HARRIET ROTHKOPF HEILBRUNN SCHOOL OF NURSING Established in 1955, the Harriet Rothkopf Heilbrunn School of Nursing is the only university-based academic nursing center in Brooklyn. Students are prepared to address compelling health care challenges in the community and the nation through emphasis on experiential education, training, and simulation of nursing environments. In the high-fidelity simulation rooms, students are trained well beyond traditional techniques—involving a full practice of each situation and environment, and including case studies, mock scenarios, hospital-grade equipment, and patient interaction and diagnosis.

EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING
The Student Investment Fund provides an innovative experience for students to gain the skills needed to excel in the financial industry. Each year more than 60 student leaders earn their Bloomberg Certification and trade more than $220,000 in funds thanks to generous alumni support. In the past five years, LIU-iF boasts a 74% return on its investment.
Alumnus Ray Dalio '71 is a billionaire investor and entrepreneur, best known for founding Bridgewater Associates, which grew into the world's largest hedge fund. Dalio recently returned to LIU and met with senior partners in the LIU-iF Student Investment Fund, who had the opportunity to pitch their portfolio.

The Roc Nation School of Music, Sports & Entertainment's degree programs prepare students for a wide range of careers in performance, entrepreneurship, and all aspects of music, sports business, and management. Students will engage with university professors, alongside visiting guest artists and lecturers while participating in immersive internships, ensuring they graduate with both hands-on experience and a network of professional contacts.
