Jennifer Suzanne Interiors

As the boundaries between indoors and outdoors continue to blur, 2026 is shaping up to be the year of the thoughtfully curated garden. No longer simply a patch of lawn or a collection of seasonal flowers, today’s garden has become an extension of the home—a place designed for relaxation, entertaining, wellness, and self-expression.

The latest garden styling trends embrace comfort, sustainability, and personality, creating outdoor spaces that feel as inviting as a beautifully designed living room.

T HE R ISE OF O UTDOOR R OO m S

One of the biggest trends for 2026 is the concept of outdoor zoning. Homeowners are creating distinct areas for dining, lounging, cooking, and even working. Pergolas, decorative screens, and strategically placed planting schemes help define these “rooms”

while maintaining an open-air feel.

large modular seating, weather-resistant rugs, and statement coffee tables are replacing traditional garden furniture, creating spaces that rival indoor living areas in both style and comfort.

N ATURE -I NSPIRED CO lOUR PA l ETTES

This year, designers are moving away from stark monochrome schemes in favour of earthy, grounding tones. Warm terracotta, olive green, sandstone, clay, and rich chocolate brown dominate outdoor styling.

These colours blend effortlessly with natural surroundings and create a calming atmosphere. Accents of deep aubergine, burnt orange, and muted ochre add sophistication while reflecting the changing colours found in nature.

S USTAINAB l E lU x URY

Sustainability remains a key influence, but in 2026 it is being interpreted through a lens of luxury and longevity. Consumers are investing in high-quality materials that age beautifully, such as reclaimed timber, natural stone, recycled metal, and handcrafted ceramics.

Furniture crafted from responsibly sourced wood and eco-friendly textiles offers both durability and elegance. rather than following fast-changing trends, homeowners are choosing timeless pieces designed to last for years.

W E ll NESS G ARDENS TA k E C ENTRE S TAGE

The garden is increasingly viewed as a personal sanctuary. Wellness-focused spaces are becoming essential, with dedicated areas for meditation, yoga, reading, or simply

unwinding after a busy day.

Water features, sensory planting, aromatic herbs, and soft ornamental grasses help create tranquil environments. lavender, rosemary, jasmine, and chamomile are particularly popular choices, adding fragrance and promoting relaxation.

S TATE m ENT Pl ANTING WITH A N ATURA l T WIST

Formal planting schemes are giving way to a more relaxed, naturalistic approach. inspired by wild meadows and ecological landscapes, gardens feature layered planting that appears effortless while remaining carefully designed.

Tall grasses, perennial flowers, and pollinatorfriendly species create movement, texture, and year-round interest. Biodiversity is no longer just a sustainability goal, it has become a defining aesthetic feature.

S CU l PTURA l lIGHTING

lighting is playing a more prominent role than ever before. Beyond functionality, outdoor lighting is being used as a design statement.

Architectural lanterns, portable rechargeable lamps, hidden leD strips, and sculptural floor lights help create atmosphere after sunset. layered lighting allows homeowners to transition seamlessly from daytime relaxation to evening entertaining.

T HE O UTDOOR kITCHEN Ev O lUTION

Outdoor kitchens continue to grow in popularity, moving beyond the traditional barbecue setup. in 2026, integrated cooking stations, pizza ovens, preparation areas, and stylish storage solutions are transforming gardens into fully functional entertainment spaces.

Natural stone worktops and textured finishes ensure these installations complement the overall garden design rather than appearing purely utilitarian.

C URATED ACCESSORIES AND A RTISAN D ETAI l S

Personalisation is becoming increasingly important. Handcrafted planters, artisan ceramics, outdoor artwork, and bespoke furniture pieces add character and individuality.

rather than filling spaces with multiple decorative items, designers are favouring carefully selected statement pieces that tell a story and reflect the homeowner’s personality.

lOO k ING A HEAD

The defining garden trend for 2026 is simple: creating outdoor spaces that feel intentional, comfortable, and deeply connected to nature.

Whether it’s a compact city courtyard or a sprawling countryside landscape, successful garden styling focuses on blending beauty,

functionality, and wellbeing.

