Jericho High School honored members of the Class of 2024 during commencement ceremonies on June 23rd. At its June 20 meeting, the Syosset Woodbury Chamber of Commerce presented scholarships to Victoria Lin and Michael Raminfard, both 2024 graduates of Syosset High School. These scholarships recognize their interest in business. Chamber President Russell Green, a proud Syosset High School parent, commented on the Debra Parisi Scholarship and introduced Raj Sahni, owner of Spice Hub Indian Fusion Grill, the event host. Spice Hub, a popular local restaurant, emphasizes fresh, madeto-order Indo-fusion cuisine. Sahni

expressed pride in supporting young achievers and presented the students with gift cards. Ironically Spice Hub is located immediately next to Signature Premier Properties Syosset office, where Debra Parisi, for whom the scholarships are named, worked as a Realtor before her passing in November 2020. Spice Hub opened in late 2022 and has become popular among Syosset, Woodbury, Jericho and Hicksville area residents who turn to the restaurant to satisfy cravings for Indo-fusion food. Free pool safety seminar The Town of Oyster Bay is partnering with Catholic Health to offer residents and non-residents a Free Pool Safety Seminar on Monday, July 8, at 1 p.m. at Marjorie R. Post Community Park,

located at 451 Unqua Road in Massapequa. Families are encouraged to attend as children under the age of 15 make up more than 78 percent of pool submersion injuries in the United States annually, with 67
