Invest in a few staple pieces that are classically designed, neutral, and made to last. White linens and dishes can be incredibly versatile and chic, and can serve as the foundation for your table settings year round.“ I have been collecting Lennox Butler’s Pantry for about fifteen years,” Smith reveals. “There’s a lot of good memories in those dishes. Some were purchased brand new from Dillard’s, some were gifts from my mama and daddy, and some were lucky finds at garage and estate sales.”

When decorating your home, think through how you will add (or take away) layers for the changing of seasons,” Christina advises. “For instance, on my outdoor sofa, the black and white buffalo check and stripe patterned pillows are used year round. I simply add a couple of accent pillows and throws to suit each season and instantly, it looks as if I redecorated the entire patio.
The layered pumpkins and yellow blanket are made by Sweet Tea Blankets, they can be purchased at Hamilton Rae.

Mine are a wood patterned plastic from Big Lots, and they have worked perfectly for the three years I have had them. And I personally never spend a lot on glassware, because I live in a house of elephants! If it can’t withstand the bottom of the sink or the dishwasher, it wouldn’t last a day here. But I do love stemmed glasses, so I get mine from HomeGoods, Big Lots, or Walmart.”

TRAVIS MCVEY, THE CREATOR OF THE STONES RIVER MARTINI. He chose this specific cocktail for a number of reasons, one being because he is a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Stones River Post 12206. Which is the newest VFW post in Tennessee. This specific VFW is named after the famous Civil War battle that happened at Stones River in Murfreesboro. The Stones River Battlefield is a Historic Park in Murfreesboro to mark that historic event in American history. The color of the cocktail represents the MTSU Blue Raiders.

Since his time on The Bachelor, Ben has taken the opportunity to use his fame to create not one, but two inspiring podcasts, publish a successful autobiography, while also elevating awareness of his “for-purpose” Generous Coffee brand. BH: The idea came in July of 2017 and we launched in January of 2018. When the show [The Bachelor] happened, our fundraising increased 500%, but we also knew that it probably wasn’t going to last. We asked ourselves how we can make this more sustainable, and we came up with the idea that we could start a for-profit business and call ourselves “for-purpose.” We donate 100% of our profits to non-profits.

About the Director... Kristi Glover Hello, my name is Kristi Glover and I am the owner of Promise Kids Parents Day Out. I have a Bachelor’s Degree from Middle Tenn. State University in Early Childhood Education. I worked in a homeschool program while in college, kept children in my home, worked at a daycare, supervised teachers in a tutoring program, lead in our children’s ministry at church, taught 6 years with Murfreesboro City Schools, while coaching girls’ basketball, and opened Promise Kids in 2012. I believe all kids deserve to have a safe educational environment to learn and grow in the Lord and academically. We strive to share the love of Jesus Christ every day and to provide a lasting education in each child that comes to us. My husband and I have 5 children and are so blessed for each one of them. In our spare time we are active in our church, Bethel Community Church, attend sporting events, travel, and spend a lot of time on the field, court or in the gym with our kids. God is number one in our lives because without Him nothing is possible!