As our homes continue to evolve, the garden is no longer an afterthought it has become one of the most important rooms of all.

tiPS for a Smooth houSe move

With July and August being the uK’s most popular months for moving house, we’ve asked local Certified Professional Organizer (CPO®) Katherine Blackler at SortMySpace ltd for her top tips to make moving day as smooth as possible.

D EC lUTTER!

use your forthcoming move as a chance to review what you really still use and enjoy in your life and what you’ll realistically need and want in the next chapter. Paring things down now saves you time and money in removal company costs.

Pl AN AHEAD:

mEASURE YOUR E x ISTING FURNITURE

ensure items will fit into the new space. if you can get access to your new home in advance, use masking tape to mark out on the new floors your current furniture’s footprints where you’d like them to be situated. Then try walking

around the space to ensure your everyday routes would flow easily. You can do the same planning on graph paper with floorplans but you’ll need a bit more imagination to envision if there’s enough space to walk comfortably around.

lABE l CONSISTENT lY.

it might make more sense to you to reference the new layout personally eg Jessica’s bedroom, Guest room, Home Office etc rather than Bedroom 2, 3 & 4. Make it easy for the removal team to also know where Jessica, your guests and the computer is destined to live by also affixing signs (with the same references as the carboard boxes) to each door in the new place.

U PDATE UTI l ITIES

understand what’s expected of you to disconnect your current utility supplies. Create a list of relevant account numbers and phone numbers or websites to submit final

electric, gas and water meter readings on the move day. You should also take opening meter readings for the new property and submit these to that supplier. Some telephone, internet and TV services can be transferred to your new property. Contact the home moving team of each supplier 4-6 weeks beforehand to understand their processes and allow time to effect the switch.

S PECIA l A RRANGE m ENTS

identify any perishable food, household plants and any family members and pets that cannot travel in the removal vans and work out how you’ll transport them safely on the day. Keep a bag or box with you on the day for essentials including moving paperwork, phone chargers and cables, critical medicines and some drinks and snacks. Keeping the kettle and tea/ coffee supplies, cold drinks and mugs handy will be well received by the removal team!

mEA l P l ANNING

At least 4 weeks before moving day, stocktake what’s in the cupboards and freezer and create a meal plan to steadily dwindle down supplies ahead of the move day. ideally you want to be able to defrost the freezer a few days prior to the move to avoid unnecessary leaks when you turn the power off and leave the house.

U PDATE OTHERS

There will be various suppliers and contacts to update your new address with but you can also set up a royal Mail forwarding service for 3, 6 or 12 months to catch any contacts that you’ve overlooked. This will prevent sensitive data landing in the wrong hands.

KaW interior deSiGn – brinGinG beSPoKe KitChenS CloSer to home

it’s now six months since KAW interior Design reopened its newly refurbished showroom on lisle Avenue in Kidderminster, and the response from local homeowners has been fantastic.

Owner Kevin Walsh, who has over 20 years experience in designing and delivering highquality kitchens and interiors, is proud to be working with more clients across Hagley, Blakedown and the surrounding villages than ever before.

“Many people don’t realise we’re just a few minutes down the road,” says Kevin. “They often assume they need to travel into Birmingham or Stourbridge for a premium kitchen showroom, but we offer the same level of design, quality and service right here locally.”

KAW interior Design specialises in fully projectmanaged renovations, offering everything from initial concepts through to installation, using a trusted team of skilled trades. The focus is on creating beautiful, tailored spaces that reflect each client’s lifestyle, without the inflated costs often associated with larger national retailers.

“We bridge the gap between bespoke design and realistic pricing,” Kevin explains. “Customers are often pleasantly surprised at how competitive we are when comparing

like-for-like quality.”

To make projects even more accessible, KAW interior Design now offers flexible finance options, including 0% interest plans or alternative low rate financing, helping customers spread the cost of their investment.

The process starts with a free design consultation and home survey, either in the showroom or in the comfort of your own home, whichever works best. From there, Kevin and his team guide each project through every stage with a personal, handson approach that has become the company’s hallmark.

Following a successful series of Neff cooking demonstrations earlier this year, which attracted homeowners from across the local area. KAW is continuing to build its reputation not just as a showroom, but as a destination for inspiration.

