Sometimes new beginnings come in unexpected ways and detours. Sadie McMullen shares in her article, Diary of an Olympic Hopeful that while her passion for track and field is what propelled her at first, bobsledding pulled her into a whole new world of potential. It can be easy to create a vision for our life, set goals and begin to make our way, but what happens when, along the way, we see another possibility? I hope January is full of possibilities for you. As you turn the pages in our Health & Wellness issue, I hope you feel an invitation to embrace the pieces that make life feel more like a puzzle rather than a path. So you can discover and rediscover what makes you feel alive. Whether it’s refining your winter glow, exploring new winter getaways or experiencing red light therapy for the first time, I hope the beginning of this year is awakening and revitalizing for you. Life isn’t about perfection; it’s about discovery and consistency. It’s about the magic in staying curious and trying new things. May this year spark new potential and kindly invite you into a brand new world of possibility. We’re rooting for you! Cheers to a new year, CASSANDRA GREEN, EDITOR @ PA R K E R C I T Y L I F E S T Y L E

Diary of an O l y m p i c Ho p e f u l MY JOURNEY FROM THE TRACK TO THE SLED

Bobsled track in Winterberg, Germany

Dreams often take root in our childhood. Sadie McMullen’s passion for track and field propelled her through Valor Christian High School and the University of Wyoming. However, her athletic prowess unexpectedly led her to bobsledding, a sport renowned for its exhilarating speeds of up to 85 mph and G-forces that reach five times a person’s body weight. As the 2025 World Cup season approaches and Olympic aspirations loom, Sadie shares her remarkable journey. With unwavering determination, she aims to carve her name in this demanding sport, drawing strength from her faith, grit and an ever-present sense of gratitude. 2016 - 2020: HOW IT STARTED I began competing in track and field in eighth grade through the Valor Christian High School Track Academy led by Brian Kula. I fell in love with training and competing. That decision laid the foundation for my future athletic endeavors. My freshman year at Valor, I competed for the track team and solidified my passion for the sport. Over the next four years, I honed my skills in various events and developed a deeper understanding of my athletic potential. In 2020, I was recruited by Coach Quincy Howe as a Division 1 track athlete at the University of Wyoming. I specialized in long jump and short sprints, training under both Coach Howe and strength coach Josh Little. Competing at the collegiate level was intense, rewarding and formative. It laid the groundwork for the unexpected next chapter of my career. SUMMER 2024: AN UNEXPECTED DETOUR – THE BOBSLED BECKONS The summer of 2024 brought an unexpected twist. Coach Howe received an email from Curt Tomasevicz, USA Bobsled Director of Performance, seeking college athletes for a recruitment combine in Salt Lake City. Though bobsled was entirely new to me, I felt a strong pull to explore this icy possibility. AUGUST 2024: TESTING THE WATERS – THE COMBINE EXPERIENCE On Aug. 17, I attended the combine in Salt Lake City, an intensive day designed to test speed, strength and power. The atmosphere was electric, filled with athletes pushing

their limits. That day, I also met Head Coach Chris Fogt and pilot Kaysha Love, both of whom would later play pivotal roles in my journey. AUGUST 2024: THE INVITATION TO LAKE PLACID One week later, I received an official invitation to rookie camp in Lake Placid, New York. My performance in Salt Lake City spoke for itself, and my journey into bobsledding was officially underway. AUGUST – OCTOBER 2024: 8 WEEKS OF TRAINING FOR THE ICE With rookie camp on the horizon, my training underwent a strategic shift. While maintaining my track regimen at Wyoming, Josh Little added weighted prowler sled pushes, a targeted strength and power workout explicitly designed to build explosive power and endurance essential for a bobsled push start. OCTOBER 2024: ROOKIE CAMP – AN ICY INTRODUCTION I joined 12 other rookies at Mt. Van Hoevenberg in Lake Placid for Rookie Camp. We learned sled mechanics, explosive push techniques and the unique demands required to navigate ice tracks. Midway through camp, I received an unexpected call from Curt: an invitation to stay three more weeks to train with the World Cup team and compete in selection races. It meant forgoing my indoor track season, but the opportunity was too extraordinary to decline. OCTOBER 2024: ROOKIE PUSH CHAMPIONSHIPS – VALIDATING THE DECISION Days later, I competed in the Rookie Push Championships and delivered results that suggested I had the potential to reach the World Cup stage. OCTOBER/NOVEMBER 2024: MY FIRST RIDE & TRAINING WITH ELITES I finally took my first bobsled ride with Olympic medalist Elana Meyers Taylor, a disorienting rush of 5–6 G-forces that quickly became addictive. Along with Elana, I was also mentored by Olympic Gold Medalist Kaillie Humphries and World Champion Kaysha Love. CONTINUED >

