We are proud to open our doors to the wider community and welcome the opportunity to share our outstanding facilities. Many of our spaces are available to hire outside of school hours and during holidays, offering the flexibility and environment you need to bring your plans to life.
We have ample parking spaces available across both sites, conveniently located near our facilities. In addition, outside our Performing Arts Centre, we have plenty of space to load and move equipment into our buildings efficiently, with no added stress.
We've hired the venue for many years and being a long-term hirer we continually appreciate the excellent facilities and reliable support. Parents love the clean, modern environment and it is always very welcoming. We enjoy being part of Lingfield College.
Sports Club Hirer
Auditorium
The Auditorium forms part of the Performing Arts Centre and offers a raised stage and flexible layout, making it ideal for large-scale events.
With capacity for up to 400 guests in theatre-style seating, this versatile space can be used for talks, conferences, exhibitions, fairs, performances, and more. The clear stage view, specialised lighting and sound, and retractable screen ensure a high-quality experience for both performers and audiences.
The space is available for hire during evenings, weekends, and school holidays. It connects easily to breakout areas, including the Dining Hall, Drama Studios, and Music Classrooms.
A smaller hall is also available on our Prep School site, seating up to 150 theatre-style, with a raised stage, adjoining drama studio and kitchenette.
Suite Barnes
Located on the upper floor of Le Clerc, a beautiful Georgian house at the heart of the Senior School, the Barnes Suite is a quiet and characterful meeting room that once served as a nun ’ s sleeping quarters.
Now thoughtfully modernised, it provides a private, professional space for board meetings, interviews, one-to-one sessions, and exams. Seating 6–8 people boardroom style, the room features contemporary furnishings, bold design accents, and is equipped with a screen and whiteboards.
Individual workspaces are also available, making the Barnes Suite a versatile option for focused, small-group use.
Lecture Theatre
Located in the Sixth Form Centre, our Lecture Theatre is a contemporary, tiered space that accommodates up to 150 guests. Designed for talks, training, conferences, and panel discussions, and is equipped with integrated AV, projection, and sound for a high-quality delegate experience.
For breakout sessions or informal networking, the theatre opens directly into The Atrium Café - it’s an ideal space for serving refreshments, hosting informal discussions, or providing a relaxed space between sessions.
AUDITORIUM
This venue is available for hire during evenings, weekends, and school holidays, with optional access to adjacent classrooms or meeting rooms.
Classrooms
With natural light, scenic views, and space for groups of up to 25 people. Many are equipped as Smart Classrooms, with projectors, whiteboards, and integrated technology. Whether you're running a workshop, tutoring session, or weekend club, these modern and functional spaces provide the ideal setting.
Specialist Rooms:
Cookery Classroom
A fully equipped teaching kitchen with 12 individual workstations, including eight cookers and ovens. Ideal for cookery clubs, class demonstrations, workshops, or enrichment sessions. Includes aprons, tea towels, dishwashing facilities, crockery, cutlery, and glassware.
IT Suites
Four fully resourced suites. Each includes a projector, Apple TV, and colour printer.
Meetings &Training
Whether you ’ re hosting a board meeting, training session, or keynote presentation, Lingfield College offers a range of versatile meeting spaces across the campus. From formal tiered seating to private discussion rooms, each space is equipped to support a professional, productive event.
Music Centre
Situated on the upper floors of the Performing Arts Building, Lingfield’s Music Centre offers a dedicated and inspiring environment for music tuition, rehearsals, and ensemble work.
This specialist space includes a range of rooms to support both individual and group practice, with pianos available throughout and a soundproofed drum studio for percussion sessions.
The Library
Situated on the ground floor of Le Clerc House, the Library is a beautiful, dual-aspect space filled with natural light from large Georgian-style windows overlooking the school lawns.
This impressive room retains its original charm while offering a versatile environment for workshops, training sessions, and intimate talks. Its calm atmosphere makes it ideal for book clubs, professional and educational use.
With flexible layouts and a quiet location within one of the school’s most characteristic buildings, the Library is a popular choice for smaller gatherings that require focus and inspiration.
Drama &Dance Studios
Our dedicated Drama and Dance Studios offer flexible, well-equipped spaces ideal for rehearsals, performances, workshops and creative classes.
At the Senior School, we have two purpose-built studios in our performing arts building, featuring studio curtaining, basic sound and lighting, and an adaptable layout.
Our Dance Studio at Prep offers sprung flooring, mirrored walls, and blackout curtains - ideal for dance, yoga, and fitness. All studios are available for hire during evenings, weekends, and school holidays, and can also serve as breakout spaces for larger events held in the Main Auditorium or Lecture Theatre.

Prep Dining Hall – The Woodland Café
Inspired by the natural world, the Woodland Café is a warm, characterful space with a British wildlife-themed mural, skylights with cloud designs. These beautiful features of the room create the perfect family friendly environment.
Ideal for community and family events, parent gatherings and school-hosted dinners, this space brings a relaxed and welcoming feel to any occasion. The adjoining kitchen and serving hatch make it fully equipped for catering.
