All cattle sell under the standard terms and conditions of the American Simmental Association. Available upon request.
We will be selling 100% possession and reserve the right to retain 1/3 semen interest on all bulls selling, with the option to collect 100 units for in-herd use only. This will be done at the seller’s expense and the buyer’s convenience. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Homozygous Black All calves will be black if mated to a black or non-dilutor red cow.
Heterozygous Black If mated to a nondilutor red cow ½ the calves will be black and ½ will be red.
Homozygous Polled All calves will be polled.
Heterozygous Polled If mated to a horned cow ½ of the calves will be polled and ½ will be horned.
Non-Diluter If mated to a heterozygous black cow, ½ the calves will be black and ½ will be red. If mated to a homozygous black cow, all calves will be black.
Diluter If mated to black cow, you might get a grey calf.
TO THE 2026 EMERY RANCH PRIVATE TREATY BULL SALE
Thank you for your interest in our 2026 private treaty offering. We’ve been selling private treaty bulls for a couple years now and we hope to be able to offer more bulls each year.
The bulls have been grown on a 48 Mcal ration. They are on a Vitafirm mineral program. We DNA tested all the bulls with enhanced EPDs. All the bulls are tested for homo polled, homo black, diluter free and parent verification. We are keeping the right to collect semen on all the bulls for in herd use. All vet work is done by Dr. Tim Kruse from the Wetonka Vet Service.
