All bulls will be 100% guaranteed against injury and death through September 1st. All bulls have the following information: Semen Tested, Ultrasounded, Birth Weight, Weaning Weight, Yearling Weight, EPD’s, Scrotal Measurement, and Average Daily Gain (ADG).

Feed

Bulls are fed a 2 1/2 - 3 pound a day feed ration. They are not fat and are ready to go to work.

Welcome to our 42nd Annual Bull Sale!

The feeder calf market continues to set all time high price records. With weigh up bulls also bringing record high prices it is a good time to trade in your old bulls for young bulls with some new genetics. New this year are sons of Kraye Big Country 0179 and Pine Ridge Resilient L07 who is owned with Norman Angus. Both of these bulls show a lot of promise and we have calves on the ground by both again this year. The bulls are raised with the commercial cattle producer in mind. They are fed no supplemental feed during the summer and must rely on their dam’s milk and grass. If we get some much needed moisture we could have another banner year.

There will be heifer bulls, moderate framed maternal bulls and larger framed growth bulls at this sale. The bulls have been culled for performance, structure and semen tested. Only the top bulls make this sale with none held back. The bulls are out of a cow herd that are required to calve every year and have a 70 day breeding season. All open cows are sold as weigh ups. The cows are fed dry hay during calving and one AI cycle and grass the rest of the year. The cows are also culled for bad udders, feet and structure problems and poor dispositions. The bulls are guaranteed through the ﬁrst breeding season or September 1st. If a bull dies or gets injured contact us as soon as possible. If available, we will replace them with another bull or you will get credit for the purchase price minus the salvage value at next year’s sale.

We would like to welcome you to our 10th annual bull sale in conjunction with Oetken Angus. We sure hope the bulls that you purchased in the past sales have worked and continue to work for you. Selling with Oetken's has been a great opportunity provided to us by Keith and Lori, and we truly thank them for allowing us that. Our programs have very similar philosophies, and you will see many of the same sires and much of Oetken's genetics in our cattle pedigrees. This bull offering features some of the best bulls that we've ever raised and we are very excited to bring them to you. These bulls were all raised north of Crawford on gumbo grass and have NOT been crept-fed. They and their mothers have done it all on their own. The bulls this year were weaned the 1st of September this year then hauled to Brent and Georganne Shaws the end of September. These bulls since then have been penned, fed, vaccinated, and performed right alongside Oetkens.