USA Bobsled Team 2024-25 Season

NOVEMBER 2024: THE WORLD CUP DREAM REALIZED Unseasonably warm weather limited practice time on the track, but I was still able to compete in the World Cup Bobsledder challenges. My performance secured a coveted spot as a World Cup Bobsledder for the 2024-2025 season. LATE NOVEMBER/EARLY DECEMBER 2024: FAREWELL TO TRACK Before shifting to bobsled full-time, I returned to Wyoming, completed my graduate classes and competed in my last track meet as a Cowgirl at the UW Power Meet. It was a bittersweet farewell to a sport that had given me so much, provided countless memories and shaped me into the athlete I am today. DECEMBER 2024: EMBRACING THE WORLD TOUR After Christmas, I officially joined the World Cup circuit.

JANUARY 2025: WINTERBERG – ACCLIMATIZATION AND LEARNING My first stop was Winterberg, Germany: a whirlwind of adjustment and learning. I didn’t race, but it was a crucial period of acclimatization, allowing me to absorb the pace and demands of World Cup bobsledding. JANUARY 2025: ST. MORITZ – A PODIUM DEBUT The moment I had been working towards came in St. Moritz, Switzerland. I competed in my first World Cup race with the legendary Elana Meyers Taylor. It was an exhilarating experience, culminating in a podium finish —a remarkable result for my debut World Cup race. JANUARY 2025: INNSBRUCK – THE EAGLES TRACK The tour continued its rapid pace. Here I raced alongside Olympic medalist Sylvia Hoffman in Innsbruck, Austria, and loved the challenges of the course. I learned that each track brings its own unique character and learning opportunities. JANUARY 2025: ST. MORITZ – A RACE LOST TO WARMTH I returned to St. Moritz to race with Kaillie, but warm weather forced a cancellation, a reminder of nature’s unpredictability and the inherent challenges of winter sports. FEBRUARY 2025: LILLEHAMMER – ALTERNATE, PATIENCE & ANTICIPATION During two weeks of training, I served as an alternate brakewoman for the Norway race. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the opportunity to compete on that particular track. It was a time of continued learning and readiness, even from the sidelines. MARCH – APRIL 2025: LAKE PLACID – THE HOME STRETCH In the latter part of the season, we returned to Lake Placid for six weeks of training and competition. It felt good to be back where the journey began. MARCH 2025: WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS – READY FOR ANYTHING A pinnacle event in the bobsled season, Lake Placid hosted the World Championships. I served as an alternate on Elana’s sled.

APRIL 2025: PILOT OLYMPIC TRIALS – SEASON’S END AND NEW BEGINNINGS The season ended with the Pilot Olympic Trials, where I raced with Lauren Brzozowski. It was the conclusion of a transformative first World Cup season. SEPTEMBER 2025: A SECOND WORLD CUP SEASON CONFIRMED Building on the incredible momentum of my debut season, I returned to Wyoming for continued training with Coach Howe and Josh Little. At the National Team Push Championships, I secured my spot on the World Cup team for a second season. JANUARY 2026: OLYMPIC DREAMS ON THE HORIZON The highly anticipated Olympic team announcement. My dream is to secure a coveted spot on the world’s most prestigious stage and represent the U.S. in Cortina. FEBRUARY 2026: CORTINA, ITALY If selected, I’ll proudly compete in the Olympic Games in Cortina, which would be the ultimate culmination of years of hard work, sacrifice and unwavering dedication to athletic excellence. SALT LAKE 2034: FUTURE OLYMPIC DREAMS AND BECOMING A BOBSLED PILOT Beyond competing as a brakewoman, I aim to become a pilot, racing in both monobob and two-woman events. My long-term vision is to pilot at the 2030 Olympics in La Plagne, France and the 2034 Olympics in Salt Lake City. SPONSORSHIP: FUELING THE DREAM Competing at the highest level demands relentless training, international travel and world-class equipment, all of which require strong support. I’m seeking partners who share the Olympic spirit and want to be part of this journey from rookie season to the Olympic stage. Together, we can fuel the pursuit of excellence and inspire the next generation of athletes.

