Style helps us thrive.
September 2025 PUBLISHER
Dear Neighbors, How are you feeling? For me, I’m feeling better than I have in a long time. I hope August was for you, what feels like watching a beautiful sunset paint the sky after a fun day with your favorite people kind of month; a beautiful wrap to summer. With the arrival of Sept on the horizon we’re gliding into a new season, new temps, new fit’s (as my kids say) and some renewed ambition for all things life. Fall has a way of feeling like the real new year, doesn’t it? This issue won’t disappoint. We have some fresh inspo I feel you’ll truly love delving into. This month, we’re celebrating style in every form, from the head-turning to the heart-opening. We’re talking elevated interiors, polished posture, buttery-soft leather sofas, and the perfect putt. Kicking off our STYLE issue is the retro meets sporty Fore All brand making major moves in Golf industry. Founded by Jen Clyde and Michelle Money-Weir, Fore All is everything traditional golf culture isn’t: vibrant, inclusive, and actually fun. They created the brand after stepping onto the course and realizing none of the gear or fashion reflected their style. We’re also heading south to one of Utah’s most stunning destinations: Black Desert Resort in Ivins. Couples, this is your cue. With red rock views, luxury suites, spa days, stargazing, and championship golf, it’s got romance and adventure written all over it. Pack your clubs and someone you love—it’s that kind of trip. Back here at home, we’re spotlighting some stylish self-care, too. A great chiropractor isn’t just about cracking backs—it’s about feeling aligned in your body and in your life. Add in a few golf pro tips, and you might just find your swing (and your swagger). Of course, style is personal. Maybe it’s in your signature cocktail or the playlist you queue up when friends come over. Maybe it’s the way your favorite chair hugs you after a long day. Maybe it’s in a well-worn golf glove or the confidence of a good hair day. However you define it, we’re here for it. I hope this issue inspires a deeper sense of confidence as you strut out in the world, make your mark, and wrap those days in color, connection and grace. Because when your life feels like you, that’s the real win.

Furnishing a Life of Style
WHERE PERSONAL STYLE MEETS TIMELESS DESIGN—CUSTOM FURNISHINGS THAT TURN HOUSES INTO DEEPLY PERSONAL HOMES. ARTICLE BY GREG LOWE | PHOTOGRAPHY PROVIDED BY HELM

I NSP IR E D BY | HO ME + D E SIGN
Personal style is so much more than the clothes we wear or the way we style our hair. It’s how we carry ourselves, how we gather, how we rest—and most of all, how we live. Style should shine through in every area of life, including the spaces we call home. Because when a home is furnished with care and intention, it becomes a true extension of who we are. That belief has shaped everything at Helm, a local, family-owned custom furniture and interior design store that’s been helping Utahns furnish their dream homes since 1976. For nearly five decades, Helm has partnered with homeowners, builders, and designers across the state to create environments that feel beautifully personal, refined, and deeply livable. Step inside Helm’s 30,000-square-foot showroom on State Street in Murray, and you’ll quickly sense the difference. This isn’t just a store—it’s a curated experience. Every piece on the floor has
been selected not just for how it looks, but for how it feels and functions in a real home. From classic to contemporary, warm neutrals to bold statements, each item reflects Helm’s core belief: style starts with soul. “For us, furniture isn’t a commodity,” says Chris Ross, Helm’s owner. “It’s a way to carry a person’s unique style into their home and create spaces that feel intentional, collected, and completely one-of-a-kind.” That unique approach has earned Helm its reputation as Utah’s go-to destination for high-end, high-style furnishings. Their in-house designers work closely with clients to find the perfect pieces—or design them from scratch. With access to a vast network of premium vendors like Baker, Century, Bernhardt, Hickory Chair, Lexington, and Massoud, Helm can deliver a curated mix of quality, comfort, and custom fit.

And in today’s age of online shopping and impersonal service, Helm offers something refreshingly tactile: the opportunity to see, touch, sit, and truly experience a piece before it enters your home. If something in the showroom isn’t quite right, their team can help you customize everything—from wood tones and finishes to fabric choices, sizes, and silhouettes. Whether you’re furnishing a single room or sourcing every last rug, light fixture, and piece of art for a new build, Helm brings the vision, logistics, and craftsmanship to make it happen. They even handle the warehousing and delivery coordination that complex, whole-home projects require. At its core, Helm is more than a furniture store—it’s a style partner, a design studio, and a trusted resource for homeowners who want to live beautifully. When your home reflects your true self, every day feels a little more grounded. A little more you. That’s the magic Helm brings home.
Today, people want houses to be more than just comfortable places to live. They want their homes to reflect their personal styles while providing a sense of luxury.