“As a local business, everything we do is built on reputation,” Kevin adds. “We live and work in this area, so every project really matters.”

if you’re considering a new kitchen or interior project, KAW interior Design invites you to visit the showroom, or arrange a home consultation and discover what’s possible right on your doorstep.

underStandinG the CauSeS of hearinG loSS

Hearing loss can affect anyone, at any age, and for a multitude of reasons. At our family run clinics Hear in Hagley, Hear in Wombourne and Hear in rubery we believe that understanding the causes of hearing loss is the first step towards effective management a better quality of listening life. While some causes are unavoidable, many can be mitigated with proper care and awareness.

AGE-REl ATED HEARING lOSS (PRESBYCUSIS)

This is the most common cause of hearing loss, affecting millions worldwide. As we age, the delicate structures within our inner ear naturally deteriorate, leading to a gradual decline in hearing sensitivity. Typically, highfrequency sounds are the first to be affected. These are responsible for clarity so often things will be loud enough but not clear so we often blame others for mumbling or speaking too quickly when in fact it's our ears that are the issue and not them!

NOISE-INDUCED HEARING lOSS

exposure to loud noises, whether from machinery, concerts, or even everyday activities like using power tools, can damage the hair cells in the inner ear. This type of hearing loss is often preventable by wearing appropriate hearing protection.

EARWAx BUIlDUP

While earwax is a natural protective substance, excessive buildup can block the ear canal and impair hearing. Please avoid using cotton buds or other objects to remove earwax, as this can push it further in. Our clinics offer safe, professional and effective wax removal services.

EAR INFECTIONS

ear infections can cause temporary hearing loss

and, if left untreated, may lead to permanent damage. Children are particularly susceptible to ear infections.

OTOTOxIC mEDICATIONS

Certain medications, including some antibiotics, chemotherapy drugs, and aspirin, can damage the inner ear and cause hearing loss. Always discuss potential side effects with your doctor.

FAmIlY HISTORY

in some cases, hearing loss is inherited. Genetic factors can contribute to various types of hearing loss, including congenital hearing loss (present at birth).

THE ImPORTANCE OF PROFESSIONAl AUDIOlOGY ASSESSmENT

if you're experiencing hearing difficulties, it's essential to seek professional help. At one of our clinics. Our experienced audiologists can conduct a comprehensive hearing assessment to determine the cause and extent of your hearing loss. We'll then work with you to develop a treatment plan, which may include hearing aids, assistive listening devices, or other interventions.

understanding the causes of hearing loss empowers you to take proactive steps to protect or improve your hearing. You can play a significant role in your hearing health. Don't hesitate to contact us at Hear in Hagley and Wombourne for expert advice and support.

CarerS iS imPortant

When I was in year 11, right before my mock exams, an unexpected event left me in care, which flipped my whole life upside down. I still remember the Friday, when I was lying in the hospital bed, drowning in my thoughts, worried about the type of people I was going to stay with, scared about how they were going to be, what will happen if they leave, so that’s why I will be talking and explaining to you why having good foster parents is essential for young people.

After experiencing what I did, it left me in a bad place, leaving me feeling alone, isolated and pessimistic. I felt like everyone in my life were bad people. On the car journey to my carers house, millions and millions of questions filled my mind, as if it was wiped blank. Walking out the car, I remember seeing Eric’s warm, welcoming smile. Entering the house, I was looking for a sense of belonging, a place to call home, but I didn’t? After a while, our social workers left, leaving us to get to know each other, leaving a sense of awkwardness floating in the air, I knew nothing about the people I was going to live with. Later that day, we went to pick Monica up, she wrapped me in her arms, I never knew how much I needed that and she’ll never realise how much it meant to me. For the first time in a while, I felt that maybe I could be loved, it gave me a glimmer of hope, when all I knew was a gloomy, dark place. It was like my empty, blank feeling had now been filled. My personal experience is enough to convince me that carers are absolutely essential in our society. Some key characteristics and qualities I think carers should have are patient, empathy, resilience, flexibility, kindness, acceptance, open kindness, calmness and consistency. Some essential skills I think are strong communication, teamwork, commitment, dedication, problem solving and asking for help.

