LIFESTYLE LETTER
A Fresh Start in Full Sunlight Happy New Year! As we welcome a new year, our annual Health & Wellness issue always feels deeply personal to me. Long before wellness became an industry, my mother instilled the fundamentals that now feel almost avant-garde again: read your labels, understand what you’re putting into your body, embrace preventative care, lean toward holistic choices whenever possible, and always—always—do your research. These weren’t trends in our home; they were simply how we lived. Years ago, when I lived in northeast Scotland, January arrived as a month to endure—cold, dark, and endless—and everyone exhaled only when it finally passed. But here in South Florida, January is its own beginning. While much of the country bundles up, we are outside moving, breathing, and soaking in sunshine. Our landscape invites wellness, and with destinations like the recently opened Amrit Ocean Resort & Spa on Singer Island—home to the state’s largest spa and guided by world-renowned experts like Dr. Chopra—our region is rapidly emerging as a premier destination for health, rejuvenation, and well-being. I’ve always been health-minded, though I’ll admit I’m not a natural exerciser. My body loves stillness; movement requires intention. And with a sedentary lifestyle now considered “the new smoking,” that intention matters more than ever—especially for those of us who don’t leap out of bed eager to sweat. Most resolutions fade by the second Friday of January, infamously dubbed Quitter’s Day. I’ve decided to rename it Recommit Day—a cue not to abandon our goals, but to begin again. These days, I approach each new year with curiosity rather than absolutes. What small shifts might help me become a better version of myself? Sometimes it’s food. Sometimes movement. Sometimes the thoughts I allow in, or the words I choose to speak. Growth doesn’t need to be dramatic; it only needs to be deliberate. Fortunately, our community is rich with pathways to well-being—from a fullbody reset at The Tox Palm Beach to empowering personal training with The Wellthy Method, or a bespoke, elevated session with Zack at The Ave Luxe Gym. Together, these practitioners—and many others—are helping define our region as one of the nation’s most dynamic wellness hubs. My hope is that this issue inspires you to pursue your own version of health with confidence, curiosity, and joy. Here’s to a brighter and more mindful year ahead for all of us. S PA DAY | STYL E + BEAUT Y
There’s a moment, just past the glass doors, when the rest of the world seems to blur at the edges. At the Amrit Ocean Resort & Spa on Singer Island, it happens almost instantly — the soft shimmer of capiz shell catches the the light, scattering it across white stone in pearlescent patterns. A chilled white tea scented towel and a watermelon juice shot greet you, easing you into a calmer, more fluid pace. Amrit was built on the idea that wellbeing isn’t a treatment but a way of moving through the day — slowly, intentionally, beautifully. And you feel it in the smallest details: the way the hallways curve like soft river paths,
the way the architecture draws your gaze toward the Atlantic, the way even silence seems thoughtfully shaped. The spa itself rises four stories, a vertical sanctuary of quiet corridors and pristine treatment rooms. Its hydrothermal circuit, “Aayush,” translates loosely to vitality, and the journey lives up to its name. You wander through a Himalayan salt inhalation chamber, dry saunas, fragrant steam rooms, and a bracing 58-degree cold plunge that steals your breath before giving it back. In the locker rooms, the Experience Shower becomes its own multisensory escape — shifting water pressures, aromatherapy, lighting, even sound. Feel like a Caribbean storm? A spring rain? A single button summons it. Afterward, you scoop cool flakes from the Arctic Ice Fountain and smooth them over your skin, a moment of contrast therapy that sharpens the senses. While you wait for your service, you might curl up with a book in the library or settle into the relaxation room with dried mango, cherries, or apricots. The room is designed to create the optical illusion of being at sea: from a deep cushioned lounger wrapped in a warm blanket, all you see through the windows is blue — the endless sweep of the Atlantic and the occasional lazy arc of an osprey. It feels, for a moment, as though the entire spa has drifted from shore. Treatments unfold like ceremonies.Therapists work with a practiced ease — from Ayurvedic rituals to modern therapies like red light or hyperbaric oxygen. Every offering is delivered with equal parts gentleness and
precision. Nothing is rushed. Nothing is wasted. Time stretches, softens, dissolves. What makes Amrit different isn’t only its scale (though at over 100,000 square feet, the immensity is undeniable). It’s the message braided through every experience — this sense that healing doesn’t have to be hushed or clinical. It can be luxurious. It can be ocean-facing. It can honor ancient practices while embracing modern innovation. It can welcome both the curious and the weary. It’s a place that respects ritual but refuses rigidity. A place where you’re guided, never pushed. Where you can choose your own version of restoration — sensory, spiritual, athletic, or simply still. And when you finally step outside, blinking into the bright Singer Island sun, the world feels different. Cushier beneath your feet. Calmer at the center. As if something inside you has gently realigned. Amrit doesn’t promise transformation. It simply creates the conditions where transformation becomes possible.