THE STORY BEHIND FORE ALL
It all started with a missed invitation. “I got left out of a golf outing—not because they were being rude, but because they assumed I didn’t golf,” says Jennifer Clyde, co-founder and CEO of Fore All, a women’s golf clothing brand rooted in style, inclusivity, and fun. “That moment made me realize: if I’m going to be in business, I need to learn how to golf.” What followed was a journey—equal parts friendship, fashion, and frustration. Jennifer and her longtime friend Michelle Money, who was also learning to golf, quickly noticed the lack of stylish options available to women. “I walked into a golf shop and found one sad rack in the back. It was like, has it always been this bad for women?” Jennifer recalls. “It was devastating.” Instead of walking away, they built a brand.

Their first Instagram video—laughing through bad swings and bonding over the game—went viral. “We weren’t pretending to be great. We were having fun. And it hit a nerve,” Jennifer says. From there, they hosted sold-out events across North America before officially launching Fore All in Spring 2023. Unlike most apparel lines, Fore All was built with its audience. “We had a community before we had a product,” Jennifer explains. “We asked what women wanted—pants that hold you in, skirts that don’t ride up—and that feedback shaped our line.” The brand’s tagline, Golfing Optional, captures its essence. “You don’t even have to golf to wear our clothes,” Jennifer says. “You can wear them to brunch, to work, or out running errands. It’s about confidence and connection—on or off the course.” That ethos runs through everything they design. “As a former fashion stylist, I’ve dressed every body type imaginable,” she says. “Women want to feel confident, no matter their age, shape, or skill level.” And while Jennifer admits her own golf game has taken a back seat—“Honestly, I’ve gotten worse!”—her passion for the sport, and what it can bring to women’s lives, hasn’t faded. “Golf gives you uninterrupted time with your kids. It gets you outdoors and off your phone. It’s not just about the swing—it’s about connection.” With a new fall collection hitting stores, featuring warm merlot tones and Fore All’s signature green, Jennifer hopes more women give the game, and themselves, a chance. “Try it,” she says. “Not for your husband, not for anyone else. Try it for you,” Jennifer adds. “Golf has a way of surprising you. It connects you to nature, to others, and even to parts of yourself you didn’t know you were missing.”

Golf is Mental UN-SABOTAGE YOUR GAME
If you're like most golfers, you’ve practiced your swing, bought the right clubs, and maybe even taken a lesson or two—but something still feels off. You hit one perfect shot, then three you’d rather forget. You walk off the course wondering, What just happened out there? The truth is, golf is mental—and there are unconscious habits quietly sabotaging your game. As someone who came to golf after recovering from a back injury, I’ve had to approach the game with a deeper awareness of body, breath, and mind. What I’ve discovered—and now share with my students—is that the best golf is played not just with talent, but with presence. Here are some often-overlooked ways you might be sabotaging your game—and how to turn them around: 1. YOU’RE FORGETTING TO BREATHE Your breath is your reset button. Before every shot, try a simple breathwork practice: Inhale for 4 counts, hold for 2, exhale for 6. Repeat this as you step into your pre-shot routine to calm the nervous system and focus your energy. 2. YOU'RE RUSHING YOUR ROUTINE Golf rewards ritual. Develop a pre-shot routine that grounds you in the moment. Giving yourself a consistent mental and physical cue that tells your brain: “Now, we’re ready.” 3. WALKING TOO FAST Use your walk between shots as moving meditation. Slow down, notice your breath and surroundings. 4. YOUR EYES AND EARS ARE YOUR SUPERPOWERS Too often, we’re overly focused on mechanics. But our sensory awareness can bring us back to the moment. Take in the textures, colors, and sounds of the course. Your senses are grounding tools—and they quiet mental noise.
ARTICLE BY PATRICK ROBINSON

M EN TA L WE LLB E IN G | S PORTS + RE CRE AT ION
5. YOU'RE OFF BALANCE—LITERALLY A tilted head or uneven weight distribution can quietly throw your entire swing off. Keep your head level, your spine neutral, and stay in tune with your feet. Good posture = better balance = more control. 6. YOU’RE OVER-CAFFEINATED This one's sneaky. Caffeine spikes anxiety, tightens muscles, and disrupts focus. Consider cutting back or switching to green tea before tee time. You want to be energized—not jittery. 7. YOU’RE LETTING OUTSIDE NEGATIVITY IN Golf mirrors life. If you're surrounded by negativity on the course—or in your own head—show compassion, but also set healthy boundaries. Protect your peace. Your mental space is sacred. 8. YOU HAVEN’T FOUND YOUR MINDFULNESS NICHE Mindfulness doesn’t look the same for everyone. I use Qi Gong, meditation, and breathwork. For you, it might be stretching, visualization, or simply quiet reflection before a round. Find your practice and protect it. 9. YOU’RE PLAYING WITH THE WEIGHT OF PAST MISTAKES Trauma—emotional or physical—can influence decision-making in subtle ways. If you find yourself reacting with fear, frustration, or defeat, take a pause. 10. YOU’VE LOST TOUCH WITH THE JOY Let’s not forget: you’re outside, moving your body, solving a puzzle with your brain, bathed in sunlight. That alone is a gift. Don’t let expectations rob you of the joy. Golf is a challenge—but it’s also play. You have the freedom to choose your thoughts, your pace, your reactions. So the next time you head to the course, bring your whole self—not just your swing.
“Golf teaches us about life. Sometimes we surprise ourselves. Sometimes we struggle. Every round offers a chance to show up, breathe deep, do our best. Joy in resilience is our greatest gift.” S EP TEMB ER 2 0 2 5 | C I TYL I FE STYL E . C OM / M I L LC R E E K