ORIGINAL LANDSCAPE AND ABSTRACT PAINTINGS BY DAVE REITER

“Transitions In Time” Triptych oil on canvas over board, 24 x 44 in.

The Story Behind the Painting:

“As we transition into a new year, this painting reminds me of the crossing over to something new. It was inspired during my trip to the Arboretum & Botanical Gardens in Overland Park, Kansas, and based on Monet’s garden in Giverny, France. I spent hours viewing the garden from various perspectives, and when it came time to paint, I chose this particular scene. I loved the way the light was just beginning to peak over the ridge behind me. It felt like things were just beginning, but simultaneously, because of the shifting light, I knew that what I saw and experienced at that moment would soon be gone, and something else would come. It was these fleeting, transitional moments that first captured my attention and inspired me to paint this stunning place.”

WINTER

GE TAWAYS When holiday lights peek through frost-covered trees, it’s easy to feel like you’re on the set of a Hallmark movie. But the frosty season doesn’t always feel as whimsical and magical as the movies depict. Strolling down Parker’s Main Street or taking a day trip to hit the slopes with family and friends are certainly great ways to spend the winter months, but what else does Colorado have to offer? Here are three hidden gems in the Centennial State that will help you embrace winter. Some activities may even make you feel like you’re on the set of a movie (think Disney’s Frozen or Snow Dogs). ICE CASTLES Locations: Silverthorne and Cripple Creek Live out fairy tale dreams by visiting a castle made entirely from ice. The one-acre castle is handcrafted each year with more than 25 million pounds of ice and thousands of icicles. Visitors spend unlimited time inside the castle, exploring caverns, sculptures, thrones, icicle-adorned archways, tunnels and slides. There’s even a bar inside where guests can enjoy winter-themed beverages. During the evening, LED lights frozen inside the ice brighten up the space and frequently change colors, creating a one-of-a-kind show. Founder Brent Christensen came up with the idea for Ice Castles after building an ice cave in his yard for his daughter. The cave was a big hit with his kiddo and neighbors — it even drew a crowd of locals. This led Brent to found Ice Castles in 2011. Tickets can be purchased at www.icecastles. com through late February or early March, depending on the weather. Pro tip: Wear gloves and a long jacket.

GRIZZLE-T DOG & SLED WORKS Location: Steamboat Springs “Mush,” and you’re off! At Grizzle-T Dog & Sled Works, guests take the reins of a dog sled pulled by a team of Alaskan Huskies to explore a 12.5-mile private trail. Each sled typically accommodates two people, creating an intimate, hands-on experience in which each person weighing at least 80 pounds gets a turn to drive. But this adventure isn’t just for adults. Smaller children who are at least 2 years old are allowed, too, in which case, there may be three people on a sled. Once guests arrive back at the trailhead, they get time to thank, pet and snuggle the Huskies that pulled them. Desserts and hot chocolate are also provided. Grizzle-T will celebrate its 30th anniversary this year, and co-owner Kris Hoffman has been along for the ride from the very beginning. He worked as a guide at Grizzle-T when the company began in 1996. In 2001, Kris purchased the business and now runs it alongside his wife, Sara Hoffman. The excursion can be booked online at www.steamboatdogsledding.com. Pro tip: Book as soon as you can. The business only uses eight sleds at a time. TENNESSEE PASS Location: Leadville Take a hike through a winter wonderland on your way to a unique dining and lodging experience. Upon arrival at the Nordic Center, guests ski, snowshoe or hike about one mile through the Pike-San Isabel National Forest to a multi-course lunch or dinner at the Tennessee Pass Cookhouse. Those wanting to prolong the adventure beyond a meal can book a private sleeping yurt and hike a bit past the Cookhouse for an off-the-grid evening or two. Each yurt accommodates six people and is equipped with beds, wood stoves, a kitchenette and more. Tennessee Pass also offers cross-country skiing and Nordic ski lessons. Additional information and yurt rentals can be found at www.tennesseepass. com. Meal reservations must be made by calling 719-486-8114. Pro tip: Don’t forget to dress in layers; the journey to and from the restaurant is magical, but it can be cold.