Lastly, I would like to discuss why we need carers. Carers provide children like me a number of things including a safe, warm and loving place to live, which in my opinion is what all children deserve, food and water which is an essential to everybody. Not only do they provide things we physically need but also what we emotionally need. Before I came into care, my mental health was in a bad place, not only the stress from school about exams, but stress from home. Having a safe and loving place, really lifted a lot of stress from my soldiers. Teen years are essential in the process of development as it is in the years we are growing into becoming young adults, having good role models and a nice place to live can really impact, influence and motivate us to also want to achieve this in our lives, which is exactly what Eric and Monica have given to me. On the downside, the number of approved carers has dropped significantly since 2021, with only around 56,000 in England by 2024 ( a 21% decrease) highlighting a major shortage, meaning that’s 21% of more young children suffering and struggling with finding a place to call home and to feel safe.

Going back to the beginning of my speech, yes, I haven’t had the best start at life, but with the help of people around me, my life is starting to begin, but there is still many other children like me, still waiting for their beginning and I’m here today to be their voice. So if you are considering doing fostering, please do, because yes the number of foster parents is decreasing whilst the number of children in need of a home are increasing. Would you like to save a child’s life? Because becoming a foster parent is doing exactly that. I hope this has inspired you and helped you understand why having good foster parents is important.

relaxed WeddinG affair

it’s all about t he hen do!

The great thing about weddings today is that anything goes! Gone are the days when you were tied to tradition and had to have the seated wedding breakfast followed by speeches, toasts and cake cutting. Of course you can still do all this and done correctly this produces a beautiful and classical structure for your wedding day. However, what with the ever swelling guest lists and attendees from a varied mix of race and culture now all too common at weddings, Brides and Grooms across the country are opting for a more relaxed affair rather than struggling against the confinements of tradition.

Over the last few years communal feasting is now considered a perfectly acceptable, and let’s face it, novel way of feeding your guests, with big shared platters of food served on tables for friends and family to tuck into together. There has also been an increase in the “grazing style” of receptions such a cocktail & canapes, picnics or even gourmet BBQs all delivering non-fussy yet scrumptious food while your guests can mingle to their hearts delight!

So in reality, what with the acceptance of such a relaxed style of food service there now seems to be no rulebook about what or how you feed your guests. The only thing that you must assure is that there is enough food to go around and that it is easily accessible.

if you are considering a non-traditional style of wedding food then here are a few tips and considerations which hopefully will help you find the right style for you and your budget!

anyone for Cocktails?

This style of affair can be very glamorous and classy however not necessarily a cheaper option, so don’t forgo the three course meal thinking you’ll save money. One of the main factors here is the venue you have chosen. A cocktail wedding requires a certain style of furniture which the venue you have booked many not have. Poseur tables, bar stools and indeed more bars may need to be hired to style the space and create the right atmosphere which will heavily impact on your budget. Make sure there is enough staff to make and supply the cocktails as it will take some time for them to get around to everyone. Make it easy for people to help themselves with trays

of cocktails or simple flutes of fizz positioned at various points in the room so that people don’t have to queue.

Keep in mind your guest list size. With a sitdown meal you will be restricted to numbers simply due to the number of tables and chairs the venue can hold. Stand up receptions such as cocktail-style weddings will allow for a larger numbers in the venue but you’ll consequently need to feed more people, so it might just cost the same as a seated meal in the end.

Canapes & finger food

Pricing will vary depending on your caterer of course. You have to consider the time of day your reception is being held as this will determine the quantity of food you will need to supply to your guests. Think about portions, if you were to put all the canapés allocated per guest on a plate, would it be enough to make a meal?

it may be an idea to have food points scattered around the venue for the guest’s arrival to avoid people pouncing on the first tray of canapes that appear. Create food stations for guests such as a charcuterie, or cheese plate here and there to enhance the supply of nibbles being circulated.

occasional Seating

Cocktail style weddings are great for mingling but remember to supply occasional seating for the elderly and ladies in heels. Standing up in high heels for 8 hours will result in people kicking off their shoes (never good for wedding photography) or even going home early as they are in too much pain.

if you have elderly guests attending, they will be looking for comfortable seating options to mingle quietly rather than standing up all evening. A selection of comfortable chairs and even sofas would be perfect especially

when the disco is in full swing as people will need a breather!

