All heifers have been officially calfhood vaccinated and sell open. They have had one round of pre-breeding shots. All bulls have been semen tested and physically examined by Griggsville Veterinary Clinic. All bulls were ultrasounded by CUP Certified Russell Coon, Bethel, MO. Health papers will be available for immediate delivery. All registered animals selling will be free of AM, NH and CA by pedigree or by testing negative. None of the bulls selling have ever been haltered. They have run in one group of 70 plus since weaning in August, 2012. The 50 plus sale bulls were separated from the entire group in January. Pictures were taken in December by Andy. Bulls were put through the chute with picture side of the animal cleaned and clipped. The yearling heifers ran without creep feed until 30 days prior to weaning in September. They were picked for the sale in December from 70 plus heifers for pictures. They are green halter broke.

Breeding Guarantee
In our 2012 sale Rutledge Farms, IL, bought MA Blackcap 1056-1214 with calf at foot sired by BT Final Product for $4,250. At their annual sale held in November the heifer calf sold for $5,500, giving them over 120% return on their investment. At our 2011 sale Panther Creek Ranch, IL, purchased M A Black Lass 385-46 with bull calf at foot sired by MCATL Finality for $6,100. In their spring 2012 sale they sold the bull calf for $13,000, topping their sale, giving them an over 200% return on their investment. Varley Angus, IA purchased Miss Forever 19G with bull calf at foot for $2,250 and the bull calf topped their sale giving them an over 200% return. This success is not to mention many sons and daughters of cows sold through our sale that have been marketed as value added breeding stock.
We guarantee that all the cattle sold through the “Pick’em in Pike” Sale, both bulls and heifers, are fertile to the best of our knowledge. Bulls selling for more than $2,500 sell with breeding guarantee. If a bull is found to be functionally infertile during the first breeding season, we will provide you with a satisfactory replacement (if available), or issue you a credit equal to the bull’s purchase price minus the salvage value of $1,600. If an open heifer is determined to be a non-breeder, then we would ask you to sell or return her and would offer you the difference in her purchase price minus the salvage value as credit in an future “Pick ’em in Pike” Sale. All cows selling with calves or examined pregnant will carry their own guarantee. We would suggest that normal care needs to be exercised toward these cattle and particularly that the yearling bulls are not allowed to get too thin. All claims must be made by September 1, 2013. Heifers shown or prepared for show are not guaranteed to breed.
