GREETINGS FROM EVERYONE HERE AT T&E ANGUS AND M.K. ANGUS!

We will be holding our first live production sale on Sunday, March 1st at 2:00 p.m. CST. This is a change from our usual Bid Off Sale, but we are excited to move our program forward to the next level. Cattle will be available for viewing any time after 9:00 a.m. until sale time at the T&E facility, with the sale to follow at Beck’s Old Barn.

Kurt & Kristen Kuhn

What an exciting time to be in the cattle business. We are experiencing the highest prices for feeder cattle that any of us have ever been a part of. With that said, we want to provide you with genetics to give you, the producer, the most pounds and profitability that is possible. We are excited to have a powerful set of bulls for sale this year. They have all been developed right here on the ranch using feeds that we raised with longevity, functionality and soundness in mind. These bulls are built to provide you with practical, predictable performance and improve your herd — not to mention your bottom line. Sires include: Sitz Eternity, Ellingson Brickhouse, Coleman Below Zero, Myers Fair N Square, as well as owned herd sires MK Drifter, MK Relevance, and Ellingson Iceman.

We are also offering 10 powerhouse heifers, straight out of our replacement pen. These heifers represent a cross section of the genetics used here at T&E and Mr K. It stings to let these go, but we want to provide great brood cow prospects to you, our customers.

You will still be able to view the videos and be able to bid sale day with our friends at DVAuction. We here at T&E and Mr K are dedicated to using the latest information and technology to help us improve your program. We try to provide as much information as we are capable of in making your selections.

We want to thank all our past customers for their continued support of our programs. We look forward to meeting new friends and customers as we strive to provide top-quality Angus genetics. Feel free to stop by anytime and view this year’s offering. We want you to be as confident as you can be in your purchases.

Sincerely,

Travis & Emilee Kuhn Family

Live Auction!

SUNDAY, MARCH 1, 2026

We are extremely excited to start this year’s sale offering with a new and exciting sire group Sitz Eternity and we leadoff the catalog with another standout. 532 is the natural calf of the great 8120 cow. This bull has been a standout since birth, he’s clean fronted, heavy boned with great muscle expression. 532 was one of the top WW bulls coming of his dam at 792 pounds for a WR 109. His phenotype is second to none in this sale, while also being backed by 3 generations of pathfinder cows.

This marks the 3rd consecutive year that 8120 has produced the leadoff bull in our catalog. She has multiple sons and daughters working throughout the country, including a daughter that produced the high selling bull in the 2025 Dubas Angusbull sale. This pathfinder dam has a BR 5/105 WR 5/108 YR 4/105 and her influence will be seen throughout this catalog.

564 is arguably the best herd sire prospect ever produced at T&E and we have been waiting the whole year to introduce him to the public. As you look at his incredible EPD profile that combines calving ease, big growth from weaning to yearling, excellent foot scores, high $values as well as being a highly maternal bull. The physical presence to this bull is second to none, it’d be hard to find a bull with his length, width, muscle mass, bone density, and depth of body in a calving ease package.

His dam is a modest hard working Angus cow with an almost perfect udder, posting a BR 6/100 WR 5/107 while maintaining a calving interval of 352 days on 6 calves, with both her daughters being retained in the herd. What’s also exciting about 564 is his grandam is non other than M K Chloe 511 who has been the most influential cows in our herd with 56 reported progeny. At 11 years of age she is still the matriarch of our cow herd, as you will see her or her daughters show up multiple times throughout this catalog.

Yearling Angus Bulls

T&E ETERNITY 546

Here’s another impressive stout made calving ease bull with a big hip and plenty of growth to him. This guy is deep body and chucked full of muscle. Look for him to leave behind functional, easy fleshing daughters as well. His young dam is an excellent producer with BR 3/104 WR 3/110 YR 1/111 with a calving interval of 372 days on her first 3 calves. She also had the high selling heifer in our 2024 sale.

Stout Made, Calving Ease Bull!

T&E ETERNITY 528

Yearling Angus Bulls

Excellent Eternity son here with an admirable EPD profile. This guy is big barreled, dense made, square hipped and carries as much volume as any bull. The Eternity x Coaltrain turned out to be a great mating. 528 has an excellent cow making pedigree behind, keep every female out of this guy as I believe they will be outstanding. Coaltrain daughters are quickly rising to the top of our herd for their mothering ability, udder quality and overall functionality.

