12 TH ANNUAL HERD BUILDER SALE
March 28, 2026 | 12:00 PM | At The Ranch, Strafford, MO

It is TIME to invite you to join us for our 12th Annual Herdbuilder Sale!
“Time” has been on my mind a lot lately. As a kid, my Grandpa Fred would tell us when we were heading out on an FFA trip or to a hog show to “have a big time”. Like many of you, it seems there is seldom enough time in a day to accomplish all the work for the day. As our children keep growing, I’m reminded that the TIME I have to invest in them over the next few years is of the utmost value and cannot be wasted. I value the TIME we have with family and friends, and I challenge you to make the most of the TIME you have.

I believe in cows that DON’T WASTE MY TIME! Our cowherd has a simple but important job description: have a good disposition, breed back quickly, raise a quality calf each year without assistance while being structurally correct with a quality udder and performing on fescue. Females that don’t get that job done are time wasters and they end up working on the retail beef side of our industry.
The bulls have been developed slowly on a high-roughage ration to be rugged and fertile with longevity and endurance built in. They exemplify our commitment to creating maternally oriented cattle that possess carcass merit. The demand for Red Angus influenced replacement females is at an all time high! These bulls will produce excellent daughters while generating steers that will grow and provide high-quality carcasses. This set of bulls is consistent throughout for quality, docility, and performance.
The females in the offering come straight from the heart of our herds. These females will raise the highest value calves you have ever seen – we believe they are an incredible investment. Please don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions or to schedule a pre-sale visit to view the cattle. We are looking forward to “having a BIG TIME” on March 28th and hope you will join us.
Steven, Jamie, Eli, Ethan, and Whitley Rogers Jim and Jan Lile
But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.

Make no mistake; POPULAR VOTE had our attention from day one. In this incredibly high-quality and consistent set of bulls, he has continued to lead the pack through weaning and our rigorous development process. His dam and granddams are some of the best cows walking our pastures. Powerfully constructed from the ground up, he flawlessly combines performance and phenotype, while reading extremely well on paper. POPULAR VOTE exemplifies our persistent focus on maternal traits and carcass quality. PROS TOP 2%, HERDBUILDER TOP 8%, GRIDMASTER TOP 5%. Big hipped, big footed, big bodied. Cast your vote and take him home!

Some events make a lasting impression in our lives. Some bulls make a lasting impact in our herds. Over the years, there have been sires that revolutionized our cow herd and advanced us toward our goals. We believe this stud can be a TURNING POINT for his new owners. Flawless phenotype, great running gear, big topped, wide-based and deep made with more frame than most PATRIOT sons. His young dam is big-middled, slickhaired, and attractive designed. Top 7% ProS, 13% HB, 15% GM. Big-time herd bull prospect.

ROGERS PATRIOTIC 509 2949 BROWN PRA PATRIOT G6291
LACY CENTERPOINT 448 025F
ROGERS BEAUTY E722 ELI BEAUTY E722 J856

Another son of PATRIOTIC 2949, this stud is rock-solid calving ease. Combining the maternal greatness of MS EDGE D6045, LACY LAKOTA 8105, and going back our foundational Red Rose 313 cow family, here is a bull whose daughters will thrive in fescue country and beyond. And don’t miss the top 5% MARBLING with a 17 CED. He’s Show-Me-Select qualified for heifers. Masculine, deep and wide bodied, with an attractive look while traveling well. It is hard to match this much power and calving ease, but HEY DUDE, he gets it done.

If you have liked the PATRIOTIC 2949 sons so far, here is his full brother. BY DESIGN was our effort to replicate the powerful mating of PATRIOT and MS EDGE 6045 (we call her 509 and she gets her feed cubes whenever she feels like it). Dark red with great running gear and he checks all the boxes for genetic predictions: 2% ProS, 6% HB, 10% GM, 13 CED. Study the flexibility and muscle shape, added bone, depth of rib and body width and shear masculinity. If you need a heifer-safe bull that can put pounds on the ground at weaning and those valuable replacement females back in your herd, don’t go home without one made BY DESIGN.
Here’s a powerful, experienced 2-year-old MERLIN H404 son that will flat out inject marbling and weaning weight into a set of calves. TOP 2% for MARBLING! Combine that with his top 7% Maintenance Energy and here’s one that will make high-value steers and easy keeping replacements. Masculine, yet clean fronted on a good set of feet.