ARTICLE BY CASSANDRA GREEN | PHOTOGRAPHY PROVIDED

Crystal Clear Clarity And Vision What It Feels Like To Be Truly Seen By Your Eye Care Professionals Founded by Dr. Lance Forstot, M.D., a board-certified ophthalmologist and nationally renowned corneal specialist, Colorado Eye Consultants began with a highly regarded reputation for treating corneal disease. Dr. Forstot’s reputation preceded him as patients traveled across the country for his treatments. As co-owners Karen Repine, M.D., and Robert Fish, M.D., joined the practice, it evolved to provide full-service ophthalmology care to patients from all across the country, continuing its long-standing legacy of excellent care, knowledge and expertise. Lori Jessen, Practice Administrator of Colorado Eye Consultants, shares, “Our providers have outstanding reputations all over the United States. They’re very well connected with other medical specialties, so we get referrals from cardiologists, internal medicine, rheumatologists and more.” But it isn’t purely medical expertise that sets Colorado Eye Consultants apart. Lori shares about their high standards for excellent customer service. She says, “When people have problems with their vision, it’s very scary. We focus on providing great medical care and treat our patients like family. We deal with a lot of sensitive stuff. We’re not here just to provide eye care. We’re here to provide great, compassionate human care to them.”

30

EXP E RT H E LP | HEALTH + WE LLN E SS

She goes on, “That’s a big focus - our staff is compassionate, caring and very patient. We have elderly patients who are dropped off from facilities and are alone. Sometimes patients can’t see well enough to fill out their form, so our desk staff will sit beside them and help them fill it out. My message to all our team is that we have phenomenal doctors. We know they’re outstanding at what they do. They have extensive experience, and every single person who works in the practice represents them. It’s our job to make sure we represent them well.” The most common issues they treat are cataracts, glaucoma, retinal conditions, corneal conditions, diabetic eye exams, macular degeneration and dry eyes. Lori notes that many symptoms can be subtle, so she recommends that even people with healthy eyes visit the eye doctor at least once a year. From general needs like glasses and contacts to specialized care, Colorado Eye Consultants continues to add noteworthy members to its medical team. They currently have three new doctors with varying specialities. Dr. Carl Rebhun, M.D., specializes in Oculofacial Plastic Surgery. Dr. Ameay Naravane, M.D., specializes in Glaucoma, Cataract and Anterior Segment Surgery. Finally, Dr. Richard Freeman, M.D., specializes in Adult Strabismus and Double Vision Care.

“ We’re not here jus t to provide eye care. We’re here to provide great , compassionate human care to them.”

“The doctors who have joined are very well known,” Lori shares. “Dr. Freeman may be the most well-known for what he does nationwide. Dr. Rebhun and Naravane came from the top training programs in the country for glaucoma and plastics to mimic what Dr. Forstot, Dr. Repine and Dr. Fish have created.” They also provide emergent same-day visits. Lori advises, “Pay attention to a sudden decrease in vision, flashes of light,

a shower of floaters or if you see a whole bunch of spots in your vision. These things are definitely not normal and need to be checked immediately.” Dr. Forstot and Dr. Fish were recognized by Colorado 5280 Magazine as Top Doctors in Colorado for 2025. With a reputation that precedes them, they continue to raise the standards for excellent eye care and care for people. www.coloradoeyeconsultants.com JANUARY 2 0 2 6 | C I TYL I FE STYL E . Owners of the new Perspire Sauna Studio in Parker, Stephanie and Jason, saw it as a new way of helping the community. “Just to hear stories that we’re not only bringing something beneficial to such an amazing community, but feel like we have done something good and we’re successful,” Stephanie shares about having an impact on the Parker community. Jason, a veteran and firefighter, and Stephanie, a law enforcement officer, understand the importance of putting their lives on the line for the greater good. This new Perspire endeavor fits that description in a different way. “One of our members has neuropathy,” Stephanie explains. “She comes every single day, and even within the first week, she was telling me she had sensation in her hands and her feet. It makes me emotional.” The infrared saunas at Perspire use three wavelengths: near-, midand far-infrared. Having three sets of wavelengths allows deeper penetration into the skin, providing greater benefits for users. “For instance, in a traditional sauna, you usually detox about two to three percent,” Stephanie explains. “An infrared sauna is about fifteen to twenty percent. So just the detoxification alone is amazing.” Unlike traditional saunas, which heat the air, infrared saunas use light to heat the body from the inside out, creating a faux

