SECTION 03
Compliance Best Practices & What To Avoid
03.1
Stick to personal experience and general wellness language.
03.2
Keep tone authentic (e.g., “very pleased,” “a great addition to my routine”).
03.3
Whenever you describe how a product fits into your wellness routine or supports your general well-being, you must include a wellness disclaimer because you’re implying a product benefit.
03.4
Place disclosures close to any mention of the LifeWave business or opportunity.
03.5
Double-check your content against the Product Claims Guidelines (link below). Avoid the following (including hashtags, graphics, images, videos, or audio; not an all-inclusive list): • Disease/medical terms or implications: pain, inflammation, stroke, arthritis, anxiety, COVID, diabetes, stem cells, stem cell activation, blood pressure, heart attack, cancer, autism, bronchitis, depression, insomnia, PTSD, virus, infection, immune system, wound healing, menopause, cellular regeneration, ADHD. • Drug comparisons or medical language: “cured,” “treats,” “works better than my meds,” “pain-free,” etc. • Investment/earnings hype: “financial freedom,” “quit your job,” guaranteed income, or any atypical claims. • Misleading reviews/engagement: fake reviews, bot likes, paying for testimonials without disclosure.