Prepare Your Guests

Some guests may not have attended a cocktail style wedding before and therefore might be confused about what food will be served. it is always a good idea to make sure there is a note of this on your invites so your guests aren’t left wondering if they should be fasting or loading up their bellies before the event.

best of both Worlds

if you like the idea of a more relaxed format but think that canapes and cocktails wouldn’t quite deliver enough pomp & ceremony on the day then you could always merge the two styles. Have drinks and canapés served after your ceremony, giving your guests the opportunity to mingle, while you’re getting photos taken with your bridal party.

Then invite guests to a sit-down meal which can allow you to schedule in certain speeches, cutting of the cake etc. Why not try sharing platters if you want to keep it less formal. Then have a roaming dessert with different buffet stations situated throughout the venue or even go back to served canapes for sweet nibbles. You can always have your cake served at one of these stations with tea and coffee available.

alliSon WaS not onlY her SiSter-inlaW - She WaS anne’S beSt friend.

Anne has signed up to volunteer at Big Brum Bucket as a thank you for the care and support her sister-in-law Allison and her family received from Birmingham Hospice at the end of Allison’s life.

“I met Allison in sixth form” Anne recalls. “I’m terrible at maths and she failed maths - so we ended up in the same class. I always say to my children if they are terrible at something, it might turn out to be a blessing.

“She met my brother through me. She called the house phone one day and said: ‘I’m not calling to speak to you - I’m calling to speak to your brother.’ I was okay with it but I did make it clear if it didn’t work out, she would still be my best friend,” Anne laughs. “So it was a real added bonus that she ended up being my sister-in-law.”

Allison was a Staff Sister and ran the COVID-19 ward at Heartlands Hospital in Birmingham. Describing her caring nature, Anne said: “She was like Mother Earth - she was just built to be a

nurse, she scooped people up and looked after everyone.

“If my children had a scratch, she’d rummage around in her handbag to find something to put on it. If someone collapsed in the street, she’d step in. She kept adopting animals that needed a home and ended up with four rescue dogs!”

However, in 2022, Allison became ill and was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer.

As a medical professional, she understood what would happen as her illness progressed and decided she wanted to be cared for in a hospice at the end of her life. She knew the hospice would be best equipped to meet her needs and would take the pressure off her family.

While at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Allison was told she did not have long left and was transferred to the Inpatient Unit at Selly Park.

Anne recalls: “She was in a lovely room that

overlooked the garden, and within a day of arriving there, the old Allison came back as her pain was under control.

“She was so well cared for - she felt like it was her own family caring for her.”

Although Allison was initially thought to have only a few days left, she spent three weeks at the hospice.

“It was lovely that she was more herself during those final weeks and could spend precious times with her husband and daughters.” Anne said.

Since Allison’s death, Anne has continued to support Birmingham Hospice through fundraising activities including dog walking in exchange for donations and taking part in events.

Explaining why she’s signed up to volunteer at Big Brum Bucket this July, Anne said: “Family life is so busy, I can’t guarantee my time at the moment, but I can find a few hours for Big Brum Bucket.

“Everyone’s lives are so busy, but volunteering for Big Brum Bucket isn’t a huge commitment. Last year I really enjoyed talking about my experience of the hospice, the work they do and how they help people.”

Big Brum Bucket is Birmingham Hospice’s annual cash collection and will take place across the city on Friday 3 and Saturday 4 July 2026.

A NIGHT OF GIVING BACK

Nick and Royston recently joined Ampika Pickston for her charity gala dinner in support of Manchester and Cheshire’s Dogs Home. A passionate advocate for animal welfare, Ampika regularly hosts fundraising events that raise both awareness and vital funds for charitable causes.

The star-studded evening, filmed for an episode of The Real Housewives, took place at Northenden Golf Club in Manchester. faSCinatinG fort Worth, texaS ,

‘Where the WeSt beGinS’.

Texas is the second largest American state by area and population, and Fort Worth is known as the place ‘where the West begins’.

Today Fort Worth, known as ‘Cowtown’, attracts 9.4 million visitors annually and on arrival and bursting with enthusiasm i headed for the luxurious multiple-award-winning Crescent Hotel located on Camp Bowie Boulevard at the crossroads of downtown and the Cultural District.

