MEALS ON WHEELS VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Meals on Wheels is needing volunteers to help deliver meals to our senior community! With a long waitlist, they are adding 160 seniors to existing routes along with opening new routes. A route takes about one hour to deliver. Bring a smile, a friendly check-in, and a sense of connection to homebound seniors in our community.
Delivers can be done by individuals, groups, or companies! A group can serve anywhere from 1-5 days per week depending on availability and could tradeoff between employees. Having additional volunteers and company partners will make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors in our community.
Head to magutah.gov/volunteermow for more info and to sign up today.

ACTIVE AGING

WHAT IS ACTIVE AGING?
Newton’s First Law of Motion is “an object in motion stays in motion.” So let’s get moving!
Research shows that if you start living a healthy lifestyle earlier in life, you have better chances of staying healthy as you get older. Staying physically active, eating well, socializing, and improving your health can help you live a healthy, happy, and active life as you get older.
This is a wonderful time of year to get out and enjoy the beautiful mild weather. Take a walk around the block and soak in the sunshine and fresh air!
ACTIVE AGING CALENDAR
Check out the calendar for the Lindon Active Aging Center. If you want more info on our Active Aging Services including daily lunch, stop by the Lindon Community Center or reach out to Jamie Jensen at jjensen@lindon.gov. You can also find all updates at LindonRecreation.org/senior-center.