M K ETERNITY 565

Man In

Big time growth and performance bull here, as he carries the highest WW EPD in the offering and a YW in the top 3%, while also having outstanding carcass merit and $ values. He should carry a little more frame than most eternity’s. 565 had an actual WW 828 coming of his 3-year-old dam for a WR of 121. His dam is also a full sister to M K Drifter, with a BR 2/107 and WR 2/115.

Here’s a bull that is just absolutely balanced across the board, combines calving ease, adequate growth and has that look that Eternity stamps his calves with. His dam is as consistent as they come with a calving interval of 366 days on 8 calves.

T&E ETERNITY 571

Just another no holes moderate framed Eternity son that does a lot of things right physically and on paper. Lots of cow power behind him too as his dam is a maternal sister to M K Coaltrain.

These heifers are the cream of our heifer crop, and represent the cross section of sires we are using. We believe without a doubt these heifers can go anywhere and make a major impact on anyone’s herd.

We are extremely proud of this heifer, and she is coming directly out of the heart of our herd. She combines style and productivity, that is clean sharp fronted, with a wide smooth top and a big-time hip on her. She has the real brood cow look. Really hard to fault her pedigree as well, with tons of proven cow maker bulls backing her. I believe this heifer can go into any herd and make an immediate impact with lasting longevity. Her mother is off to a great start, this being her first calf with BR 1/105 WR 1/110.

She also has two incredible cows in her pedigree M K Chloe 511 and T&E Miss Katie 606, both of which have numerous daughters working throughout the country as well as in our herd.

Real brood cow in the making here, long bodied heifer that is smooth shoulder with great extension through her front. 551 is just very complete in her make up.

M K MADGE 548

Deep ribbed, with lots of capacity and stamped with that Brickhouse hip. Extra performance breed into this gal too. Lots of longevity in her pedigree as her mother has BR 4/100 WR 4/108 and her granddam remains in production at 15 years of age.

M K JEAN 451

Maternal oriented Brickhouse heifer in a moderate framed package with a lot of eye appeal. Her 12-year-old dam has been a mainstay in our herd, never missing an AI date with a calving interval of 363 days on 10 calves. She has 3 daughters retained in the herd and has had a son used extensively in our program.

The Kuhn Family

American Angus Association $Value Indexes

Dollar value indexes, or $Values, are a tool used to select for several traits at once based on a specific breeding objective. An economic index approach takes into account genetic and economic values as well as the relationships between traits to select for profit.

Maternal Weaned Calf Value ($M), an index expressed in dollars per head, predicts profitability differences in progeny due to genetics from conception to weaning. $M is built off of a self-replacing herd model where commercial cattlemen replace 25% of their breeding females in the first generation and 20% in subsequent generations. Remaining cull females and all male progeny are sold as feeder calves. Increased selection pressure on $M aims to decrease overall mature cow size and improve foot structure and fertility while maintaining weaning weights consistent with today’s production.

Weaned Calf Value ($W), an index expressed in dollars per head, provides the expected difference in future progeny preweaning performance from birth to weaning. $W assumes that producers retain 20% of their female progeny for replacements and sell the rest of their cull female and male progeny as feeder calves. Over time, increased selection pressure on $W will increase weaning and maternal milk traits while also continuing to increase mature cow size.

Feedlot Value ($F), an index expressed in dollars per head, is the expected average difference in future progeny performance for post-weaning merit compared to progeny of other sires. The underlying objective assumes commercial producers will retain ownership of cattle through the feedlot phase and sell fed cattle on a carcass weight basis with no considerations of premiums or discounts for quality and yield grade.

Grid Value ($G), an index expressed in dollars per carcass, is the expected average difference in future progeny performance for carcass grid merit, including quality and yield grade attributes, compared to progeny of other sires.

Beef Value ($B), an index expressed in dollars per carcass, facilitates simultaneous multi-trait genetic selection for feedlot and carcass merit. $B represents the expected average differences in the progeny postweaning performance and carcass value compared to progeny of other sires. This index assumes commercial producers wean all male and female progeny, retain ownership of these animals through the feedlot phase and market these animals on a quality-based carcass grid.

Combined Value ($C), an index expressed in dollars per head, includes all traits that make up both $M and $B with the objective that commercial producers will replace 20% of their breeding females per year with replacement heifers retained within their own herd. The remaining cull heifer and steer progeny are then assumed to be sent to the feedlot where the producers retain ownership of those cattle and eventually sell them on a quality-based carcass merit grid.