fever. The lower temperatures in an infrared sauna allow people to sit longer and reap the benefits. The result is a powerful immune response that fights infections and reduces inflammation. “Inflammation is huge,” Stephanie says. “We were at Parker Days, and a guy walked up to us and mentioned his friend who was going to an infrared sauna could now read the back of the shampoo bottle with the small print. They think it was due to inflammation that he couldn’t before.” From a personal perspective, Stephanie attributes Perspire to helping her tremendously after a traumatic birth experience with her son, followed by multiple surgeries. It wasn’t until she started going to the infrared sauna that she felt her recovery start to happen. “We were living in Castle Rock at the time,” Stephanie explains. “And I found the Castle Rock Perspire and started going there and fell in love with it. It was absolutely the thing that I needed to get over that hump and plateau. I felt like my recovery sped up tremendously.” She goes on to say, “My mood was better. I felt like my stress level from being at work was better, and it just felt like it helped everything.” It was then that she realized that owning a Perspire franchise was definitely in her future. Getting her husband on board wasn’t difficult, as the business model was simplistic and straightforward. When Jason started using the infrared sauna, he was astounded by the results. CONTINUED >

“For instance, in a traditional sauna, you usually detox about two to “Being in the army,” Stephanie shares, “he was deployed three times. He has TBI (traumatic brain injury), and he shattered his hand at one point. It [infrared sauna] has changed him, like he can tell the difference on the days he goes and the days he doesn’t.” As a firefighter, Jason is often exposed to toxins, and the detoxification benefits of the infrared sauna help him tremendously. “He was in a fire the other day,” Stephanie says. “He worked a 48-hour shift and showered twice. He came in immediately after the shift, and his towel, after he was sweating, was still black.” With outstanding results like that, Stephanie and Jason want to help more people achieve the incredible benefits Perspire offers, especially first responders and the military. “That’s where our heart is,” Stephanie explains. “That’s who we’d like to focus on, military and first responders, because I think too many of us go through life and see awful things or just have daily stress on top of work stress, and we just say, ‘I’m fine. I’m fine.’ Those 40 minutes just changed things. I didn’t realize how stressed I was until I consistently started going.” Each sauna features towel service, including a cool eucalyptus towel and a shower to rinse off after treatment. A television in each space allows customers to watch a show or listen to calming music through the sauna’s speaker system. In addition to the saunas, Perspire offers Sno showers that take customers from heat therapy to cold therapy. “Five of our rooms have what’s called a Sno Shower,” Stephanie explains. “It’s that contrast of therapies where your body is going from that faux fever, where your blood is going to extremities, to a sudden cold where your blood vessels constrict to bring blood back to your core. It’s 45 seconds at 45 degrees.”

three percent. An infrared sauna is about fifteen to twenty percent. So just the detoxification alone is amazing.”

This hot-to-cold change further reduces inflammation and brings oxygen back throughout the body as it warms. This process helps to increase recovery rates and brings mental clarity. Perspire offers packages with 4, 8 or 20 sessions per month, with the option to roll over sessions for up to 3 months. They also offer monthly membership options ranging from 4 sessions to unlimited. The first single session to give it a try is only $20 for 40 minutes of relaxation, with mind-andbody health benefits. For Stephanie, Perspire opened a door she didn’t realize she needed. “When I have had great success with something, I’m really passionate about it and I can’t stop talking about it,” Stephanie laughs. “But not only for my personal growth and my recovery, but seeing my Grandma, who lives in Littleton, and she was driving over here, 30 minutes a day, which is not like her, but she was feeling better.”

YOUR W IN T E R GL OW TIPS FOR YOUR WINTER SKIN CARE ROUTINE WITH DERMATOLOGIST DR. KATE MESSANA

ARTICLE BY CASSANDRA GREEN PHOTOGRAPHY BY CORYN NELSON

S KIN CA R E | HEALTH + WE LLN E SS

Winter time is a beautiful season in Colorado. Snowfall covers our mountains and hills in white powder, and yet we can still trust the sun will come out to melt the winter wonderland and begin the cycle over again. The air is chilly and refreshing, but it can also be extremely drying to our skin.