If you like a bull that is long made and dark red, step up here. High carcass value and a 75 pound birth weight. Top 8% ProS, Top 3% GridMaster, he brings real-world value to your program. Another experienced breeder, he is ready to get cows settled in a tight window. Long bodied with plenty of muscle shape

Outstandingly versatile bull! Meets Show Me Select calving ease EPD requirement and also well suited for cows with his excellent growth and carcass merit. He adds pounds at weaning with high marbling and carcass weight. Exceptional on all 3 selection indexes (for replacements, maternal , and feeders). Gentle, masculine, impressive. He exemplifies our commitment to cattle that excel in carcass quality while maintaining a quality phenotype.

Moderate framed bull that brings growth and carcass merit as well as long lasting , fertile females. A high indexing bull ranking Top 7% ProS, Top 5% HerdBuilder. Appropriate for use on cows. His dam is a thick, gentle, fertile cow, sired by Red Hill Julian 84S, that has worked well for us. His sire, ALC REMEDY K60 is making an impact across the country and here’s your chance to inject these fresh genetics into your herd.
MS SLEEP EASY E817
Sometimes you go with your gut making mating decisions. We’ve never utilized LORENZEN INSIGHT as much as we should, and this stud proves it. Arguably the cleanest fronted bull in the offering, this stud is big hipped and attractive. He packs a punch with Top 4% ProS and Top 2% GridMaster. His dam is a larger outlined cow, the granddam of Lot 1, and she has a refined, attractive udder. This bull can be used on any female in the offering.

These PATRIOTIC 2949 sons are so consistently good from every angle. Wide-bodied, excellent running gear and designed to make exceptional replacement heifers. I could go on and on about the cow families backing his heritage, but I’ll just say if I was Noah, this guy would have been a contender to make it on the ark. He’s a low input, high growth bull with width and power.

Our disciplined approach to breeding considers not just EPD’s, but body type and bloodlines, and things that you can’t find on paper. Sired by SENECA, out of our FLATLINER G916 cow that continues to impress as she keeps cranking out high-caliber progeny, this stud is going to be a building block that will complement the PATRIOT and MERLIN sired females in the offering. Not that his EPD’s are lacking – Top 30% or better for WW, YW, MILK, & STAY, look for him to sire incredible, easy-fleshing females that you won’t want to part with. TRUST THE PROCESS.

A ¾ brother by blood to Lot 11, this is the calving ease bull of the pair. His granddam is still working hard for us as a 13-year-old with a flawless udder. No surprise there, as she is from the RED ROSE 313 cow family. Use him on those heifers and you’ll want to keep every daughter. Show-Me-Select qualified.

Back into a set of the percentage bulls, this MERLIN 404H son will catch your eye. Powerfully made, clean fronted, big boned and the easy keeping kind. He is Top 5% WW, Top 13% YW and is right on target for MILK and MAINTENANCE ENERGY. He’ll work on cows and those bigger heifers. He’s complete from every perspective.

Masculine, big bodied bull that moves well. He is Top 9% GridMaster, Top 24% HerdBuilder and his carcass EPD’s are second to none. Here’s a front-pasture kind of bull that will make your neighbors jealous at weaning time. Softer made and flexible, look for him to be a long-last herdbull.

Big time growth, BIG time Marbling – Top 1%! His extra length and big hip stand out. Study his performance and structure and you’ll be impressed. Plus he’s a -4.6 for birth weight. He’ll sire calves that come easy with explosive growth. Four generations of AI breeding back this impressive bull.

Calving Ease deluxe! Top 5% calving ease out of this PATRIOT son. He’s got the look and presence of a real beef bull. Not only is heifer safe, he is Top 2% HerdBuilder and Top 5% ProS. He’s Show-MeSelect qualified for heifers. I don’t advocate going on vacation during calving season, but it could be an option if he’s covered your heifers.

Outlier for growth and performance, this Red SimAngus bull combines a 148 ProS with outstanding WW & YW. His dam is an ultra-productive cow that is the right size and type for fescue country. He’ll be a slick hided, easy keeper and his calves should push down hard on the scales at weaning. Big boned, big footed and long as a rope with powerful muscle shape. We recommend him for use on cows. And we recommend you get ready to keep his daughters.
HXC
Here’s a percentage bull out of PATRIOT. We really like how he has performed as a late-October calf. His 13- year-old granddam continues to impact our red baldy program. He’ll big a big-framed power bull to use on cows. Big time WW & YW EPD’s and solid carcass traits.