Elevating Wellness,
ELEVATING COMMUNITY THE NEW 55,000-SQUARE-FOOT YMCA AIMS TO SET A NEW STANDARD FOR MOVEMENT, MINDFULNESS, AND IMPACT
In Palm Beach County, wellness has become more than a trend — it’s a way of living. It’s in the salt air of early-morning walks, in our cold-pressed juices, in the commitment to movement and presence. Increasingly, it’s also in the places we choose to spend our time. We seek environments that lift us, inspire us, and connect us. And in that spirit, something extraordinary is taking shape just across from Palm Beach International Airport: a new 55,000-square-foot flagship YMCA designed to redefine whole-person wellness for the next generation. Quietly but confidently, the YMCA of the Palm Beaches is building one of the region’s most ambitious wellness destinations — a campus that blends state-of-the-art fitness, mindful movement, youth engagement, and community connection in a way that feels both elevated and deeply rooted in purpose. This isn’t simply a new building; it’s a reimagining of what wellness can look like when a community chooses to dream bigger.
16
LOCA L LIM E LIGH T | S P ORTS + RE CRE AT ION
At the heart of the project is a belief that wellness should feel both inspiring and accessible. As YMCA President & CEO Tim Coffield explains, true wellness “is about feeling healthy, supported, and connected in every part of your life.” The new Wellness Center reflects that philosophy: dynamic strength and conditioning studios, a light-filled mind-body terrace for yoga and restorative practices, modern cardio and small-group training rooms, and an aquatics complex next door developed in partnership with Palm Beach County Parks & Recreation. It’s the caliber of space Palm Beach residents expect — but built on the YMCA promise that healthy living should remain a shared, inclusive experience. One of the most progressive elements of the campus — and one that reflects today’s holistic approach to health — is the Youth Engagement & Resource Center. Designed for ages 12 to 22, it will include a STEM lab with a robotics arena, recording studio, visual
arts center, teen lounge, e-gaming space, teaching kitchen, and targeted mentoring and workforce programs. Job-skills pathways will span construction trades, food service, digital design, sound engineering, and IT. At a time when teens face growing pressures — from social media to academic uncertainty — the YMCA is creating a place where they can feel seen, supported, and safe. That blend of physical vitality and emotional grounding is what makes this project feel so attuned to how the Palm Beaches are embracing wellness today. It’s movement and mindfulness. Fitness and purpose. It’s the understanding that a healthy community grows from the environments we build — and the opportunities we provide for others. The initiative — now more than 60 percent funded — reflects a rare and highly successful public-private partnership between the YMCA and Palm Beach County, which approved a 50-year ground lease for the new Lake Lytal Park site. Federal and state
support followed, and with groundbreaking complete, the campus is on track to open in 2026. Philanthropic momentum continues to surge, with Palm Beach residents stepping forward in record numbers to help bring the project across the finish line. For many supporters, the appeal is clear. As Coffield notes, donors aren’t investing in a gym — they’re investing in a healthier, stronger, more connected Palm Beach County. “You’re helping a child learn to swim,” he says. “You’re giving a young person mentorship and a path toward the future. You’re offering a senior a place to stay active and social.” The YMCA has shaped Palm Beach County for over a century, and this new campus secures its impact for decades to come. Though a naming donor is still to be identified, the vision is already clear: when the YMCA opens in 2026, it will offer far more than a place to work out — it will offer a community grounded in wellness, purpose, and belonging.

