SPRING 2018

ATTENTION NINJA WARRIORS: NEW PLAYGROUND FOR CASULA Casula Parklands is set to be transformed into South West Sydney’s most exciting adventure playground, with an 8-metre tall Sky Walk, tunnel slide, flying fox and ninja obstacle course. Construction of the $4m project near Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre will begin in late September 2018. “I’m so excited about this development – this will be the best adventure playground ever built in Liverpool,” Mayor Wendy Waller said. “Not only is this great news for the residents of Casula, but people will come from miles around to enjoy it.” The 15-hectare site along the Georges River will also include an off-leash dog park, sculpture walk, picnic facilities, accessible play area, toilet facilities and off-road parking.
