LINDALE INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT HIRES NEW ELEMENTARY ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL
The Lindale Independent School District is pleased to announce the hiring of Mr. Taylor Jarman as the new assistant principal of Velma Penny Elementary. “It is a privilege to be able to join the incredible staff and administration team at Velma Penny Elementary,” said Jarman. “I look forward to serving our students alongside such distinguished educators.” Jarman is about to complete his tenth year of teaching with Lindale ISD. He has taught 5th grade science and social studies at E.J. Moss Intermediate School and he has served as the Lindale High School theater director. “Mr. Jarman has been an excellent employee of Lindale ISD for many years,” said Superintendent Stan Surratt. “His love to help young children set him apart from other candidates for this position. The students, parents, teachers, and staff members are going to love Mr. Jarman as their new assistant principal at Velma Penny Elementary.” Jarman earned his Bachelor of Arts from Stephen F. Austin State University and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Texas at Tyler.
