In this season of giving thanks, we often find ourselves reflecting on the many blessings in our lives. The true spirit of Thanksgiving encourages the conscious expression of gratitude. Its focus is spending time with those that you love and encourages giving back in a meaningful way. While ambition, competition, and slaying goals can be very healthy, forgetting to place importance on being present, enjoying the ride, and appreciating those around us who have helped us along in our journey, can leave us missing out on what truly matters. Can we be content if we only look outside ourselves and at our possessions or titles to determine if we are fulfilled? True contentment comes from within. Behind every successful person is someone who believes in them. This certainly rings true for Anthony Dispoto, best known in Orange County as The Contracts Attorney. During this season of gratitude, the founder and principal of the Law Office of Anthony J. Dispoto, Esq., is especially appreciative of his devoted wife, with whom he will soon be celebrating a first wedding anniversary. “I am extremely thankful for my very supportive wife, as she believed in me well before I opened my own law firm and found success.” Now a thriving business and real estate attorney, Anthony also expresses gratitude for his parents, both exemplary role models he’s looked up to for as long as he can remember. In fact, Anthony can attribute part of his business mantra from the time in which he worked with his father, where he learned and lived by the motto “under-promise and over-deliver.”

As The Contracts Attorney, Anthony focuses on non-adversarial business transactions across the Orange County area. His firm’s core practice areas include business formation, mergers and acquisitions, contract drafting and review, real estate, and commercial finance. Although business is booming for Anthony today, he readily reflects on how his path to success began. Upon graduating from law school, Anthony worked in-house for Abraham and Kevork, LLC, an in-house legal team for its parent company, Upfront. In this role, Anthony acted as the company’s Associate General Counsel and Human Resources Director, expanding his knowledge and experience in a variety of disciplines. “I’ve been a practicing attorney since 2015. I first started working in-house for a sober living company and then transitioned to a law firm full-time. I worked at these businesses before going into business on my own in July of 2021,” he recalls.

With versatile experience in business, legal transactions, and real estate, his skillset serves anyone in need of a meticulous professional across an array of areas, allowing him to offer experienced legal counsel for small businesses at a price that’s always affordable. “While working on my own has been the best for me, success-wise, learning from more knowledgeable attorneys was absolutely the right decision for me and has ultimately made me a better attorney.” To Anthony, being a better attorney means providing focused customer service—and keeping his father’s motto in mind. “I try to be as responsive as possible, and I try to keep my workload to a manageable level so that I can provide each of my clients with as much attention as is needed for any particular job,” he says. “When work piles up, I freeze all new cases until I have a more manageable workload again. According to owner/designer Leon Williams, who runs the show alongside his beloved wife, Dhasti Williams, their dedicated craftsmanship sets them apart from the competition. “We are a design-build custom cabinet shop. We complete every job one at a time here in our 8,000-square-foot facility in La Habra,” he says.

Leon and Dhasti make personalized customer service a priority. Leon has always been an ‘out of the box’ thinker. As a young man, he could usually be found doing something creative—cartooning, painting cars, diamond cutting—anything he could fabricate or restore was appealing to him. His passion for crafting cabinetry was ignited when a next-door neighbor took him under his wing and patiently taught him the trade over a four-year period. “Precision was everything,” he recalls of his apprenticeship. “If it wasn’t tight, it wasn’t right.” “It was extremely tough sometimes when, as a trainee, every other thing you did was wrong! Luckily, I loved and appreciated it, so I never quit.” In terms of competition, there may be an abundance, but Leon and Dhasti are confident that what Interior Exterior Designs has to offer puts them in a league of their own. “Our motto is ‘For Those Who Know the Difference,’” he says. “There are thousands of cabinet shops in the LA and OC areas, and each operates differently. Whether you’re hosting Thanksgiving or an autumn dinner party, setting a festive table creates the perfect cozy atmosphere. Improvise and use what you have around the house for adding elements to the table. Candlesticks, vases, little pumpkins and gourds, or fall decor you have on hand can make a great centerpiece. Add fresh flowers or dried foliage for that extra layer of texture and color.

The Traditional Table For this classic, traditional look, a plaid throw blanket stands in for a tablecloth to establish a festive base layer. Brass candlesticks with brown taper candles create a simple and elegant centerpiece. Use familiar accents such as amber jars filled with dried grass foliage and brass pheasants to adorn the table. To add a little character to the table, use a recycled wine bottle as a vase. The simple place setting is enhanced with a dried grass accent and brown silk ribbon tied into a bow to add a special touch to your traditional display.

The Fall Garden Party Table Are you planning to dine al fresco this fall? Create an earthy, fall garden party on the porch by using natural, organic elements, greenery and flowers. To make a statement, create a floral chandelier by hanging flowers upside down above the table using fishing wire (if your space allows). The centerpiece that runs down the length of this table consists of fresh eucalyptus with gold candlesticks and a ceramic pumpkin vase filled with flowers placed on top a tree trunk charger. Adding small pumpkins and fresh flowers along the center gives a little extra character. Instead of going with the classic white plate, enjoy a pop of color at your outdoor fall garden party with a blue place setting as a nod to the sky.

The French Country Table Rustic yet elegant, this tablescape combines the love of traditional, vintage and natural elements with an updated twist. The Spode Woodland Collection transferware designs are rooted in proper hunting tradition. The fawn table runner mimicking deer spots brings an earthy, yet elevated foundation as the base for this table setting. Coordinating fawn napkins wrapped with twine and topped with natural feathers creates a whimsical touch.
