Ten years ago, we took a small group to Devon and came home knowing we had created something that really mattered. We still feel that way about every holiday and every guest who travels with us.

I wanted to make travel easier for people like me
How Limitless started
I was 23 when I was diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy. I found it incredibly difficult. I didn’t talk to anybody. I didn’t tell my friends something was wrong.
But I knew I had to face it and stop putting things off. I’d always loved travelling, so I decided now was the time. I quit my job and set off with my girlfriend, now wife, Lucy, to see as much of the world as possible.
Over the next year, we visited 35 countries. It was one of the best experiences of my life. We saw incredible places, met amazing people and created memories I’ll never forget.
But it wasn’t easy. As my mobility declined, I was starting to realise how difficult and exhausting it could be to travel with a disability, especially when accessibility hadn’t been properly considered and there was little support on hand.
Things I’d never had to think about before became part of every decision we made. And too often, something described as “accessible” simply wasn’t.
One moment that stayed with me
We’d booked a boat trip in the Galápagos after being told it was ‘fully accessible’. The reality was very different.
To get on board, I had to climb between two boats moving around in rough water. At one point, my leg became trapped between them. It was frightening.
More than anything, it made me realise how often disabled travellers are asked to put their trust in people who don’t truly understand.

Making a change
When I came home, I started thinking about how I could make travel easier for people in a similar position to myself.
Travelling is one of the most amazing experiences, so it was frustrating to see just how many people wanted to get away but didn’t have the confidence to do so, either due to a lack of support or opportunity.
I wanted to create the travel company I wished had existed for me — one built around real accessibility, thoughtful planning, and a genuine understanding. One you could trust in.
Whether it’s a disability, health condition, caring responsibilities, or simply needing a little extra support, everyone deserves to travel and see the world without stress, worry, or hassle. Limitless is here to help make that possible.

Our groups are intentionally small, usually between 10 and 15 guests, helping create a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere where connections come naturally.
