GUNSMOKE GUIDE SERVICE

Gunsmoke Guide Service is situated just south DeWitt in the heart of Arkansas County, Arkansas which is the home of the duck capital of the world. The operation is owned and led by Regan Counce who is heavily involved in the day-to-day operation from guiding to hunting. The consistent hunting success that hunters have historically experienced at Gunsmoke is incredible with an average in excess of four (4) ducks per gun per day on a year-to-year basis. This success is due to a number of factors that have strategically been put in place by Regan. First and foremost, the diversity of habitat, when hunting at Gunsmoke is second to none and you will have the opportunity to hunt impounded green timber, cypress & buck brush lakes, overflow bottomland hardwoods, waterfowl food plots, and traditional rice fields. Secondly, the operation spreads from the west side of Arkansas County along the Bayou Meto watershed to the east side of the county along the White River National Wildlife Refuge. The ability to spread pressure over numerous farms across the county in different flyways is very hard to replicate. Lastly, pressure management is key to the consistent success of Gunsmoke with the ability to rotate over 15+ locations with sanctuaries planted in hot food located in close proximity to a number of the blinds.

Outside of excellent hunting, the lodging and food offered by Gunsmoke is outstanding. The lodge features 3,089 heated and cooled square feet with four bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms. Designed and constructed to host, there is a commercial grade kitchen that ties into the open concept living room and hangout area allowing the entire group to enjoy the evening indoors, or be outside next to the fireplace enjoying a delta sunset. The bedrooms are spacious easily accommodating 8 hunters per evening. Lastly, there are lockers for each hunter to store their hunting gear during their time spent at Gunsmoke Guide Service.

• Gunsmoke is responsible for the planting of waterfowl food plots, blind brushing and hunting equipment.

• Gunsmoke will provide transportation to and from the lodge to the various hunting environments.

• Gunsmoke will provide all decoys, blind brushing, boats, side by sides, etc to facilitate successful hunting environments for each location.

• All cleaning, meals, and beverages are included in the offering. A large brunch will be offered at approximately 11:00 AM each morning with a full dinner served at 6:30 PM. Snacks and small breakfast items will be provided prior to the morning hunt.
