JUST IMAGINE THE SMELL OF PUMPKIN SPICE! Enjoy the warmth of retreating inside your home this season for rest and relaxation. Refresh and renew yourself after a very busy, long, hot Summer. The leaves are changing colors and falling so get outside. Walk, run or dance in the leaves and enjoy one of nature's best beauty performances. As we gather together during this season of gratitude, count your many blessings and be thankful for your many gifts. Some of us do not live in a home as luxurious as the home featured in this issue but we can be grateful for the home we do have and continue to dream and believe if you desire more. While feasting on your holiday meals this month remember those who may not be so fortunate as you and find ways to give to those who need our help. Happy Thanksgiving South Charlotte!

THANKSGIVING DINNER! Let’s talk turkey, or NOT. For some of us, Thanksgiving is all about the sides. So go ahead and brine, fry, roast, rub, stuff or buy the turkey. I’ll bring the side dishes! Enjoy these fabulous recipes. Sweet potato casserole, roasted carrots and Brussels sprouts with bacon are other great options. Oh…and don’t forget the fluffy mashed potatoes and gravy!

Pictured here is my famous Oyster Dressing. It pairs great with the recipes in this article. Visit CharlotteFashionPlate.com for the recipe.

South Charlotte Lifestyle | November 2021

LET'S TALK TURKEY.....OR NOT!

Sausage Stuffing + 2 loaves white sandwich bread + 1 package Jimmy Dean sage sausage + 3 stalks celery, finely chopped + 1/4 white onion, finely chopped + 1 stick salted butter + 1 box chicken or turkey broth/stock + 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped + 1 beaten egg + 1 teaspoon kosher salt + 1 teaspoon black pepper Toast the bread. Break apart in a large bowl. Add in the parsley, salt and pepper. Brown the sausage in a pan. Remove. Grind in a food processor. In the same pan with the grease removed, melt the butter. Add the celery and onions. Soften for a few minutes. Add two-thirds of the stock to the pan along with the ground sausage. Pour mixture over the bread. Combine. Add more stock as needed. Incorporate the egg. Place in a buttered dish and bake at 375° for 15 minutes.

Tiffany Sears is standing & from left to right; Dee Reed, Exequiel Cruz, Diann Weston Working with Tiffany Sears as my realtor was a dream come true. She made my experience of buying a newly built home very easy and straight forward. The patience that she portrays is amazing. I know that I ask many questions because I try to be very thorough. Tiffany took her time and explained every little detail that I inquired about. The best part was that she would tell me if she was unsure about anything and then she would find the information that I needed and get back to me right away. She was never too busy to explain something to me. I truly appreciate her. If you are looking to buy a home, I highly recommend Tiffany Sears of The Sears Group at Keller Williams Southpark.