Dermatologist, Cosmetic Dermatologist and Dermatopathologist, Dr. Kate Messana shares her treasured tips for a good winter skincare routine. She and her husband, Cutaneous Oncologist, Mohs Surgeon and Skin Cancer Surgeon, Dr. Chris Messana, began Elevated Dermatology in 2017. They hold offices in Parker and Littleton and are a premier skin cancer center and dermatology practice specializing in skin, hair, nail and cosmetic services. Dr. Kate shares, “For winter skin care, obviously we live in Colorado and Colorado gets drier and drier and the humidity gets lower and lower, so it’s really important to give your skin a little TLC.” Her first tip is not to crank the heat in the shower. She says, “Hot showers, hot baths and long baths will strip something called natural moisturizing factor. We actually make our own lotion. It allows us to stay hydrated, but the hot water will actually strip that away. You don’t have to take a cold shower, but just turn it down a little bit. Don’t let it sting your skin. Keep it short and sweet as best as possible and use a cleansing oil. They’re over the counter, but they’re beautiful because you’re actually washing your body with just a little bit of an oil that doesn’t leave a greasy feel and it helps to hydrate even when you’re showering.” She continues, “Then, when you get out, it’s best to put on a moisturizer if you need it within about two minutes of getting out of the shower. One of the tricks I actually recommend is to put the moisturizer in the

shower with you so you can pat dry, and before you get out of that nice warm steamy environment, you’ve already taken care of the areas you need to really keep your skin healthy.” “Outside of that is being aware of sun exposure,” Dr. Kate adds. “Even though the UV index is really low, it’s important to apply the appropriate amount of sunscreen or sunblock for your hikes, walks and ski trips. We see more potency in the amount of UV radiation based on altitude more than latitude. Sun exposure is stronger in the Mile High City than it is closer to the equator at sea level.” Dr. Kate also recommends specific medical treatments in the winter months. She mentions, “If we’re trying to treat pre-cancers or clear up a lot of sun damage on the face, we can do what we call field therapy, there are creams, there’s light therapy and those are best done in the winter with less sun exposure.” Dr. Kate and her team at Elevated Dermatology are very intentional in their care. She explains, “Mental health is so intricately tied to your skin in so many ways. We really make sure each patient is heard and treated completely.” To schedule an appointment, visit www.elevatedderm.com or call (720) 851-5200.

“WHY DO I FEEL AWFUL EVEN THOUGH MY LABS ARE ‘NORMAL’?”

AND PROVIDED

Across modern medicine, a shift is happening. More patients are demanding real explanations, and more clinicians are rethinking what “healthcare” should actually mean. Leading that shift is Dr. Kyle Gillett, a dual board-certified physician in Family Medicine and Obesity Medicine and an expert in metabolic, hormonal, and preventive health. Through his clinic, research, and The Gillett Health Podcast, he’s become a trusted voice for people seeking science-based, rootcause solutions rather than symptom-based band-aids. “Functional medicine is really ‘root cause medicine,’” Dr. Gillett often says. “It’s about asking why the problem exists and not just quieting the noise.” In this Q&A, Dr. Gillett breaks down the most common questions he hears from patients and offers simple, actionable guidance anyone can begin using today.

PHOTOGRAPHY BY JANIE JONES

AN INTERVIEW WITH DR. KYLE GILLETT

The New Frontier of Health

SHBG—which binds testosterone and estrogen—are completely missed. Beyond lab work, there are other factors: mitochondrial health, sleep quality, mental health, and even how sensitive your dopamine and serotonin receptors are. “Normal” labs do not always equal normal physiology for you.

“WHAT CAN I DO RIGHT NOW, TODAY, TO START FEELING BETTER?”

Dr. Gillett: Focus on the pillars of health: diet, exercise, sleep, stress, sunlight, social connection, and spiritual health. Treat them like habits and find ways to make them enjoyable or easy to start. Supplements and medications are supportive tools, not substitutes. Think of them like turbo chargers: they enhance a system that’s already functioning.

A FINAL WORD FROM DR. GILLETT

“The goal isn’t to tell people what to do, rather it’s to give them the information they need to decide what’s best for themselves.” By understanding the why behind your symptoms, labs, and lifestyle choices, you become the driver, not the passenger, of your health journey.