Move Better, Live Stronger How Elevated Sport & Spine Redefines Chiropractic Care For Dr. Taylor Wolf, owner of Elevated Sport & Spine in Millcreek, chiropractic care is about more than quick fixes. It’s about longevity, performance, and personalization. A lifelong athlete and former college football player, Wolf was introduced to chiropractic care as a teenager. “I was a three-sport varsity athlete as a freshman, which meant I was getting banged up a lot,” he recalled. “My brother was in chiropractic school and recommended I go see someone. I just fell in love with the atmosphere of the office.” That early experience planted a seed. He pursued pre-med in college, worked as an EMT, and shadowed different types of providers. But it was the energy of private practice—and the desire to help people move better—that ultimately led him to chiropractic school. After graduating early, Wolf moved to Park City to work as a ski instructor and fell in love with the mountains. “I knew I wanted to end up out West,” he said. When it came time to find an internship, he landed in Salt Lake—but found the traditional, high-volume chiropractic model lacking. “I felt like I could see some gaps. Adjustments are great, but I knew I wanted to do more than just crack backs all day.”
ARTICLE BY VALERIE BIANCULLI PHOTOGRAPHY BY ROBYN WOOLEY
24
H EA LT H Y LIF E ST Y LE | H E ALT H + WE LLN E SS
Wolf began exploring additional certifications—everything from the Titleist Performance Institute to dynamic neuromuscular stabilization. “Every time I thought about who my perfect patient was, I imagined myself in the future,” he said. “I want to ski until the day I die. I want to be 50 years old and still outdrive my son-in-law on the golf course.” That mindset shaped the philosophy behind Elevated Sport & Spine: helping people of all abilities stay active and do what they love for as long as possible. “It’s about getting to the root cause of pain,” Wolf explained. “For the moms I see, their sport might be picking up a two-year-old every day. For someone else, it’s hitting a golf ball 300 yards. Our job is to understand those goals and create a clear care plan to help get there.”
Unlike typical chiropractic or PT clinics where patients might only see a provider for 15–20 minutes, Wolf spends a full hour one-on-one with every patient. “That level of individualization is hard to recreate,” he said. “No two hip patients need the same thing. A cookie-cutter plan isn’t going to work.” Operating out of Apex Golf, Wolf’s practice blends seamlessly with a performance environment. “We’ve got my rehab room, three full-service hitting bays, and PGA-certified coaches,” he shared. “If we fix something in the treatment room, we want to make sure we can reproduce it in your swing. That’s how we prevent flare-ups on hole 15.” He’s also launching two new initiatives this fall: Bogey Free Bodies, a free monthly golf-centric workshop at Apex, and a 12-week prehab program to prepare for ski season, developed in partnership with a personal trainer. “The idea is to get the body in an efficient, powerful position before strengthening on top of it,” Wolf said. “So when December rolls around, you’re ready to go.” Ultimately, Wolf believes movement is medicine—and that small habits have big payoffs. “Sitting is the cigarette of our generation,” he said. “Our bodies were designed to do cool things with cool people. The more you move, the longer you can do the things you love.” Whether you’re a golfer, a parent, or just someone trying to live pain-free, Elevated Sport & Spine offers more than treatment, it offers a strategy for a stronger, healthier you.

A Unique E xperience What you wear should tell the world who you are—before you say a word. Rather Unique Style is a personal shopping and styling service for professionals, public figures, and everyday trendsetters ready to step into a wardrobe that reflects their highest, most confident self. Post-pandemic, style has taken on a whole new meaning. Bazers now meet denim. Sneakers stand tall beneath tailored trousers. Comfort is no longer a compromise—it’s a statement of self-respect. In this new era, style is less about status and more about alignment. You can dress fashionably and still lack personal style. But true style? That’s a reflection of confidence, clarity, and self-awareness. It’s spirit expressed through clothing. Starting with a one-on-one consultation, wardrobe audit, body shape and color analysis, and customized style inspiration. When you dress well, you carry yourself differently.
