Wisdom Lane MS receives upgrades to athletic fields

Major revitalization project approved for Hicksville The Town of Oyster Bay has announced that the newest project in the ongoing revitalization of downtown Hicksville has been approved by the Town’s Planning Advisory Board, bringing more than much-needed new housing opportunities to the downtown. Town demolishes dilapidated house The Town of Oyster Bay demolished a long-vacant and deteriorated house on Carrie Avenue in Bethpage following years of legal proceedings and Town enforcement efforts. According to the town, it began receiving complaints about the property more than a decade ago. A major renovation project had been started but never completed despite numerous extensions granted

to the property owner. Over time, the partially constructed structure fell into a severe state of disrepair, creating ongoing concerns for nearby residents. “The Town of Oyster Bay is committed to protecting our neighborhoods,” said Supervisor Saladino. “This was a long and difficult process, but we remained committed to enforcing our codes and standing up See page 6
