Eagles' managers signed the 41-year-old as insurance, should one or more of Philadelphia's quarterbacks tests positive for the coronavirus, sources say. Josh played three games for the Eagles last season, and last started two seasons ago for the Jets. The Eagles offered him a coaching staff spot for the 2020 season, but he declined, stating he wasn't ready to officially retire from his playing career.

SPECTACULAR LANDSCAPING IS THE RESULT OF A COLLABORATION BETWEEN ART AND NATURE.Â

Currently, Dean is personally experimenting with a special tree commonly known as Mountain Gordlinia. He says it’s a cross between a Franklin tree and loblolly bay. This hybrid is a member of the tea family with flowers having a mild sweet fragrance. While Gordlinia has a reputation for being challenging to develop, Dean says it is fast-growing and does bloom in late summer through frost. The Dean’s Landscaping team works well in spaces that “marry and successfully live in old versus new tension,” says Dean. They are comfortable in combining natural stone and brick, modern layouts with interesting juxapositions, dressing stone up or down, or using manufactured products to create simple, clean lines for linear spaces. “When it comes to landscape designs, we walk fine lines of balance. And we create focal points to surprise you. Less is more while still being bold,” he says. This crew serves West Chester, Kennett Square, Chadds Ford and the surrounding communities, as well as the mainline suburbs of Delaware and Montgomery Counties. They have their own small nursery, as well as access to hardscape benefits such as game-changing retaining wall systems and water features. “With the explosion of staycations, we can execute really comprehensive plans and projects. Enduring relationships are important to us, and it’s rewarding to assist clients with phase 2 or 3 of their landscaping needs, or at multiple homes. With some clients, we’ve had the opportunity to work with different generations and become more like extended family members,” says Dean. 610.793.2386 Deans-Landscaping.com

composition: balance, composition, scale, emphasis, harmony and rhythm to her work. “You know that feeling you get when you walk into a room and it just feels right? It takes a lot of preparation to make everything work beautifully and in that right way,” she explains. First, proper distribution of objects and elements in a room creates equilibrium and provides an overall balance, says Deb, who adds that balance can be achieved in intentionally symmetrical, asymmetrical or radial manners to better suit the personalities, requirements and sensibilities of clients. Proportion focuses on how all of the furnishings, such as furniture, lighting, artwork, area rugs and window treatments, relate to each other and the space in which they are being used. Deb says distributing size, color, shape and texture of various design elements creates harmony and rhythm, which is pleasing to the eye and soothing to the soul. “Often my clients are moving to homes with a

She says the pandemic certainly has affected people’s views of their residences by redefining what emotional support and functionality they want from their homes. “Not only are we re-evaluating how we want rooms to function, we’re appreciating the value of this place we call ‘home’ as a safe haven in these changing times.” Deb serves clients throughout Chester County and Delaware County, and is happy to provide virtual or in-home consultations.

TREND SETTER
WHEN FORMER NEW YORK FASHION MERCHANT VOLTAIRE BLAIN OPENED HIS SHOE BOUTIQUE TWO YEARS AGO ON A GREAT BLOCK OF GERMANTOWN AVENUE IN CHESTNUT HILL, HE FULFILLED SEVERAL OF HIS PERSONAL DREAMS. The first was becoming a fashion-conscious advocate of really well-made shoes. The second was to be the first to display shoes on a full-size pool table. And the third was to join his wife, a native of Chestnut Hill, in settling into a picturesque but family-friendly city. Specializing in providing “not a typical shoe store,” Voltaire wants customers to feel assured and comfortable. They can receive fittings, or Voltaire now helps people determine sizes over the phone or through videoconferences. He carries loafers and Oxfords, as well as low- and high-cut boots, ranging in price from $300 to $1,300. He proudly offers Alden, Gaziano & Girling and Paraboot; some of which are his own designs. Ask Voltaire about unique neckwear, fine socks, accessories, custom shirts and suits, too. 8433 Germantown Ave., Chestnut Hill/Philadelphia 215.753.2465

“ONCE YOU GET TO MY STUDIO, IT’S ALL ABOUT YOU – I WANT YOU TO RELAX, LET ME WORRY ABOUT HOW YOUR FACE LOOKS ON CAMERA. I trained extensively with the best in the industry in lighting, posing and camera techniques, to make you look amazing,” assures Paoli-based photographer Isolde Baylor, whose nickname is Iba (translation: sublime, superb and pride). “My goal is that our session will transform how clients see themselves, so they can happily share it with the world,” she adds. Iba’s photography business actually sprang from her other profession as a veterinarian. Like many parents do, she first got a digital camera to document her children’s milestones. That led to handling holiday photography sessions to benefit pet rescue groups. “With more elaborate themes and equipment, I realized I could help veterinary colleagues with their photos for hospital websites and marketing materials,” Iba recalls. Next thing she knew, she’d assembled a mobile photography unit from her vehicle from which she still services pet technicians and veterinary professionals during the days she’s not a staff veterinarian in Lancaster. Iba opened a physical photography studio this January to host headshots, portraits and pets. She’s also dedicated part of her efforts to providing photos to people who’ve been displaced from their employment due to COVID-19 and who need new images for their job searches. She specializes in the following types of images: PERFORMER HEADSHOTS + Actors + Musicians + Authors + Models + Comedians BUSINESS HEADSHOTS + Doctors + Attorneys + Entrepreneurs + On-Location + Real Estate SOCIAL MEDIA HEADSHOTS + Executives + Thought Leaders + Autobiographies + LinkedIn Profiles + Dating Profiles “I enjoy capturing images everyone is excited to share,” says Iba. She’s even partnering with local restaurants to do Yappy Hours so pet owners can get photos taken of their fur kids while they relax and enjoy restaurants’ offerings. Her Yappy Hours benefit local rescue groups, such as All 4 Paws in Malvern and Black Cat Café for PALS (Pet Adoption and Lifecare Society). 21 Plank Avenue, Suite 200, Paoli info@imagesbyiba.com 484.320.7535 ImagesByIba.com (online bookings available) CityLifestyle.com/WestChesterPA

Specifically, they assist customers with a variety of both stationary as well as portable sources or over-the-shoulder concentrator models for oxygen supplies. They even have modems on the devices they sell so they can detect potential issues on customers’ behalf for important developments, such as potential air leaks on medical masks.