Check-in procedures were swift and efficient and i was escorted to a luxurious one bedroom metropolitan suite measuring 717sq.ft. Features include floor to ceiling windows flooding the separate living room with natural light and the enormous and comfortable bed was just what i needed.

up with the larks and after a sumptuous breakfast i headed for the hotel’s spa. The Canyon ranch covers 11,000 square feet and includes steam and treatment rooms, steam showers and a plush private seating area. i relaxed in the steam room and was then guided to an opulent and spacious salon for my first class manicure and pedicure. Feeling suitably preened and deeply pampered i was ushered into an exquisite massage room and my first rate masseur ensured that all the stresses and tensions of my long journey

vanished and i was ready to explore the city.

For a taste of Texan culture and Fort Worth’s rich Western heritage i headed for the Cowtown Coliseum to attend a stunning performance of the Stockyard’s Championship rodeo at the home of the world’s first indoor rodeo. The only year-round rodeo in the world highlights this competitive, timed sport, which includes bull and ‘bronc’ riding, bareback and ranch saddle riding, roping contests and barrel racing. The sound of thunderous hooves and the sight of a magnificent bull bursting out of his holding pen with a very unwelcome rider on his back is overwhelming and the power of the beast determined to buck the equally determined rider off before he can reach his target of eight seconds is absolutely exhilarating.

Back at the Crescent hotel i decided to squeeze into my not-so-little black dress and i headed out to The Mont restaurant, located on Saint Amand Circle in Fort Worth’s Montserrat district. This impressive venue reflects the glamour of the 1950’s with diners surrounded by soothing mahogany and the comfort of plush leather and in the centre of the space is a striking bar with a bevy of tenders creating the most extravagant selection of cocktails. i ordered the succulent and tender Wagyu Short rib, presented with potato and truffle pave and the most delicious sauce

bordelaise. Accompanied by the Plumpjack Merlot this was a dining experience to savour and of course the service, as expected, was exceptional.

Seeking a casual spot to show off some sharp dance moves, i headed for Billy Bob’s, the largest ‘honky tonk’ in the world, which is located at rodeo Plaza, in the heart of Fort Worth’s Stockyards. This very popular venue offers a wide range of entertainment including ‘live’ concerts, bull riding (on a smaller scale to the Cowtown Coliseum), line dancing, pool tables and bars aplenty and i am not ashamed to reveal that after a couple of ‘shots’ i attempted my own version of line dancing and i might just have got away with it!

For my last day in Fort Worth i headed to the Stockyards, which in 1976, was listed on the National register as a historical district. i viewed the Stockyard’s daily cattle drive which takes place along exchange Avenue at 11.30 and 16.00 hrs. This spectacular parade of Texas longhorns herded by several drovers on horseback reflects the area’s history as an important livestock centre due to the arrival of railroads in 1876. After the parade i spotted an enormous bull, which was clearly tame, waiting patiently outside the livestock exchange Building and enthusiastic members of the public were queuing to get on his back. However, i was not one of them!

For my last evening in Fort Worth i headed to Panther City BBQ, located on east Hattie Street. This very popular casual restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere and i found a comfy perch and ordered the delicious Panther Punch cocktail, which has a champagne and vodka base. The tempting aromas emanating from the sizzling meats on the on-site smoker drifted subtly across the venue and i opted for the succulent brisket, with a side of dill potato salad. i was easily persuaded to try the ‘nutter butter’ cheesecake pudding and as my visit to Fort Worth came to a close i ordered another cocktail, raised my glass high and made a toast to this fascinating city.

Visit Fort Worth, and like me you’re sure to have a ‘swell’ time.

‘Top tip’ – Family attraction. Fort Worth Zoo, located on Colonial Parkway, dates back to 1909, covers 64 acres and is surprisingly simple to navigate. Now housing more than 7,000 native and exotic animals, representing more than five hundred species, Fort Worth Zoo is one of only five sites throughout the world to house two of the five rhino species (black and greater one-horned Asian rhino). Working actively with more than thirty countries around the world, conservation is the main focus and the zoo’s inspiring reputation ensures that the current visitor numbers of one million annually will continue to rise. recently, our team spent time exploring Nancy Kline's concept of a "Thinking environment" –the idea that the quality of a person's thinking depends on the quality of the attention they receive.

it is a simple concept, but one that feels increasingly relevant. in a busy world, many conversations are rushed. We interrupt, jump to solutions or begin formulating our response before the other person has finished speaking.

