My journey in journalism kicked off with talking to folks at Spreetail—learning their stories, understanding different viewpoints. Then, I rolled into the College of Journalism, picking up skills that went beyond just writing. Surprisingly, these skills spilled into my music gig. Now, my interviews and stories aren't just words on paper; they've become the beats and melodies in my music. Journalism is alot like music, where every chat turns into a note and every story, a song.
My path in journalism, talking to Spree tail employees and studying at the College of Journalism, ended up being a gamechanger for my band, Miles Mason and Asher. The storytelling skills I picked up helped us promote our music better. Now, we've got a steady following, and our shows pull in great crowds. It's proof that a good story can resonate on and off the stage.

How I started my own website for my band Miles, Mason, & Asher - how web design and programming helped
So, here's the lowdown on Miles Mason and Asher – our band's vibe now extends beyond the stage, thanks to some web design magic I cooked up. I wanted our online space to be more than just a place for music; it had to be a digital photo album for fans. I rolled up my sleeves and worked on a website that mirrors our sound – clean, straightforward, and full of energy. The photo section is where it's at, serving up our memories with a side of easy navigation. But I didn't stop there. Our journey unfolds visually in the story gallery, capturing the real essence of Miles Mason and Asher – both on and off the spotlight. Now, fans can hit up our site, get lost in our tunes, and peek into our world through the photos. It's like inviting them backstage without leaving their couch. Web design might not be the first thing you think of with a band, but for us, it's become the secret sauce that keeps the digital groove alive.
