WINTERING OF BULLS
Bulls are kept free of charge until May 1st
DELIVERY
150 miles free delivery on bulls. Bulls will be semen tested around April 1. Anyone picking up their bull between April 1 - 15 will receive a $100 bill. Delivery will start after April 15. Note Canadian buyers – RBM will do testing needed at the buyer’s costs. Bulls will be available to be picked up at RBM after testing is completed.
LIABILITY
All persons attending this sale do so at their own risk.
SEMEN INTEREST
RBM Livestock will be retaining one-third revenue sharing semen interest in all bulls selling. This means if we would like to collect semen on the bull for our own use, we would have the option to do so. Also, if semen is sold we would retain one-third revenue. The new owners of the bulls will have full possession and full salvage value.
MISSION
We want to be a part of your team to help market your cattle. We have developed numerous contacts with feed yard/farmer feeders over the past decades. Don’t hesitate to call and tell us when and where your are marketing your RBM genetics.
GUARANTEE
All bulls will pass semen evaluation prior to delivery. Bulls selling for $4,000.00 or more will be covered if injured. A replacement bull or sale credit will be given. “ QUALITY GENETICS
A lot of folks are talking about record bull prices, and rightly so. The cattle market has pushed to historic highs in 2025, and it’s good to see seedstock producers, who’ve been fueling genetic progress for commercial cattlemen, also being rewarded.
That said, when you step back and look at the data, it tells an important story. Even though average bull prices are the highest we’ve ever seen, bulls are still undervalued relative to the current market landscape. Right now, the average bull still costs roughly 2.5 feeder calves, which is below long-term norms.
In other words: Bull prices are high, but bull value, relative to feeder calf prices, remains discounted
Genetics remain one of the best long-term investments any producer can make. Even at today’s prices, the market is still telling us that bulls are undervalued relative to the return they generate.