Junior nationals is more than just a cow show. Our boys spent the week with good friends and good cattle and competed in all the leadership contests at the Red Angus Youth Expo.

Here’s a moderate-framed, calving ease stud out of the great female maker ANDRAS EXECUTIVE ORDER! Top 3% ProS, 6% HB, 11% GM and that 16 CED have got to get your attention. Great disposition on this bull as well. The bottom side of his pedigree combines PATRIOT with the VERNICE cow family that has worked so well at Windrush Farm. Excellent growth and carcass merit. He’s Show-Me-Select qualified for heifers.

Another stud from the VERNICE cow family. Long, deep, very balanced bull. High indexing for ProS, HerdBuilder, and GridMaster with excellent growth and carcass merit. Sired by ALC Infinity H26, a high growth and carcass bull that the Andras family have also used. Appropriate for use on cows. Likely the best ADG EPD in the offering.
Here’s one we are awfully excited about! He is a PATRIOT, out of the dam of SENECA. Talk about a genetic opportunity. Heifer-safe calving ease, Top 5% ProS, 3% HerdBuilder and all with adequate growth and performance. We love his shape and dimension, and his fluid movement. After we bought SENECA, we knew we had to own his mother. She was a great producer for us and her udder remained flawless through age 13. You’ll love the longevity on the calves from this stud.

We knew we would sacrifice EPD’s when we made this mating, but we are very impressed with the big top and performance of this bull sired by KNOCKIN’ BOOTS out of SUN GALL 2122, again the dam of SENECA. He’s the kind that has excellent pre-weaning growth, but will make those moderate, attractive females that last a decade plus.

Not only does he have a masterful EPD set, but he has a commanding presence and look. Heifer-safe, Top 3% ProS, 10% HB, 8% GridMaster. Look at the WW & YW EPD’s too. I challenge you to find another bull that combines PATRIOT with MULBERRY. His maternal brother sold to Beau Porter last year and has done a great job for them. His picture doesn’t do him justice, you need to study him in person for sure.

Another PATRIOT son that indexes like a rock star. We planned to show this bull for our friends Scott & Marcus Martin as Scott is doing mission work in Iceland. While he never quite got used to the halter, he does have the look and power we’ve come to expect from PATRIOT sons. Top 4% ProS, 19% HB, and Top 4% GridMaster. If you need calves to weigh big at weaning (and who doesn’t), here’s one to put to work in your operation.

Wow! This bull will catch your attention and keep it. Powerfully constructed, great disposition, and massive in his design. Excellent calving ease prospect with an incredible -3.8 BW to 75 WW spread. X-FACTOR FN 181 should “factorin” to your operation. GridMaster excellence in an attractive package like this is hard to generate. Masculine bull that will move any commercial operation in the right direction. He’s Show-Me-Select qualified for heifers.

Big bodied, soft-made and dark red. Here’s a calving-ease MERLIN H404 son that will replicate the power and mass of his sire as he matures. Another combination bull that provides calving-ease, growth, and carcass merit in a very appealing phenotype. Deep sided with loads of capacity.

Designed to combine the extra frame of his prolific dam with the moderation of stature and bone of SENECA, this November-born bull will add length and power to a set of calves. He’s got the calving ease and growth to work on either heifers or cows. Don’t miss his big WW & YW projections; he’ll make you proud of calves at sale time.
Powerfully constructed, moderate-stature bull with plenty of maternal heritage. It is all about cows that thrive on fescue and the cow family behind him excels here. Heifer-safe, study how he carries his big top shape down into his thick quarter.

This SENECA calf also traces back to the RED ROSE 313 cow family. If you need a pair
bulls, I’d grab him and Lot 28. Plenty

An embryo calf out of OUTFRONT and our D762 donor, this bull’s maternal granddam is the legendary BROWN MS ABIGRACE L7730. Long made, big topped and rugged in his design, he is an ELITE calving-ease bull with a Top 3% CED. OH, and he is Top 3% for MARBLING, too. A rare combination and an intriguing pedigree for sure.

Maternal sibling to Lot 31, here is another calving-ease bull that is low-intake and easy keeping. If you have heifers to breed and want to make calving season easier, this bull is an easy choice. I think the maternal combination of ABIGRACE L7730 with SUN GAL 2122 will create valuable replacement heifers, too. A
son we have ever seen. Backed by the
you know he is made for fescue

Here is a powerful bull designed to generate pounds of performance. Top 5% WW, Top 2% YW and still a -1.1 BW. Out of one of Jim’s favorite cows and sired by GROWTH STOCK, this bull is Top 13% for the GridMaster carcass index and Top 11% for ProS. Study his power, and remember he is just a December-born bull.

