Strategic Plan OUR HORIZON

A more peaceful and sustainable future.

THE WORLD IN 2030

By 2030, Los Angeles will be a city defined by its role as a global crossroads, strengthened by the legacy of the 2028 Olympic Games and a shift toward a more sustainable, transit-oriented urban landscape. In this era, the world is likely to grapple with a polycrisis of climate urgency and political polarization, but it will also be energized by advanced Artificial Intelligence and a heightened value placed on human-centric skills like intercultural competency, empathy, creativity with an ethical purpose and critical thinking.
