KJHT RECLUSE 1140

REFERENCE SIRE - LOTS 1-5

We are extremely excited to be offering the first set of bulls sired by Recluse in the 2026 P2P offering. Recluse adds that extra shot of frame length, body dimension, and the breed has been looking for, while maintaining a very moderate birth weight. The type that makes order buyers sit up and take notice. A powerhouse that commanded judges and breeders’ attention during his short tenure on the show road after being named Iowa State Fair Grand Champion by Jake Scott of Krebs Ranch, Gordon, Nebraska. Recluse is breeding true to his phenotype and power-stacked pedigree that runs deep. With numerous requests, we have decided to keep semen off the open market to date. Every daughter has been retained to date.

BCC CREED 976H

REFERENCE SIRE - LOTS 14-18

In a short period of time, Creed 151 has proven himself to be a reliable herd bull adding consistency, muscle shape, base width, and structural quality. A unique combination of top donor females from the outcross Weaver Angus Missie, Brown Miss Revelation, and James Montie, his extended pedigree is a culmination of many maternal foundation legends. Creed had a fun run on the tan bark. Analyzed by many of the top judges as complete, with no holes to pick a hole in him. He had no hair; there was no fluff or wow factor. Just a real-world bull. We are more excited about what he has done in the breeding pasture. Calving ease consistency, capacity with wide pin sets, and dispositions second to none.

REFERENCE SIRE -

LOTS 19-23

“You don’t buy a herd bull; you buy the cow family behind the bull.” This has been a breeder quote that has treated our program well over the years. In 2022, we made a road trip to our good friends and longtime Red Angus Breeders, the Scott Taylor Family, in Tennessee. Hannah had aged out, and Carter was looking for a female for his final year showing as a junior. Scott had a heifer we needed to see. While down there, we ran across two bulls, both going back to the Paint Bucket Cow family. We stumbled into Ritz & Recluse. The first conversation we had when heading back home was that, if we did not end up with the show heifer, we needed to own one of those two bulls. Ritz was offered in the 2023 P2P. It was noted that he was the most complete sire they had seen offered in the 2023 Red Angus Spring Bull Sale season. Ritz stamps his calves with that extra look, bone, quiet disposition, wide-based and chucked full of muscle, with a deep, square foot, big testicular development, & his daughters’ udders are perfect. The 3 sons in this offering are a true testament to the breeding potential of this bull. A unique opportunity that we are thankful to have with the Taylor family.

CINCH H37

“You buy a herd bull when you see one, not when you need one.” A quote I kept in the back of my mind yet never executed on it. In 2021, I attended a sale to stay current with new offerings and see what I could find, with no intention of buying anything. We ran into H37, he was as widebased, deep-sided, with that added pin width and dimension, big dark foot with growth in the top 3 percent, a true outlier that day. Ray Charles could find this guy. Backed by two proven sires PIE Cinch and Andras Fusion we rolled the dice not knowing much about the cow family. We got lucky the first sons offered in the 2024 P2P were well received. He stamps them just like he was made extra deep, with natural body width, adding that extra skeleton to hang those additional pounds. Daughters are now in production, and udders have turned out well. He will never make a show heifer, he is a true commercial man’s power bull that will produce a stout set of feeder cattle and easy-keeping brood cows with a big tank for our fescue environment.

BCC NEXT UP 715J

Our choice to carry on the C9CC D852 Next and the BLOCKANA legacy and dammed by the BCC Duette 230F. Has proven himself to be a four-star sleep-all-night calving ease specialist. Proven calving ease that we anticipate in time, with additional data in the RAA database, the CED will be 15+ or higher.