The Superfoods You’re Not Paying Attention To SMALL, MIGHTY, AND READY TO LEVEL UP YOUR WELLNESS ROUTINE. ARTICLE BY ARSINE KALOUSTIAN We all know the usual suspects—blueberries, salmon, avocados. Great choices, sure. But the wellness world is full of quiet powerhouses hiding in plain sight (or in the back of your pantry). These superfoods pack more nutrients than their flashier cousins and deserve a little space on your plate this year. Here’s your short list of the most potent, underrated superfoods worth paying attention to:
HOW TO ADD THESE SUPERFOODS TO YOUR WEEK • Smoothies: Acerola, cacao, goji • Teas & Tonics: Elderberry, reishi, turmeric • Daily Drizzles: Manuka honey • Bowls & Salads: Goji berries, turmeric vinaigrette • Nighttime Rituals: Reishi cocoa, turmeric latte Pro tip: Pair turmeric with black pepper to boost absorption by up to 2,000%.
GOJI BERRY
One of the richest natural sources of zeaxanthin, powerful for eye and skin health. Goji supports immunity, stabilizes mood, and boosts antioxidant intake with just a tablespoon added to yogurt or smoothies.
ELDERBERRY
Clinically shown to shorten the duration of colds, elderberry is antiviral, anti-inflammatory, and loaded with polyphenols that strengthen the respiratory and immune systems. Best as a syrup or tea in peak cold season.
REISHI MUSHROOM
This adaptogenic mushroom contains beta-glucans that modulate immunity and compounds that help regulate the body’s stress response. Often used to support sleep and calm the nervous system—easy to add to coffee or cocoa.
MANUKA HONEY
Powered by methylglyoxal (MGO), Manuka has strong antibacterial and wound-healing properties—medical-grade versions are even used in hospitals for burns. It soothes sore throats, supports digestion, and reduces inflammation.
ACEROLA CHERRY
A vitamin C powerhouse with up to 30x more C than oranges, making it exceptional for immunity, collagen production, and skin glow. A teaspoon of the powder gives a potent antioxidant lift.
TURMERIC
Curcumin, the active compound in turmeric, has been shown to help lower inflammatory markers in the body. It supports joint comfort and recovery, especially after stress or activity. Its antioxidant profile also helps shield cells from everyday wear and tear.
CACAO
Raw cacao delivers magnesium, antioxidants, and mood-lifting compounds like theobromine. It supports heart health, energy, and stress reduction—add to warm milk or smoothies for a functional chocolate fix.

THE Resolutions That STICK The Ave Luxe Gym co-founder Zechariah Cesani on easing in, planning for roadblocks, and creating sustainable habits ARTICLE BY ARSINE KALOUSTIAN PHOTOGRAPHY COURTESY OF THE AVE LUXE GYM January sparks big intentions: new routines, cleaner habits, a stronger, steadier you. But by February, most resolutions have unraveled. Certified Personal Trainer and The Ave Luxe Gym co-founder Zechariah Cesani says it’s not laziness — it’s a lack of clarity. Too many goals are built on excitement, not honesty about what we can realistically sustain. In his view, real change starts with alignment.
START WITH SELF-RESPECT, NOT AESTHETICS
When asked how to apply self-respect to New Year’s resolutions, Cesani says it begins with defining success personally. “Everyone has a different definition of success, but failure is defined the same — not living up to our potential.” He adds that most fitness goals, whether strength or mobility, are really about moving away from a personal pain point. People often abandon resolutions, he says, when their actions stop matching their intentions. “We feel convicted because what we say and what we do are not in alignment.” Pursuing meaningful goals teaches people how to “show up” for themselves, Cesani notes — and those habits inevitably spill into other areas of life.
JANUARY ISN’T THE TIME TO GO ‘ALL IN’
One of the most common mistakes people make is approaching January with a sprint mentality. Cesani’s advice is simple: start with a plan that feels realistic. “Motivation gets you started,” he says, “but discipline keeps you going.” And discipline only grows when a routine is sustainable.

EXPECT THE ROADBLOCKS BEFORE THEY ARRIVE
When someone comes to him with a big goal — weight loss, improved mobility, race prep — Cesani starts by identifying what could interfere. “We have a preventative approach to training,” he says. He reviews injuries, surgeries, joint pain, and medical history, then tests movement and mechanics. Addressing these “pain points” early is essential, he explains; if skipped, the body “can feed into an issue that should have been addressed,” making progress harder than it needs to be. CONTINUED >

