The taste of an ice cream takes me back to my childhood. Happiness may be momentary. My brush becomes a bridge, I can catch it before it fades. This act of preservation is the heart of my work.

Inside the cone, I hid my childhood companion a little plush dog that I had lost. The ice cream and that little plush dog were the sweetest tastes of my childhood. I try to reconnect my memories with the sweetness of the ice cream cone and the happiness it once held.
Through painting, I attempt to reconstruct the image of my little plush dog, placing it among meteors and imagined scenes.
After losing the little plush dog, I could no longer remember all its details. It was a precious companion. These elements represent my childhood in its gentlest and sweetest form. By retrieving these memories, I seek to make myself whole again.

There were many birds living in the trees near my room. They often made noise in the early morning. One day, I began to imagine the birds as gentle beings, doing many things like people.
I love the variations of watercolor.
Black ink and pencil gives my work freedom. Creativity changes the way I see the world.
Birds Days brings me imaginative joy. This work made me more aware of environmental issues and respect for life.
Observing the world through quiet wanderings
One day, I encountered a cat in the alley in front of my home.
I followed the cat on a walk, passing a wall and walking through a garden. The cat’s perspective was truly unique.
Kanakanavu and Hla'alua are the indigenous cultures in Taiwan. I used watercolour to construct my imagination of the legend. The Origins of the Legend of Kanakanavu talk about magical leaves becoming the ancestors of Kanakanavu. The Legend of Hla'alua is about Shell God and Dwarfs. These are all precious cultural stories of different ethnic groups on my home island. I do research on clothing and the environment in order to promote culture and remind myself of the importance of culture.
I love watercolour and use watercolour to preserve my favourite home scenery. Some places have disappeared, and I imagine and recreate the feelings in my memories again. We must cherish our environment.
