Lighting design | ACE
In April 2024, the French Association of Lighting Designers (ACE) launched an innovative Think Tank led by Roger Narboni and President Vincent Thiesson. This initiative brings together nine talented designers to explore the future of lighting through 2055. Seven key themes have been identified: urban darkness, evolving cityscapes, nighttime mobility, bio-light design, health and well-being, indoor lighting, and artificial intelligence's role. Their collaboration has produced a comprehensive white paper, envisioning a vibrant world in 2055, coinciding with ACE's 60th anniversary. The publication includes insights from expert discussions and contributions from renowned designers like Mark Major and health advocate Christophe Martinsons, highlighting the growing significance of light in everyday life. It features creative projects from candidates for the ACE 2025 Imaginary Award.