23
THE DAILY HABITS THAT MAKE CHANGE POSSIBLE
Cesani encourages clients to start with honesty. “Self-awareness is the first step to growth,” he says. A dramatic “why” isn’t necessary — just noticing the moments when you feel out of alignment. He also distinguishes resolutions from goals. “Resolutions are not goals,” he explains. “They’re an agreement with yourself that no matter what happens… you will overcome it, long before any obstacle comes in your path.” He adds that the right community helps normalize the habits needed for change. His team of trainers, he says, focus on attitudes and actions — what clients can control — and adjust the plan until they reach and eventually surpass their goals.
WHEN LIFE GETS BUSY, LET THE CALENDAR LEAD
For clients juggling demanding schedules, Cesani offers one of his most practical pieces of advice: “Allow your schedule to run your life. If it’s on the schedule, do it. If it’s not on the schedule, then it doesn’t happen.” For him, structure isn’t restrictive — it’s what protects consistency.
CELEBRATE THE PROGRESS YOU CAN FEEL, NOT JUST SEE
The Ave Luxe S.M.A.R.T. Start 2026
While many people focus on the scale, Cesani encourages paying attention to the less visible signs of improvement. Energy, clarity, mood, digestion, mobility, motivation, and even appetite are all indicators that a new routine is taking hold.
For Cesani, the phrase “New Year’s resolution” falls short. He prefers a S.M.A.R.T. Start — a clearer, more grounded way to approach change. The framework, he says, gives people the fundamental structure they need to set meaningful, workable goals.
PLATEAUS ARE PART OF THE PROCESS
Specific
When motivation dips, Cesani doesn’t try to “pep talk” people out of it. Instead, he reminds them of the conviction that brought them into the process in the first place. “We don’t motivate clients,” he says. “We remind them of their convictions and meet them where they are.”
Clarify the exact goal, resolution, or conviction you’re committing to.
THE REAL KEY TO A NEW YEAR
Achievable
In Cesani’s view, resolutions don’t fail because people fall short. They fail because the structure supporting them was never honest, realistic, or grounded. Change lasts when it comes from alignment, self-respect, and a plan that accounts for both ambition and imperfection. This year, he hopes people approach their resolutions not as promises of perfection, but as steady, reinforced agreements with themselves — the kind that withstand the calendar rather than crumble under it.

Practicing App-stinence in the New Year Let’s be honest: we’re all in a messy situationship with our phones. We know it’s unhealthy. We know we should probably see other hobbies. And yet… there we are, doom-scrolling in the dark like raccoons with Wi-Fi. So this year, instead of becoming a “new you,” maybe you just try becoming a slightly less screen-obsessed version of yourself. Enter: app-stinence—the art of putting the phone down before your loved ones stage an intervention.
1. DINNER WITHOUT THE DIGITAL THIRD WHEEL
We all insist we won’t look at our phones at dinner, and then someone’s fork moves and suddenly we’re checking a text or photographing the entrée like we’re headlining Bon Appétit. Try going cold turkey for thirty minutes. You’ll remember what your food tastes like—and possibly rediscover the personalities of the people sitting beside you.
2. KIDS DESERVE MORE THAN YOUR HALF-ATTENTION
Children know when you’re only sort of listening. They feel it. And they will absolutely respond with a 19-minute monologue on dinosaurs or Minecraft lore as punishment. Practicing app-stinence here means giving them your full face for sixty seconds at a time. Eyes up. Phone down. They remember that.
3. STOP TUCKING YOURSELF INTO BED WITH BAD NEWS
Most of us climb into bed and immediately scroll ourselves into an anxiety spiral. Shockingly, this does not lead to peaceful sleep. Try banning your phone from the pillow zone or cut yourself off thirty minutes before lights out. Your nervous system will notice the difference.
4. MICRO-MOMENTS OF SANITY
You don’t have to become a sandalwood-scented monk. Just try a few tiny shifts: • Stand in line without grabbing your phone. • Take a short walk with no headphones. • Let yourself be bored for five seconds without seeking stimulation. These little moments add up quickly.
5. REPLACE REFLEX WITH RITUAL
Phones thrive on automatic behavior—reach, tap, scroll. Break the reflex by replacing it with something intentional: a morning stretch, a book by the bed, a family phone basket, or one weekly no-tech night. Ritual beats willpower every time. At the end of the day, app-stinence isn’t punishment—it’s protection. It’s the conversation you hear, the bedtime story you don’t rush, the meal where no one’s screen lights up their face. The apps will survive without you. The moments, however, won’t.
Because we all deserve a little less screen time and a lot more real life. ARTICLE BY ARSINE KALOUSTIAN