Another calving-ease bull that goes back to ABIGRACE L7780, sired by the growth and carcass beast GROWTH STOCK. 18 CED, -4.9 BW and still in the Top 10% for WW. Use him on heifers, then you’ll keep him around to use on cows. He’s Show-Me-Select qualified for heifers.
INVESTOR is an ET calf out of GROWTH STOCK and one of the biggest middled, slickest-haired cows we’ve ever raised, JIBA A36. An old-school pedigree, he still is Top 26% ProS and combines calving-ease with carcass merit and growth. Live calves that grow are what pay the bills in any cow calf operation. INVESTOR will generate high value steers. The lone white-faced bull in this year’s offering, his dam cranks out calves that hit the ground growing. She has a 104 MPPA on 10 calves, and she is still working hard for us. Recommended for use on cows, he’s not just a pretty face. Solid

& YW EPD’s, long-made with plenty of muscle shape. Closely
a pair of bulls.

Eye catching, masculine, dark hided purebred yearling out of PHC GRAVITY 001K. We are impressed by his fluid movement and power combined with his depth and bone. Don’t miss the bottom side of his pedigree which includes 4MC THE COWBOY WAY 970, who has created productive, attractive cows that work very well in fescue country.

If you need a pair of closely related, purebred bulls, this set would be hard to separate. Both sired by PHC GRAVITY 001K, this stud is out of the granddam of Lot 38. Talk about consistency in type and kind. Here is a rugged made, big boned calf that will work on cows or heifers. The BLOCKANA cow family is beyond proven to make the keeping kind.

A PATRIOT son out of the ever productive KRENNA BELLE. If you want a moderate-framed, high libido bull to use on heifers, I’d look him over hard. Top 17% ProS, Top 11% GM, and a 13 CED, he’s sure to make replacement females. He is probably under weight since he spends everyday trying to prove he’s the toughest bull in the pen. He needs some girlfriends for sure.

The last natural calf of our go-to bull producer over the past 12 years. His dam, BROWN MS PRIDE Y7734 not only produced leadoff and high selling bulls since our very first sale, she continued to do so through 14 years of age. Full sibs to this stud are making their mark at Zell Farms and for Brad Amos. We believe so highly in this unique mating of PATRIOT with Y7734, that we used his brothers intensely in our AI matings this past fall. This stud did have to fend for himself a bit as a calf since she was injured while raising him. He has continued to exemplify the power, carcass and growth, and structural quality we’ve come to expect.

Here’s another PATRIOT son, and what a bull! Top 2% ProS, 6% HB, 8% GM. We believe that hitting these marks is a good indicator of bulls that hit a lot of the things that really matter. He’s a lowermaintenance bull that still adds performance and style with big bone and good running gear.
We are looking forward to the day we can offer the first JK Hysteria progeny. Ethan and Hys had a fun run and racked up a Reserve Divsion at RAYE, 2 Supreme and 1 Reserve Supreme Female at county fairs, Champion % at Steers and Stripes, and 2 Congress Division wins. Special thanks to the Geyer family!

Here’s MERLIN son that is powerful for WW & YW & carcass merit. MERLIN H404 continues to produce these performance oriented sons that will cover a bunch of cows and add value to a set of steers on sale day.
This MERLIN son checks the box for heifer-safe calving ease, and then some. He also is one of the best combination bulls for HerdBuilder and GridMaster, indexing Top 8% for ProS.
I’m very impressed by this yearling bull due to his length and muscle. I’m most impressed by his disposition; he’s about as easy going as they come, but he’s not in-your-pocket friendly either. When a person spends as much time with bulls as I do, disposition matters. Add to that his ProS and GM numbers and he’s one I’d highly recommend.

Sired by LSF SRR RANCHER 0110H, this bull brings real-world profit to the herd. Heifer-safe calving ease combined with impressive index values: Top 8% ProS, Top 22% HB, Top 10% GM. It’s hard to beat his Marbling and Calving ease combination. He’s Show-MeSelect qualified for heifers.
Another RANCHER SON, this bull excels at WW & YW, while being a lower maintenance, easy keeper. Recommended for use on cows.
Here’s an X-FACTOR son that will make those good steers that grow quick and earn a premium. Top 13% GM, combined with heifer-safe calving ease. From a high-quality, consistent cow family. He’s ShowMe-Select qualified for heifers.
These X-FACTOR sired bulls will work great on heifers and cows. Here’s one to retain daughters on, Top 30% ProS, top 20% GM. He’s Show-Me-Select qualified for heifers.

