms. She is one of the most phenotypically striking cows in our herd and has averaged 15 embryos on three flushes.
We told you we weren’t holding anything back and Lot 105 is another example of a cow we wished would have been bull bred. When Santiago DeBernardi visited us this summer, he declared H044 to be the best cow in our program. With superior eyeappeal, top 3%HB and top 10% $ranch, this is a cow to build a program around. Not only has she averaged 7 embryos on three flushes, we flushed a daughter for the first time this Spring.

Many in the breed will tell you that B571 was one of the most maternal bulls to shape the breed. Many sons and daughters have made an impact on the breed, however this is a much more rare opportunity. A083 is a HALF SISTER to B571 out of the old Julian 7526 sire. This pedigree simply doesn’t exist in the marketplace today. On top of that, she is a proven 107mppa cow, that hasn’t missed -- putting multiple sons through our sales over the years. A maternal powerhouse ready to keep producing. At preg check, gestation length was not far enough along to determine calf gender. Therefore, this cow sells with calf sex undetermined.