Inside Palm Beach’s Most Refined Full-Body Reset There are treatments, and then there are rituals—those rare experiences that feel less like an appointment and more like stepping into a more elevated version of yourself. Here in the Palm Beaches, where beauty is both an inheritance and an expectation, the newest expression of luxury isn’t louder or flashier. It’s more deliberate. More refined. This is the world clients enter at The Tox Palm Beach, a studio that has become synonymous with a certain kind of polished ease—the feeling of waking up in your best skin, moving through the day unburdened, and looking subtly sculpted without ever sacrificing natural elegance. It’s the kind of luxury that doesn’t announce itself… but is unmistakably felt. Co-owner Sean Welsh sees it every day: “People come in wanting to feel lighter and more at home in their bodies,” he says. “What they leave with is a reset—a calm, sculpted clarity that stays with them.” In a town where the dinner party, the gallery opening, the jet, and the beach club can all inhabit the same afternoon, The Tox has become the next evolution of whole-body care: ritualized, results-driven, and exquisitely designed.
THE MASTER TOX: PALM BEACH’S NEW ESSENTIAL RITUAL
The studio’s signature Master Tox has gained a near-mythic following. Welsh describes it as “a full-body reset that blends body sculpting, lymphatic activation, and digestive bodywork

in one seamless treatment.” The immediate result? A body that feels de-bloated, refined, and vibrationally calmer. “Clients walk out feeling noticeably more sculpted—like someone quietly turned the volume down on stress and water retention,” Welsh notes. It’s an experience that resonates deeply in a destination where people want to feel polished—and stay that way.
REDEFINING ‘DETOX’ FOR THE MODERN BODY
The Tox’s philosophy is captured in three words: detox, sculpt, transform. But for Welsh, “detox” is grounded firmly in physiology. “Detox, sculpt, transform’ means helping the body move stagnant fluid and waste so it can function—and look—its best,” he explains. “Clients often see a flatter midsection, reduced puffiness, and what Welsh calls an “immediate lift in energy and clarity.” This is detox without gimmicks—simply a body returned to balance.
A STUDIO DESIGNED FOR STILLNESS AND PRECISION
Minimalist luxury defines the West Palm Beach studio, known for its black-on-black aesthetic. Welsh intentionally designed the space to sharpen the senses rather than stimulate them. “The client is the focal point and everything else quietly recedes,” he says. “Stepping into the studio feels like pressing pause.” It’s a cinematic calm—an hour where the outside world falls away.
“One session often feels like a reset button for a body that’s been running in overdrive.” CONTINUED >

In Palm Beach, where luxury is a language and wellness an WHY LYMPHATIC WORK MATTERS NOW
Welsh sees the rise of circulation-focused treatments as a reflection of the modern lifestyle. Travel, events, late nights, and stress all create what he calls a “heavy, puffy, off” feeling. “The Tox Technique is a clear, consistent protocol that does exactly what people want it to do—help them feel and look more streamlined without adding another complicated routine,” he says. “One session often feels like a reset button for a body that’s been running in overdrive.”
A GENTLE OFFERING FOR EXPECTANT MOTHERS
Even pregnancy doesn’t pause the Tox lifestyle. The Pregnancy Master Tox offers a safe, sculpting-focused variation. Welsh explains, “It’s a specially modified version with gentle work on the arms, legs, and face while avoiding deep abdominal work.” Expectant mothers often leave with less swelling, better circulation, and what Welsh describes as “a softer, more rested glow.”
LOCALS, TRAVELERS, AND THE ART OF THE QUICK TRANSFORMATION
Palm Beach locals consider The Tox part of their routine—pre-gala, post-travel, or simply to stay sculpted through the season. “Locals weave it into their regular rhythm,” Welsh says. Visitors use it as a high-impact reset: “a pre-gala sculpt, a post-flight reset, or a ‘I need to feel incredible tonight’ session.” In all cases, the goal is the same: walk out feeling sharper, clearer, and visibly refined.
INNER FUNCTION MEETS OUTER FORM
What actually happens in the body during a Tox session? Welsh breaks it down: “Targeted sculpting movements follow lymphatic pathways and support circulation, helping to move excess fluid and ease retention.” Clients often describe feeling “lighter on their feet and more awake in their bodies,” he says. The visible effects—smoother lines, a more defined waist—mirror the internal shift.
FACIAL SCULPTING WITH INSTANT IMPACT
The Sculpting Facial is another signature, one that produces the kind of subtle lift and contour that prompts immediate compliments.