It seems only fitting to round out the bulls with a high-indexing PATRIOT son. With over 800 registered progeny,

Lot 52 A BROWN MERLIN H404 5 units of semen
Lot 52 B BROWN MERLIN H404 5 units of semen
BROWN MERLIN 404H (4360773) is the sire of several standout bulls in the offering and has matured into a powerful, balanced, big foot bull that produces exceptional calves. Safe to use on heifers, he is in the Top 11% for WW & YW and Top 13% GridMaster.

Lot 53 A BROWN X-FACTOR J454 – 5 units of semen

Lot 54 A ROGERS RESOLUTE K606 – 5 units of semen
Lot 54 B ROGERS RESOLUTE K606 – 5 units of semen
RESOLUTE K606 (4822203) was the lead-off bull in our 2024 sale to Brad Amos with 50 Gate Farms. We are extremely impressed with his first calves for their length and early growth. A PATRIOT son out of an incredible EPIC 397K daughter, he boasts a 13 CED along with being Top 7% for WW & YW. Top 5% ProS, Top 1% HerdBuilder.

Lot 55 – WOF ANNIE Z96 ( 1564100) X BROWN PRA PATRIOT G6291(4141830) EMBRYOS. 3 conventional embryos, with a 4th embryo as a guarantee.
WOF ANNIE Z96 came to us from the Andras program and has been a relentless producer of quality, maternal-oriented cattle. As a 14-year-old, she is raising her 12th calf and has bred back. This mating will yield outstanding calving-ease, carcass merit, and impressive index values.

Lot 56 – BROWN MS PRIDE Y7734 ( ) X BROWN PRA
PATRIOT G6291(4141830) EMBRYOS. 3 conventional embryos, with a 4th embryo as a guarantee.
MS PRIDE Y7734 was an elite producer for us. Her progeny have been highlights from our very first sale. She injects power and carcass merit into her calves. This mating with PATRIOT has proven to produce high-indexing calves that meet the demand for carcass traits, longevity and pounds at weaning.

Feminine, well-constructed daughter of GMRA TRILOGY, she carries center body mass and structural integrity. In her prime, she continues to maintain her condition, raises calves with consistency and possess a maternal presence that signals years of production ahead. The granddam of Lot 2, you can see the quality she passes on through her offspring. Ethan purchased ELLIE 746 and her daughter in 2022. Frankly, he needs to fund his show-heifer budget or this fabulous cow would not be offered. Impressive November-born bull calf at side by PATRIOT, exposed to DUFF RED OAK 2227 for a fall 2026 calf.
Beautifully designed, dark red, with balance, depth, and structural correctness. She is a big bodied, powerful young cow with incredible days ahead. A sister to MLK CRK FIVE STAR 2232, the up and coming herdsire for Rogers Ranch and JS Ranch, this cow has excelled on fescue, maintaining her condition while posting a 105 MPPA on her first 2 calves. She has an impressive, September-born OUTFRONT daughter at side and she is pasture exposed to DUFF RED OAK 2227.
The quality of these fall pairs is elite. This cow has done a tremendous job raising calves for us since we brought her to fescue country from Milk Creek Reds in 2022. She exudes femininity. Clean fronted, big middled, with a beautiful udder and strong maternal ability. We are blown away by our calves out of LASO NO LIMITS G130L, and I wanted to offer at least one of his progeny in this sale. RED TOP 725 has a September-born heifer at side by NO LIMITS, and is exposed natural service to NO LIMITS and DUFF RED STATE. If you want in on the first calves from our newest herdsires, here is your chance.

These bred and open heifers are hand picked from large contemporary groups and developed with longevity and genetic value in mind. All females are evaluated for tract scores and pelvic measurements and meet our strict standards for replacements.
Fifteen head of fall-bred commercial heifers. AI bred, then pasture exposed to DVR calving-ease herdsires to start calving in mid-August. Complete breeding information on sale day. Will sell in groups based on due dates and sires.
Commercial open heifers from the heart of the replacement pen. Wormed, poured, vaccinated and MultiMin 90 in February. Ready to breed, tract score information available sale day.
