Although born in a small town in Georgia, Karla always had an adventurous spirit. At 18 years old, she went on a six-week language immersion program in Italy. There she met the love of her life, Luca. While Luca was visiting Karla in Georgia for the summer, they decided to get married and eventually moved to Italy. Read about why they settled in the Castelli Romani area and eventually left English teaching to form their own company.