art form, The Tox has become both. And for those seeking the next step in whole-body care, it may just be the new standard.
“It focuses on structure and flow,” Welsh explains. “We combine precise facial bodywork with tools that define the jawline, lift the cheekbones, and reduce puffiness.” Clients leave looking sculpted, serene, and unmistakably refreshed.
MAKING THE RESULTS LAST
To extend the benefits, Welsh encourages a cadence of treatments supported by simple home rituals. “We carry the full line of Tox products—lymphatic tea, sculpting tools—to keep the system supported between visits,” he says. The philosophy is simple: live in the feeling, not just chase it.
THE FUTURE: CURATED WELLNESS JOURNEYS
The Tox Palm Beach is entering a new era, evolving from a treatment studio into a curated wellness destination. “The next chapter is thoughtfully designed days and programs that pair body and facial sculpting with product rituals and seasonal resets,” Welsh shares. The goal? “For people to feel incredible in their bodies and look effortlessly polished year-round—not just for a single event.” In Palm Beach, where luxury is a language and wellness an art form, The Tox has become both. And for those seeking the next step in whole-body care, it may just be the new standard. JANUARY 2 0 2 6 | C I TYL I FE STYL E . C OM/PAL M BE AC HF L

A Clearer Way Forward Why simplifying your surroundings—and your headspace— sets the foundation for a calmer, more grounded year. As a new year begins, many of us feel a pull to simplify—to clear the corners that feel heavy and protect the peace we hope to carry forward. Peace isn’t perfection; it’s creating a space that supports calm and clarity. Often, that starts with small choices: setting boundaries around your time or gently clearing the papers and materials that accumulate unnoticed. Files, blueprints, presentation boards—these everyday items quietly shape how grounded or distracted we feel. Palm Beach Copy Service (PBCS), a longstanding West Palm Beach company, sees this every day. Their work—digitizing documents, organizing mixed papers, refreshing large-format materials—often sits where practicality meets emotional relief. “Clients often feel mentally lighter and more in control after digitizing old papers,” says owner Scott McCabe. “They experience reduced mental clutter, greater productivity, emotional relief, and a renewed focus on what truly matters.”
THE POWER OF STARTING SMALL
For anyone feeling overwhelmed by years of accumulated paperwork, McCabe encourages beginning with

gentle, manageable steps. He often suggests a “five-minute sweep” to toss obviously outdated items, or creating a single landing zone—a bin or folder—to gather all loose papers without needing to organize anything yet. Choosing one small category to sort, like just receipts or just notebooks, can also provide an easy starting point. Early progress matters more than perfection. “Start with easy wins,” McCabe says. “Skip the sentimental items at first. Even one cleared section counts.”
WHEN YOUR VISUAL FIELD SUPPORTS YOUR MENTAL FIELD
Peace isn’t just created by what you put away—it’s shaped by what you see every day. Oversized prints, rolled plans, and mismatched boards can overwhelm a workspace, but updating them with intentional, cohesive large-format pieces can instantly transform a room. Many turn architectural drawings into focal points, replace scattered materials with a single polished board, or add calming art to bring balance. “Transform any room with visuals that support focus and inspiration,” McCabe says. “New energy often begins with one large-format print.”
Files, blueprint s, presentation boards— these ever yday items quietly shape how grounded or dis trac ted we feel.
WHEN ORGANIZATION BECOMES EMOTIONAL RELIEF
Some moments go far beyond aesthetics. McCabe recalls an 82-year-old retired engineer whose boxes of mixed papers— financial statements, handwritten notes, medical records—had become unmanageable. As he tried to get his affairs in order, the weight of those boxes felt overwhelming. PBCS helped him sort and digitize everything into clear, intuitive folders. For the first time in years, his information made sense, and he could share organized files with his attorney, CPA, and children in minutes. “I’ve been carrying this responsibility alone for so long,” he told McCabe. “Now everyone has what they need, and I can finally relax.”
A GENTLE HABIT FOR A GROUNDED START
If you’re hoping to feel more centered in the new year, McCabe offers one simple, achievable practice: clear one little surface or one folder each day. A desk corner. A single drawer. One inbox folder. Ten minutes, max. Why it works: it creates momentum without overwhelm, reduces the background stress we stop noticing, and—by the end of January—those small pockets of clarity add up to a meaningful shift. “Even this tiny daily habit creates a noticeable sense of clarity and control,” McCabe says. “It’s a gentle way to start the year grounded.” JANUARY 2 0 2 6 | C I TYL I FE STYL E .
