For Adrian Costa, owner of International Marble and Granite Enterprises, the journey into the stone fabrication industry began at just 12 years old, spending summer mornings sweeping floors and helping wherever he could around the family business. Looking back, Adrian never imagined that the boy sweeping floors during summer break would one day lead the company. These timeless yet contemporary designs appeal to couples looking for understated elegance with a unique twist. Wedding bands are evolving as well. Diamond eternity bands are growing in popularity, with many couples choosing coordinating bands that ref lect their individual styles. Lab-grown diamonds are also transforming the bridal market. “A growing part of our bridal business is now in lab-grown diamonds, especially among younger buyers,” Peter says. “They allow couples to maximize their budget while getting the size and quality they’re looking for.” But natural diamonds remain an important part of Becker’s business, particularly for larger stones. Many customers continue to seek natural diamonds in the 1.5 carat range and beyond. Becker’s also keeps a close eye on national trends. Following this year’s jewelry market in Las Vegas, Mouawad has seen renewed interest in colorful gemstones, particularly sapphires and emeralds.