Nancy Kline's work reminds us that giving someone our full attention can help them think more clearly, make better decisions and discover insights they may not have reached otherwise.

People often assume financial planning meetings are primarily about numbers and technical expertise. Whilst those things are important, we believe the most valuable part of any meeting is understanding what truly matters to the person sitting across the table.

Clients come to us with important decisions about retirement, family, business succession and future aspirations. These conversations

are about much more than money – they are about goals, values and priorities.

Our role is not simply to provide answers. it is to create the space for people to think.

That means listening carefully, asking thoughtful questions and allowing time for reflection. Often the most meaningful breakthroughs come when clients are given the opportunity to explore their own thoughts without feeling rushed.

The training was a valuable reminder that good advice starts with understanding, and understanding starts with listening.

At Cre8, we want every meeting to be a place where clients feel heard, understood and given the time to think. Because sometimes the most valuable thing we can offer is not an answer, but the attention that allows someone to find the right answer for themselves.

The electric vehicle market is rapidly evolving, and among the contenders is the MG 6 eV, an offering from MG that promises to deliver an efficient, stylish ride without breaking the bank. The demand for ecofriendly transportation is on the rise, potential car buyers are actively seeking electric alternatives that suit their lifestyle, striking a balance between performance, range, and affordability, writes Bob Hickman.

The MG 6 eV’ s, sleek design commands attention. The front features a bold design, flanked by sleek leD headlights, that give it a modern yet sporty look. The overall profile is aerodynamic, that reduces drag and enhancing efficiency. Available in a variety of colours, including the Dynamic red of the test car.

Stepping inside, you’re greeted by a welldesigned interior. The cabin is spacious and incorporates quality materials, with soft-touch surfaces, but what i loved was the use of light and bright materials throughout, this lifted and gave a wonderful ambience.

Comfort is a key consideration for many buyers, and the MG 6 eV does not disappoint. The seats are well-padded and provide adequate support, making longer journeys enjoyable. rear-seat passengers will appreciate the ample legroom and headspace, making it a family-friendly option, the boot was more than enough to cater for all its occupants.

The layout is user-friendly, featuring a central touchscreen that houses navigation, audio, and vehicle settings. The digital instrument cluster is clear and informative, a headsup display onto the windscreen is another excellent feature. i was not too impressed with the dreaded speed limit and lane departure sounds, dare to venture 2 mph over the limit and an awful electronic noise deafens you. There is also another big brother feature, it was a small sensor on the top of the steering wheel column this registers your eyesight or head position, if it detects you are not watching the road enough it flashes up a message “Please focus on driving”

The MG 6 eV boasts a robust electric propulsion

system; twin motors deliver a zippy driving experience. A very rapid 0-60 in 5.1 seconds and a claimed top speed of 124mph, this new arrival is no slouch.

The MG 6 eV offers a commendable range on a single charge, catering well to daily commutes and weekend getaways alike. Depending on driving style and conditions, drivers can expect to cover anywhere up to 300 miles on a full charge. The availability of fast-charging options also means that the car can be recharged in a fraction of the time, making long-distance travel more feasible. During my time with the car i achieved 258miles before range anxiety set in.,

in terms of technology experience the MG has it in abundance, i did learn that certain features can be stored into a folder called “My Pilot” and with a push of a button each time you start a journey it will disconnect the chosen items (the dreaded lane departure and speed are amongst them). The Keyless

entry was a first, the car detects the key then it detects when you actually sit in the driver’s seat, it then allows you to drive away, no buttons to press,

Additionally, the infotainment system supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, ensuring that connectivity is never an issue.

The MG 6 eV strikes an excellent balance between affordability, performance, and features, offering a practical solution for those seeking greener transportation without compromising on style or comfort. As the electric vehicle market continues to grow, the MG 6 eV stands out as an attractive option for current and future eV buyers. Whether you’re an everyday commuter or someone looking to make a sustainable choice, the MG 6 eV deserves a spot on your test drive list.

The MGS6 eV Trophy Dual Motor had an on the road price of £43,995.
