ROYAL ALUMNI COUNCIL CONNECT. SERVE. EMPOWER. To Miss Lincoln University, Mr. Lincoln University, the 2026–2027 Royal Court, and the Lincoln University Community: On behalf of the Royal Alumni Council, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to the 2026–2027 Royal Court. As you step into this distinguished season of leadership and service, know that you are welcomed with tremendous love, pride, and support by generations of Lincolnites who have walked these historic grounds before you. This year carries extraordinary significance as Lincoln University celebrates 160 years of history, excellence, resilience, and service. For sixteen decades, our beloved University has stood as a testament to what is possible when courage meets purpose. From our founding by the brave soldiers of the 62nd and 65th United States Colored Infantries to the generations of scholars and leaders who followed, Lincoln University has remained a place where legacy is honored, excellence is expected, and each generation is called to leave our University “greater, better, and more beautiful than it was transmitted to us.” Today, that charge belongs to you. As members of the 2026–2027 Royal Court, you represent far more than titles, crowns, and traditions. You are ambassadors of the Lincoln University legacy and reflections of the excellence, leadership, and promise of our beloved alma mater. Your presence carries meaning. Your voices have influence. Your service has the power to create memories, open doors, and leave an imprint that will remain long after your reign has ended. As alumni, and as former student leaders who understand both the honor and responsibility of representing Lincoln University, we want you to know that you do not walk this journey alone. There is an entire community standing behind you, cheering for you, believing in you, and ready to support you. We encourage you to lead with authenticity, extend grace to one another, embrace every opportunity to serve, and treasure the relationships and memories you will create along the way. During this historic 160th year, may you reflect proudly on the shoulders upon which you stand while boldly imagining what Lincoln University can become. May your leadership honor those who came before you and inspire those who will one day follow in your footsteps. Most importantly, may you always remember that the greatest measure of royalty is not found in the crown we wear, but in the lives we touch and the legacy we leave behind. We welcome you into this beautiful tradition with open arms. May your reign be filled with purpose, joy, sisterhood and brotherhood, meaningful service, and unforgettable moments. Wherever life takes you after Lincoln, you will forever belong to this extraordinary royal legacy. We are proud of you. We believe in you. And we are cheering you forward, always. Mister 1866
As the first Mister 1866, Bryson sought a place on the Royal Court to hold himself accountable to a higher standard while representing Lincoln University with pride. He sees the role as an opportunity to be a visible example for others and to continue developing as a leader. He draws inspiration from Booker T. Washington’s words, “Success is measured by the obstacles overcome rather than the position reached.” Bryson hopes to use his marketing education after graduation while continuing to grow as a leader. Among Lincoln’s traditions, Homecoming stands out to him because it brings current students and alumni together as one Blue Tiger community.
Miss 1866

On campus, she actively serves as a Summer Bridge Mentor, member of the Campus Activity Board and member of Queen’s United.
Mister Junior
For Devon, stepping onto the Royal Court is about uplifting those around him and leading through humble service rather than title. He anchors his life in Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me,” and gives credit to his high school mentor, Mr. Ferguson, whose guidance helped him earn third place in Missouri’s state cybersecurity competition and launch his professional journey. Winning the position of Mister Junior stands as his proudest milestone at Lincoln so far. Devon plans to relocate after graduation to deepen his cybersecurity expertise and found an independent IT firm alongside his longtime high school partner.
Miss Junior

Martez Blair
Miyah Rosser
Raised in St. Louis by his hardworking single mother, Sheila Blair, Martez Blair learned the power of discipline and perseverance early in life. As the youngest of five siblings, he carried those values straight to Lincoln University, where he is majoring in elementary education. Martez actively enriches campus life as a ROAR agent, spring 2026 initiate of Alpha Phi Omega and Mr. 1908 for the Alpha Iota chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority.

He is proud of winning the role of Mister Sophomore, an honor he carries with humility. Following graduation, Martez looks forward to stepping into his own classroom, where he aims to inspire young minds as an impactful educator.
Miss Sophomore

Making the Dean’s List during her very first semester remains her proudest collegiate achievement.
