On the menu, you’ll find a wide assortment of fillets, rib-eyes and strip, and there really is an art to preparing them. Using 1855 Ranches, a government Angus program that tracks the genetics of the cows and makes sure they are truly black Angus cattle, you can be assured you are getting the best cut of meat around. “It is well-regarded that black Angus cows eat better, so they marble out better," executive chef John Dober says. “People who are really into steak talk about the toothiness of the steak. It needs to have a bite. You want a tender steak, but you don't want it to be mushy tender.” One of the most popular dishes at Napa is the 26-ounce tomahawk rib-eye.
Can’t Breathe! • Nasal Congestion • Runny Nose • Sinus Pressure
“This dry-aged rib-eye comes out of the kitchen with a 20-inch bone on it, and it looks pretty impressive,” John says. “People love them, and we can easily sell five or six in a night. It takes 30 days for us to make them because they have to sit in our aging room for this time period,” he says. Another must-try is the Japanese A-5 Miyazaki Prefecture, served raw with a 500-degree Himalayan sea salt block for you to cook at the table. “A-5 beef is the premium of all Japanese wagyu cattle,” John says. “It has three times the amount of marbling, and an 8-ounce portion of it is more than satisfying. It's rich and heavy, but it's delightful at the same time.” From the menu to the hospitality, the Hawleys are always looking to make sure their steakhouse exceeds their guests’ expectations. “God has blessed us in six years with two restaurants," Lisa says. “It's not been easy, but it's my family’s passion. Plus, we’ve created a steakhouse in the north so that people in the area don’t have to travel to downtown anymore just for a fine dining steakhouse experience.”

KENT KOCH HAS ALWAYS ENVISIONED A LIFE WORKING IN THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY. “When I was 8 years old, I can remember wanting a job where I could go into the hardware store during the day and wear blue jeans all the time,” he says. Born and raised just north of Pittsburgh in Harmony, Pennsylvania, Kent grew up in a part of the region that looks much different today than it did 50 years ago. “Years ago, none of the booming commercial and residential development north of the city existed,” he says. “It was all farmland.” Some of those developments include commercial properties such as McCandless Crossing and Streets of Cranberry, as well as residential communities like Treesdale. “When I grew up, my grandfather owned a grocery store in Harmony, which is where we got our groceries. If we didn't go there, we had to drive all the way to Wexford, and Route 19 didn’t have as many traffic lights.” Traveling up Interstate Highway 279, the gradual development on both sides of the highway keeps moving farther north. For a guy in construction, such development has been a welcomed and happy addition to the area. Kent’s career in the construction business began in 1983, building some of the first multifamily and commercial buildings in quickly growing Cranberry Township, he says. Finally, in 1988, Kent founded Koch Construction Co. Inc., and the rest is history. Specializing in residential projects such as building new homes or remodels, Koch Construction Co. also does trim work on houses for other builders, as well as some commercial work. Going on 31 years in business in and around Cranberry Township is a testament to Kent’s vivacious personality and friendly demeanor. Routine and organization are also key factors to his success. “My day to day consists of leaving my house every day at 6 a.m. From there, I go to Lowes and meet some of my project managers, and by 7 a.m., I am out checking on job sites,” Kent says. With a detailed notebook in hand, Kent easily keeps track of the 15 to 20 projects he has going on at once. “Our repertoire is really wide in terms of what we can do,” he says. At 64, Kent has as much energy and drive as someone in their early 20s. “I will never retire,” he says. “I don’t want to.” Kent not only loves his job but he also loves his community as well. “I don’t ever see myself leaving,” he says with a smile. 26

While there can be concern about citrus oils on the skin when exposed to sunlight, lemongrass isn’t a photosensitive oil, and if lemon essential oil is steam-distilled rather than cold-pressed (Oui Fresh essential oils are cold-pressed) it can be used on the skin. So just make sure to note which one your lemon oil is and only spray on clothes if you don’t have a skin-safe lemon oil (which is an application method a lot of people prefer anyway if they are more sensitive to oils).
